Perfect Relaxation

Questions were answered promptly before booking. Checkin process was smooth. House was clean and we were very happy to just “stay home” and enjoy the pool and views.

Cozy Cottage is a winner.

Perfect size for to of us. Grounds are beautiful. Very quiet neighborhood. Location was good to get to everything in Cape Coral. Highly recommend

Great stay

The house was just as advertised. Very clean and had virtually everything you needed. The location is perfect for sightseeing. There are so many things to do in this area. We went to Sanibel Island, Pine Island, the largest outlet store I have ever been to, flea market and did some Geocaching. The saltwater pool was wonderful and we enjoyed fishing from the dock. We stayed 10 nights and would have loved to stay 10 more

Perfect House and Stay

The house is even better in than the pictures show. The layout is ideal, furniture very comfy, and the house is well stocked with all you need. The pool is well maintained with a great view of the canal. The office was ideal for a get-a-away work from home stay for 3 weeks. The location is so close to anything you need. Please note there is a $20 week electricity allowance. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

Perfect Vacation Home

This home was wonderful! It was better than the pictures that are shown and overall better than advertised. Everything you could want for your time in this house was available and perfect! We loved the serenity of the canal; wonderful sitting on the lanai enjoying our coffee and watching the ducks and hearing the rain birds. It is truly the most relaxing and enjoyable rental that we have ever experienced. We hope to have the opportunity to return soon. Angelica and her staff were the best - so easy to work with!

Great Stay

My husband, myself and another couple stayed at this home from April 5th to 12th. The house is accurately described on-line and it had everything we needed in the kitchen and washer/dryer. The rooms are a good size and the master bedroom has a large walk-in closet and washroom that goes to the pool which is nice during the day so you don't have to walk into the house to use the washroom. The pool area is amazing, beautiful salt water pool and the area is very quiet. We found a very nice grocery store close to the house called "Farmer Joe's" and I would recommend to shop there, the produce, fruit, meat etc is so fresh and the bakery items are delicious. I only had to contact the owner once and she responded quickly. I took photos of the BBQ and meter when we got there and when we left and I emailed them to her. Overall the process was simple. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing stay but if you want to visit attractions in the area they are close by.

would love to stay here again.

Pictures do not the house justice, especially the interior. Family room is bigger than it appears in the pictures. King beds are comfortable (could use better pillows). Kitchen well equipped, but dishwasher probably needs to be replaced in the near future. Salt water pool and lanai are very nice. Virtually spent all of our time outdoors (including meals). We were disappointed that the pool was not solar heated as advertised (it was a victim of Hurricane Ian!!). We felt that we should have been notified prior to our arrival . We were fortunate that the weather was very warm except for a few days which caused the pool temp to drop about 10 degrees as we did not heat the pool electrically (very expensive). We lost about 7 days use of the pool (too cold) until it warmed up again. The electrical allowance should be in the main body of the advertisement as well as in the rental agreement so it is obvious to those looking. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Overall everything was great. There are a few issues that I think could be improved upon. There were very little cleaning supplies when we arrived. For a 2 month stay I would appreciate at least 1 roll of paper towels and maybe some extra toilet paper. There were none. Only the rolls on the toilet holder and no paper towels. I also think that the book should state how to leave the home. We did not wash the sheets just placed them on the washer. Glad that was ok. There should be some pods for washing a couple of loads if they are expecting them washed. I asked for other cleaning supplies and she brought some right away. That was great! The beds were extremely hard. We purchased a mattress topper and found out later that the cleaning lady had one we could have used. Guess we should have asked first. The furniture in the living room is VERY uncomfortable. Not that we spent a lot of time there but it was not good for hanging out on a rainy day. I understand that the owners have had issues with others misusing the thermostat but putting a lock on it seems excessive. Also not being able to use the garage was disappointing. Wish that was more highlighted when we were booking. Overall things were good. Had a great time and super appreciated our cleaning lady. She was wonderful!

Disappointed and Insulted

I really don’t like leaving a negative review on a property, but as someone who reads reviews prior to booking, I feel this review is necessary. Several issues may be worth noting, but the largest, is that we booked a property that advertises an “electric heated salt water pool.” Unfortunately, when we arrived we were told the pool was recently resurfaced and they would be unable to attach the heater until day 5 of our 10 day stay. To make matters worse, the pool went from crystal clear to patchy brown muck in the pool. Upon trying to contact the property manager, we waited over 48 hours for a response. We then contacted the owner, and suggested she refund part of the rental, as we only booked because of a “heated” pool. The response was inconsistent excuses and comments like, “pool heater is not regularly on, as the electric fees are too high.” We tried to explain this is one reason we rented the house, but it didn’t matter at all to owner. Several days after we checked out we received a nasty message about the condition we left the house in, and complaints that we used “all” towels and linens in the house. I’m so glad I took pictures as we left and sent them to her. The house was well in order when we left and I had the photo’s to prove it. All in all, we felt that we were taken advantage of, and misled. So now, you do what you want with this review.

