Tucked away in the Doyle’s Beach subdivision, a slightly quieter alternative to the popular Savage Harbour vacation destination, is the enchanting Jellybean Cottage. It is a cedar log home. Here you can expect to enjoy a relaxing week near the shore with both family and friends. The cottage sleeps 8 people with 4 bedrooms including the Primary bedroom with an expansive ocean view balcony! The downstairs living consists of a well appointed open living, kitchen, and dining area with all the amenities you need in this home away from home.

You might find yourself drawn outside to the cottage’s expansive porch and deck. The screened in porch offers an alternative dining space and lounging area where you can enjoy the breeze. On the deck you’ll find a BBQ for your essential summertime grilling. There’s an outdoor shower where you can rinse off the salt and red sand from the famous PEI North shore which you will find a few minutes walk from the front door.

If you find yourself looking for adventure beyond our comfy cottage, you’ll be happy to find yourself within 20 minutes of one if PEI’s premier golf courses. 30 minutes driving range from most of what PEI has to offer including the island’s capital city, Charlottetown.

Our experience at the Jellybean Cottage was fantastic. Check-in was straightforward and having the lights on for or late arrival was greatly appreciated. Its quiet location close to both beach and Crowbush suited us well. Plenty of seating both indoors and out. Great spot!

The jellybean cottage was a dream on our PEI trip. It was beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. The place looks just like the photos and is just a couple min walk from the beach. They provide many extras with a fully stocked kitchen, many towels and extra toilet paper and paper towel. One thing to note, the air conditioning doesn’t cool the upstairs bedrooms. There were fans provided in each room and you do get a sea breeze but we were still a little hot each night. Overall, we loved our stay!

Great property overall for our families! We struggled a bit with the check in process and getting info we needed but I assume this was a one-off. We loved our time on PEI.

Beautiful cottage on a quiet cottage laneway with a private beach. Immaculately kept, and has thoughtful features like beach chairs, towels, and a wagon to take it all with you. The outdoor shower is the absolute best way to finish your beach day. The screened in porch was perfect for home cooked dinners and BBQs.Can't wait to come back!

Fantastic accommodations. Had everything we needed: towels, cooking utensils, and beach paraphernalia. Lots of seating inside, on the screened porch, and outside. Kids cutlery and dishes were a bonus. A/C unit for those hot days. A 2-3 min. walk to the private beach. Couldn't be much better.

Our every expectation was exceeded at Jellybean Cottage. Strong Internet connection. Kitchen was fully equipped with whatever a chef might need. Beds, couches and chairs were comfortable. Towels (beach and bathrooms) were abundant and good-sized. Screened-in porch was a great place for a child to play. A short walk to the beach ensured that our 2-year-old wasn't able to run out into the ocean. The beach has to be one of the best on the island. Perfect family vacation spot.

We had an amazing stay! The space was perfect for our girls weekend — comfortable, clean, and full of thoughtful touches. We especially loved the variety of indoor and outdoor seating, the outdoor shower (a great bonus after the beach!), and the screened porch where we spent a lot of time relaxing. The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to the beach and in a very welcoming, friendly community. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the host was quick and responsive with any questions we had. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back!

Perfect location for peaceful island life

This cottage could not be more welcoming and perfect. The host is as kind and gracious as can be, it is well appointed and comfortable with beautiful views. As a home base it is also perfect as you are an easy drive from the best beaches in the east or north coast, and the drive from Charlottetown airport is only 30 minutes or so. Note that PEI is an island where many good things are down clay or gravel roads so this is not the trip to rent that low slung sports car. Get yourself a vehicle that can explore and you will be all set. Or have a nice nap on the screened porch for your whole trip and listen to the ocean - all is possible from Jellybean cottage.

Amazing Location and Charming Cottage

The Jellybean Cottage is uniquely appointed in a true beach house style, with all the modern benefits including laundry and air conditioning. Plenty of space between indoor, outdoor and indoor/outdoor (huge screened in porch). I can't recommend this location highly enough for those who want to be close to the beach!

A lovely cottage in a beautiful spot!

We so enjoyed our time at Jellybean Cottage. The cottage was exactly as described and pictured, and our hosts were very easy to communicate with. We very much appreciated the thoughtful touches -- lots of towels, plenty of cookware and dishes, a clothesline, and lots of outdoor seating options. The beach is a quick two-minute walk from the cottage, and is great for walking and soaking up the sun, as well as catching some waves. Great location with easy access to Charlottetown and the St. Peter's Bay area. This cottage was perfect for our family. We stayed for two weeks and could have absolutely stayed longer. We highly recommend Jellybean Cottage, and we will be back for another stay!

We live in the subdivision where the property is located so we are on site to meet your needs. Our properties are not just investments. They are ours and we take great pride in that ownership. We keep them clean and in good repair. We rented out our apartment last year and visitors mostly commented it was a new property. It was built in 2019.

We chose this area because while it is fairly close to all amenities, it is tucked away and quiet.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The beach area is very open with very few people around. A busy weekend might be 50 people on the main beach. Still, if you want quiet, walk another 5 minutes and you are likely to be by yourselves.
