This newly renovated waterfront home is a boating and nature lovers paradise. It includes a boat house with attached game room, screened pool, screened wrap around porch, fire pit, private playground and 6 kayaks. All with beautiful views of the river and preserved state lands. Take a kayak ride 20 minutes to the springs to enjoy the manatees and dolphins. Stop in at a restaurant overlooking the water on the way. You will also enjoy the inside of the home with updated appliances, fully stocked kitchen, smart TV’s, board games and stylish furnishings. Please note: It’s necessary to pass under the Halls River Bridge in order to get to the gulf. The bridge has a 6 foot clearance.

This house was perfect for our family of five. It was extremely clean and very accommodating. The beds were extremely comfortable. The pool, the large backyard were ideal! We would definitely stay here again!

Such an amazing property—listing and pictures matched the experience. Thoughtful little touches throughout—extra hygiene items, extra beach towels, furnishings are nice and clean. Host was extremely responsive to any questions.

What a delightful vacation we had! The house was clean and a wonderful spot to relax. We spent hours outside either fishing or swimming. The screened in porch was delightful for a rainy afternoon. The hosts were very responsive to questions. Definitely would return to this lovely spot!

Great location and beautiful property

We enjoyed all the amenities on our trip. My kids enjoyed kayaking on the canal where we saw a manatee, ping pong in the boat house, the large pool, fire pit, and large screened in porch. The home is located close to a grocery store as well.

Great amenities!

We had a wonderful stay and were able to do all of the key attractions in Homosassa and Crystal River. When we weren’t out and about, we really enjoyed the pool, fishing, and the kayaks. The screened in porch and pool area were wonderful, and the lot is very secluded with the wildlife reserve across the waterway.

Peaceful getaway

It was a beautiful vacation house! The boat house was so fun for the kids. The doc overlooking the water was a very peaceful spot! The wildlife was very intriguing and cool to look at. The kayaks were also a great attraction! The kitchen was very well stocked and organized. A lot of time was spent in the pool and lots of memories were made. Overall it was a great spot to vacation.

Our family had a magnificent time in Homosassa at this beautiful home on Halls River. We had 6 of our 7 children with us from ages 19-8, and all enjoyed the many amenities of this property. The house is even better than the pictures, and I greatly appreciated the cleanliness and lack of clutter around house and in the kitchen. We have rented homes in FL for the last 13 years, and this was definitely one of the cleanest, most well-stocked homes with the best accommodations we have ever used. Chris was very responsive and helpful to any and all questions. The home is in a wonderful area that is peaceful, not a lot of traffic, and yet surrounded by all the conveniences needed. We had plenty of restaurants within 2 miles or less to choose from, and shopping at Beall’s was an unexpected treat!! The pool was a highlight as it was perfectly heated and very clean. We swam everyday and enjoyed the enormous screened-in area as well. The beds and pillows were comfy, the lighting was warm and cozy. Just so many details about this house made us feel so at home. We also kayaked 2 days during our stay and were so delighted to see manatees in the springs! What an experience! We were so grateful to have access to plenty of kayaks and life vests, oars, etc, for our whole family to go. My boys also had fun fishing off the dock everyday. All in all, we highly recommend this property to any and all who enjoy relaxing, mixed with sunshine, outdoors, wildlife, and a little adventure.

Wonderful place!

We decided to visit Florida for a long weekend from NC to go swim with Manatees. We wanted a house where we could fish without leaving and the kids could swim and this was the PERFECT house! I will absolutely stay here again. The size of the house for a group of adults and kids was perfect! Proximity to grocery store and restaurants was perfect! We used the kayaks everyday! The beds were EXTREMELY comfortable. I would highly highly recommend! Thank you sooo much

Family vacation, Florida 2025

It was absolutely amazing. Even in the off-season when we stayed there was still plenty of neat restaurants and little bars to visit. I have to recommend the monkey bar. But there are a few other wonderful ones close by. The beach was only a 30 minute drive away. And all of the local springs were amazing to visit. The pool and the screened in porch where the cherry on top of the sundae. My family and I fished the canal caught catfish bluegill, alligator gar, and even something called a jumping mullet. The boathouse was fun even on warm nights, still fans circulating the air. A definite recommend.. This verbo offered very comfortable beds, good, hot showers, and all of the appliances were updated. My family and I had a great time………

Awesome location, great communication with host, fun amenities. We usually just stay with family when we come for Thanksgiving, but decided to stay here this year. So glad we did. It was nice that everyone had their own space (three bedrooms) and tons of common space. We were able to host the family for dinner one night, which was such a nice change. The house has just about everything you could need to be comfortable and cook your own meals. We LOVED having the kayaks available. We took them out everyday. The springs are 2.5 km from the house. Super easy paddle. We saw manatees! The pool is large and has a deep end. We swam every morning and afternoon. So nice that it’s heated. Towels are provided. The primary bedroom’s en suite bathroom opens to the pool so you don’t have to drip water through the house if you’ve got to go while swimming. There’s also a large washer and dryer with detergent provided. Overall, a wonderful week spent in Homosassa. If this house is available next year when we come for Thanksgiving, we’ll most likely try to rent it again.

Heaven in Homosassa

Our stay was wonderful. The property was just as described in the listing. We are very familiar with the Homosassa area and knew that this would be a very convenient location for activities on both sides of the river. The home was neat, clean, and very inviting.The large screened outdoor patio and pool area were a family favorite. The pool is quite large for a private home pool and can easily accommodate 10 or more adults without feeling at all crowded. The kayaks were also a hit. Having 4 one person, and 2 two person allowed our entire family the ability to all kayak together at one time (8 adults and 2 small children). The kitchen was equipped and labeled with everything we needed and a second large refrigerator in the garage allowed great space to keep all beverages cold. We had one small problem, but a message to our host Chris, and it was quickly resolved. Thank you so much for a great experience.

A lovely home away from home with all the amenities

We spent a wonderful week in Homosassa at this incredible property. The house was exactly as pictured, remarkably clean, and well equipped in all areas. The aesthetics were welcoming and the theme centered around relaxation, which is exactly what we wanted.The pool area was complete with floats and seating. When we searched the local area for lounge chairs to add poolside, Chris and her husband promptly delivered them to us to use.The property provided lots of entertainment options. We thoroughly enjoyed the ping pong table in the boat house! We took the kayaks out only once and would have loved more time to use them. Fishing from the dock provided loads of fun even though we had little success. (Plenty of fish, just no luck.) Flora and fauna viewing was spectacular!Proximity of the home to all our planned water activities was ideal, with many restaurant options nearby. The neighborhood felt secure and serene.Finally, Chris was an absolutely wonderful host! She responded promptly to every message, provided local resources when requested, and addressed any issues we encountered immediately. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when we return!

I loved this house! My whole family loved it too! It was everything we wanted - beautifully decorated, spotless, and loaded with everything you could possibly need on vacation!! The pool is gorgeous! The beds are super comfortable. The hosts are amazing; they responded immediately whenever I asked a question. Plus, they provided lots of little extras to make us comfortable there. My family lives in Homosassa, and I've visited many, many times over the years. This rental was by far my favorite, and I will definitely try to get it again next time we go. There is lots of space for guests to spread out, too. I can't say enough about how happy I was there!!
