Chalet frente al lago, en un entorno prístino, con privacidad y mucho espacio

Este chalet frente al lago está ubicado en un lote arbolado de 2 acres frente al lago con mucha privacidad y espacio para grupos pequeños o grandes para disfrutar. Está ubicado en una comunidad privada orientada a la familia con una ordenanza de ruido. Atendemos a familias y otros grupos que buscan disfrutar de la relajación y el aire libre. Summit Lake tiene aproximadamente 45 acres de tamaño, tiene menos de 25 cabañas. Aproximadamente el 45% de la costa está y permanecerá sin desarrollar a través de una servidumbre en poder de Delaware River Conservancy. Tiene una estufa de leña, además del calor regular, una fogata al aire libre, con leña incluida. Ofrecemos a los huéspedes el uso de 4 kayaks, 2 canoas y un bote de remos desde nuestro muelle privado.

Family vacation

Better Every Time

We've stayed here every summer for quite some years. The experience gets better and better every time. Updates on home, very private, substantial dock for socializing, peaceful. Our two dogs love (and respect) the place!

Always a Fun Vacation

Our 14th or 15th stay here. It's nice to see the improvements that Jim the owner is making. New carpet and tile in the living area were welcome improvements. We normally come during the cooler months and have never needed to use the A/C but it was HOT during our visit and the A/C was wonderful. Fishing was good, weather was the best we've had. Always great to explore and find new places in the area

Ski trip

My family rented this cabin for a short ski trip to Elk mtn. The cabin was really nice and described nicely in summary. We couldn’t do much exploring of propety due to amount of snow but we are already looking forward to renting this in summer. It’s right on lake with a dock, couldn’t ask for anything better. We really enjoyed our visit.

I have never had to leave a bad review until now. The outside was perfect, the inside was not. Wonderful lake, great backyard. Comfortable fire pit and great kayaks and row boat. The inside needs work. All the appliances are very outdated. Several of the pots and pans had dried batter on them. The one bathroom is small and outdated as well. The owner was not very polite and gave us a big hassle about my daughter's therapy dog that did not even end up coming due to his warning about us being charged extra if there was any dog hair left. So my daughter chose not to come as he made us feel very uncomfortable. We ended up leaving early as my parents could not function in the outdated, dirty kitchen. We ended up leaving the place cleaner then when we checked in.

Great, Cozy Stay -- Need 4 Wheel Drive in Winter

We had such a lovely time at this cozy little cabin! It’s simple, charming, and had everything we needed, including firewood for the fireplace, which made our evenings extra special. While it’s a bit more basic in terms of amenities, the location is perfect for skiing and offers a peaceful getaway. Just a heads-up—the owner’s advice about needing a 4x4 in winter is definitely true—one of our family members in a Tesla couldn’t make it. The kids had a blast, and the Internet worked perfectly. Overall, it was a fantastic stay for anyone wanting some quiet time in nature!

Rustic Pocono Cabin On Small Lake

Nice, rustic, well used, comfortable cabin. Lovely Summit Lake with fish to catch and the host providing a row boat, canoe and kayaks. There is a nice fire pit for campfires, the host providing the firewood and comfortable seating. Located away from other attractions, the cabin and grounds made a nice place for our family vacation.

Great family vacation

We all enjoyed our time staying on the lake. We swam, enjoyed the dock, the floating dock, the kayaks, canoe and row boat, and even attempted some fishing. The fire pit area was great for the evening as well. This property has a beautiful view of the lake, is clean and well cared for. We enjoyed our stay.

Great weekend

The chalet is in a lovely quiet setting on a beautiful lake. We enjoyed the beginning of the fall foliage which was stunning. House had everything we needed and it was full of rustic charm.

Peaceful Private & Cozy

We had a wonderful stay in this secluded spot. The kids loved the elk prominently displayed in the main living area and had an amazing time romping around through the snow and checking out the lakefront. Definitely a beautiful neck of the woods.

Relaxing Getaway

The property was secluded and relaxing with beautiful views. House and decks could use some maintenance and updates. It was clean and comfortable - plenty of space. Camp across the lake gets noisy.

Cottage on the lake

I'm a local owner that lives 3 miles from this property. I also own and operate the Lakewood Lodge and Restaurant from that distance. For guests with specific interests, I'm a long time resident and can provide advice on the many activities available in Northeast Pennsylvania. Experienced fisherman, I can point you in the direction of trophy trout fishing, with a fly rod, on the Upper Delaware River. Or float the River with an experienced guide that we can help you arrange.

Kayaking and canoeing is available directly from our shoreline, which also includes a shorebased dock with seating, and a floating dock anchored 75 ft. off shore. We provide adult and child size life vests, located in master bedroom closet. You can also enjoy kayaking and tubing on the Upper Delaware, with equipment rentals available during the warmer months.

The lake itself is springfed and clean, and regularly tested. For yourself or children swiming, I recommend those water slippers so you don't have to touch any weeds or lake bottom with bare feet!

If you're looking to get away and enjoy the natural beauty of the Northern Poconos, this is the place. Lakefront, private and spacious. We've restored the outside of the chalet and installed a new full bathroom, More recently we replaced entrance doors, carpeting and tile in the great room, hallway and master bedroom. Great for groups or couples, we provide the chalet turn key, with all bedding and linens, equipped kitchen and dry firewood provided.

From our doorstep, you can hike, mountain bike, fish, relax on the dock, kayak, canoe or use our row boat. We are situated in between the Elk Mountain Ski Resort and the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River. We can help you enjoy all the area has to offer through our affiliations with local guides and outfitters: skiing, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, canoeing, tubing, rafting, eagle watching.