Hy Mary, thanks for your review which is only in parts correct. I explain you very exactly the problem with the pool BUT always can happen something like this and during your booking process YOU NEVER tell me about the importance of the pool heater. Normally our renters use it very less, so when you tell me BEFORE i have had the chance to speak with you about it. Also i was never rude until the time when our cleaning woman sends me the pictures and other details, AND please dont forget that you send me a message and try to press me with a bad review when i dont give you a discount. Also please remeber at 01/30 you send me a message that the pool is with algae growing--- SAME day few hours later you send me a message .....had a great swim tonight....?????

This property was not user friendly

We stayed for eight nights in this property. The home and neighborhood were acceptable, but we had significant disappointment with a number of things about this rental. First, the garage is locked and unavailable to renters. This was not mentioned anywhere in the VRBO listing and we expected it to be available. When the irrigation system turned on in the middle of the night to water the lawn the wind blew recycled waste water all over my vehicle in the driveway. It leaves spots that are very hard to remove. Also, the circuit breaker box is typically in the garage and access in an emergency is impossible when locked out of the garage. There is a lock box over the thermostat preventing us from turning the AC temp up a bit higher. I was cold for eight nights. I have never seen a locked thermostat before in over 30 VRBO rentals spanning 17 years. What happens in January when the heat will be necessary? There is no dresser in the second bedroom. There is only a bed and nightstand and anyone using that room has to put their non hanging clothes either on the floor or in their suitcase on the floor. The third bedroom/office has a closet that is completely locked. The master bathroom has only one towel rod and that is inside the shower. Then there were the little things, like no alarm clocks, no list of what streaming services are subscribed, the blinds don’t open in the second bedroom, broken light switches, and dirty silverware and floors. We won't be back.

Very spacious and comfortable stay

Place is super nice , pool was perfect, had everything I need in the kitchen as I love to cook, I needed to check in a day early and the homeowner made arrangements and got me in. Very pleased with this place, I wish I could have stayed longer

Everything was excellent. Beautiful home and property. Nice dock on the canal with plenty of good fishing to keep me busy. The only thing that was a complaint is that the owner charges for electric. They didn't explain it up front, but in the welcome package and the property manager that met us at check in. They give you a $20/week allowance and read the meter at check in and again at checkout. For our 2 weeks it came to $65 over the $40 allowance. They also collected a $300 (refundable) damage deposit which was not disclosed until check in. Very nice experience except for the 2 hidden fees, that I feel should be disclosed in the property description.

Very nice house but it needs some TLC

We stayed from Saturday-Saturday August 2021 and we had to pay $55 for the electric fee and that was after the $20 electric allowance. I’m not sure if prices are different in Florida but we weren't there very much and when we were, there is a lot of windows so we just used the sunlight instead of turning on lights. So for us having to pay $55 for our electric was surprising. The house was pretty clean over all. We had to wash the dishes before we used them because people before us did not clean them correctly. There was also hair on the towels and hand towels from previous tenants. The shower head looks to be corroding or something because it has some green stuff on it…. And the bathroom wall in the master bath had some red stuff on the wall, I’m not sure if it was blood or what… The master bed is VERY hard and with me being 7 months pregnant my back hurt almost every night. The master bed room also does not get very cold even with the fan on. When we checked in the A/C was set to 80 and it took HOURS to cool down. You are only allowed to turn the A/C down to 74 and it gets so hot in the house. The garbage disposal smelled awful my boyfriend had to clean it out because the kitchen smelled because of it. The pool had a lot of bugs in it so you have to clean it out before getting in it unless you don’t mind bugs. The pool also has some cracks in the wall and green stuff is starting to grow. We had to check in and out with the property manager and I have never had to do that with any other VRBO properties we have rented so I found that a little odd.

Hallo Taylor, we are very sorry to hear that. The A/C was build completly new in April this year so that we can´t understand why it is not working well- we pay 5000 $ for the new one??? We will check it with the Company- thanks . We rent the house now since 2016 but never have such a bad Response- but i think the problem is also, that normally we are IN our house 2 times a year and we do by ourself a lot of things which we saw better than a property Management- because of Covid we are not allowed ( we live in Europe) to travel to our own home since nearly 2 years, and we are very sad about this situation- but we will check the house next week from a friend of us, and we will do everything what is needed to make it better. Vacay

It was so relaxing and peaceful. To have access to your own pool was definitely a plus for me. The whole process for renting this lovely home was efficient. All my questions and/or concerns were addressed by Angelica or property manager Nicole. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone. Me and my family totally enjoyed our stay there

Lovely Home

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was even better in person and had everything we needed to have a relaxing weekend in Cape Coral. Quiet location that's close to everything. We'll be back!

Wonderful Stay!

Beautiful property and a relaxing stay! Everything from booking, check in, and check out was smooth and easy. The house is well stocked with everything we needed and very close to shopping and beaches. It was wonderful to just relax in the pool and enjoy the quiet neighborhood and beautiful view.

Wonderful 30 days of sunshine!!

First time staying here and already booked for next year!! Everything was perfect from check in to check out!! Cozy house was perfect for the two of us ! The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need and done 1st class! Southern exposure with a pool and canal provided fantastic sun filled days and starlit nights!!
