Ubicado al final de una tranquila calle sin salida con una hermosa vista del río Homosassa. Rodeado por 3 lados por agua. 2 muelles, uno en el río y otro resbalón cubierto ubicado en el canal detrás de la casa. Cerca de la cabeza de manantial en agua dulce clara. Nade y flote fuera del muelle o simplemente siéntese y vea pasar los barcos. Interior completamente remodelado en 2016. Estacionamiento para remolque de botes y cerca de supermercados y restaurantes. Camas para 8 con un máximo de 10 personas durante la noche.

Amazing Thanksgiving on the water!

We had an amazing trip. This property was everything advertised and more. The owners thought of everything from a fire pit to the seasonal decorations for Thanksgiving. The home was super clean, super spacious, super stocked with necessities and had views of nature and water on all sides. We took our boat and had an amazing holiday together.

Beyond Expectations!

I don't know where to begin...the hosts, property, house, etc were unbelievable! The house, decor, amenities were perfect! Everything we needed was there. Steve and Cyndi are awesome hosts. They are great with communication and super sweet. Steve did a great job building the home, but Cyndi went above and beyond with the little (and big) touches in the house and the decor. We LOVED everything about the home, the property and the water view. We recommend this property 100%!! It will be more than you expected! Thank you, Steve and Cyndi, for an unforgettable vacation! Looking forward to renting from you in the future.

Best Family Vacation Ever

This house is beautiful, spotlessly clean, stocked with all that you'd ever need! The location is nothing less than perfect, the landscaping is gorgeous (hummingbirds love the flowering shrubs around the back porch). I'm struggling to find words for this review because this was the best family vacation we have ever had, anywhere, and words are failing our feelings. We relaxed right in to river life...swimming, kayaking, fishing, bird watching. The house is so welcoming and with such an open layout and spacious bedrooms and porches front and back. There was more than enough room for the 7 of us! The owners could not have been more communicative or done more to be welcoming to us. We have never 'repeated' a family vacation before, but we have already booked our return for next year. Homosassa, The Point, and Steve and Cyndi are amazing.

Owners Thought of Everything!!

We had such a wonderful stay at The Point! Not only is it a beautiful location, property and house itself but we were so impressed with how well thought out every little detail was about the house. All the comforts of home & then some! There were toiletries in the bathrooms, plenty of clean towels & linens, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, every kitchen appliance you could need....and being that we have a one year old the Pack n Play & Highchair came in very handy! As for the outside equipment there was a grill, kayaks, cornhole, the ring/hook game, tube floats, noodle floats...We felt like it was our own private summer camp! The owners were close by & very friendly and answered any questions we had & gave us some good recommendations on places to eat & visit. This place is a true gem, it was hard to leave! Already booking for next year!

Voted the number one location of all Homosassa River home sights......by our group of five.

It's like being in the center of a nature preserve. Birds everywhere, sea cows swimming by the dock, and jungle-like sounds after sunset. Manatees, great horned owl, gar fish as long as the kayak (I'm a fisherman) along with dozens of bird species were all seen and enjoyed by our crew. Swimming off the dock , snorkeling in the clear water and kayaking were our activities each day. We all agreed that even the multi million dollar mansions did not have a better view than The Point. The home was pristine and well equipped for all of our needs. A small but telling point: the gas grill was spotless and worked flawlessly. If you're able to secure this home for your times...do it. You won't be disappointed. Thank you Cyndy and Steve.

Beautiful

Our Family absolutely loved this property. It's in the best location with amazing views. We had a dolphin swim right under us while floating on a raft next to the dock. The house had everything you need. We will definitely come back.

Paradise at the Point

Wonderful is the best way to describe our stay. The home had everything our family needed to be comfortable. The view was amazing. The hosts were attentive and accessible. Would highly recommend.

home away from home

Perfect at The Point!!

The Point by far exceeded our expectations!! “Home away from home” with the perks of a spectacular view is what comes to mind when describing this awesome rental. Our family of 6 had a fabulous week at the point. Steve and Cyndi put so much thought into this VRBO that you really don’t need to bring much with you because it’s already there!!! And it is oh so clean!! Ideally located for all of your vacation needs. Highly recommend. A+++++++++

This is as an amazing Property that I highly recommend and will definitely be returning to! Extremely friendly owners and extremely clean home. The owners have truly thought of every detail to make my vacation an amazing experience. There is nothing that we needed that this home didn’t have.... and many extras! It was the comfort of a home combined with the experience that felt like a resort guest. Amazing access to the spring, the river and scalloping. Plenty of places to dock our boat and amazing sunrises from the front porch. Can’t wait to go back!

Paradise

Steve and Cyndi were the best hosts for this beautiful property. The house was super clean and perfectly located. The kids enjoyed catching fish off the seawall and we enjoyed sitting on the dock every evening listening to the manatees surface. We will be returning to this wonderful house!

Perfect Location

This home is perfect for sharing family memories. This was our second year enjoying the home and exploring the area. The scalloping was exciting and delicious. The home offers everything necessary for a great family vacation. We really enjoyed floating in the river by the dock and watching all the boats visiting the spring.

Paradise at The Point

Far exceeded our expectations. Awesome location, clean, open comfy house, great local owners eager to help out, very nice neighborhood. Location was great too. Kids and adults all loved it. Well outfitted kitchen (even included some spices) Plenty of cookware and utensils. Quality grill and kitchen. Plenty of kayaks and things to do / entertain. Did I mention the great location?

Totally Perfect Vacation Home

Our family of 8 spent the week scalloping, crabbing, kayaking, paddle boarding and watching the dolphin in the river. Wonderful view of the river. The house is well stocked and has everything you need to relax and enjoy your vacation. The owners are super nice and accommodating. We hope to return for another perfect vacation.

We are both retired firefighters and lived and worked in Orange County (Orlando) Florida until we moved here several years ago. We love the area and live 4 houses down from the rental property.

Great location on the river. Ideal for swimming off the dock and close enough to the head springs to kayak or paddle board. Several restaurants easily accessible by boat and a great place to just sit and watch all of the activity
