Short walk to the beach

Spacious condo for our party of 6. The property management made check in and check out very easy. Cannot see the Gulf but just a short walk to the water. Plenty of amenities like a pool and fitness room right behind the condo. Wonderful stay.

8th year staying in Maravilla

Another beautiful Destin vacation at Maravilla. Our group of 4 had plenty of room to spread out, and the condo had everything we needed. We love that the beach is such a short walk from the door. We bring our bikes with us and love having a ground floor unit to keep them close and ready to go at a moments notice. It’s also nice that the condo is very close to the pool and spa. Looking forward to next year’s stay!

Spring break

We enjoyed our stay in this Maravilla condo. The kitchen was very well equipped. We did bring additional paper towels, dishwasher soap, surface cleaner, coffee filters and toilet paper. Forgot to bring spices, S&P, etc. The kitchen and living area were updated and nice. Ice maker worked great! The floor plan was great as my teenagers had their own half bath that was also connected to the shared shower. Great location as far as the beach and the heated pool. We walked to restaurants. The beach chairs set up was terrific! Really appreciated that service! Overall, a great stay!

Great Location

The property is located just a short distance from the beach which is absolutely breath taking. The problem is the unit we stayed at was very dated. We also had to re-clean the unit upon arrival since it was poorly cleaned by housekeeping. Lastly, doing let the pictures fool you. There furniture is the same but the every was old and worn out. If you plan on resting, don't because you wont get a goon night sleep.

Probably would t stay in this unit again

The carpet was dirty. The baseboards and corners in the bathroom were dirty as well. The WiFi wouldn’t work during our entire visit, I contacted them several times a day about it and it never got fixed. The bathroom sink drain was clogged but they did come fix that. The location was nice. Short walk to the beach. Customer service could have been a lot better.

Vacation Nightmare

Roaches, filthy, animal urine all over the curtains, rugs and bed skirt. Air filter and dryer lint screen packed with filth and lint. Cabinets were dirty, loose floor tiles, extra floor tile stored under bed making for a hazard. Will not stay in this condo again. Will go with another property management company next time. We have been coming to Maravilla for 12 years and this was the absolute worst stay we have ever had.

Condo was veryclean,comfortable and up to date. Loved being close to the beach although we would have loved having a beachside view. Loved that there was a bath and a half.

I had a problem keeping my golf cart in the property after I checked to make sure I could bring it. That put stress on the trip

Great location

Condo was clean and we liked the convenience of not having to carry our umbrella and chairs to the beach. The location was a very short walk to the beach. Our communication with southern rental was friendly and responsive on an issue that I failed to read further into when booking. The condo had nice starter things like dish soap, a dish rag, bars of soap, trash bag and a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. I would love to stay again but the mattress was a big issue for us. The mattress pad did not correct the fact that a new mattress is needed in our opinion. We had a great time! Thank you!!

Family vacation

Pros: The location for this rental is a prime spot! It’s super convenience to access the beach and it came with beach chairs rental(2) per rental. Cons: our code for the door did not work so we had to sit around while calling the rental company. They fixed it pretty quickly but it still delayed our check in. The hallway lights did not work, so we put in a work order for it. They said they will be there on Thursday but did not come until friday. And we check out Saturday. So it was kind of a hassle for us. Although customers were very efficient, a lot of things were delayed. I should have looked at the listing more carefully, but there are a lot of things missing at the rental comparing to most places I’ve ever stayed it. So basic stuff life shampoo, dishwasher soap, oil, salt and peppers are not provided! So don’t forget to bring those things! Great locations overall!

Over all great stay

We enjoyed our stay as always. However the beach boy Matt sucks. He is very rude and salty. Would tell us something different everyday about beach seating. It would be nice though if you got to beach first you could sit wherever you wanted as long as those seats belonged to the condo you were staying at. Or at least put it out to the guest that if you want a good beach seat to get there at 730 in the morning. I would also recommend for the amount of money that you pay to stay there to at least put a couple trash bags for your guest. You only get one and if you have never stayed there you wouldn’t know that you have to bring that. Upgrade the broom to a swifter sweeper with a couple swifter pads. Other than that and a salty beach boy we had a great stay. Would definitely recommend these condos to anyone.

Southern Vacation Rentals was terrible

The condo was perfect. The experience booking through Southern was horrible. We exchanged texts with their service multiple times in which they confirmed we’d have early check-in; we get there and the room’s not ready. They claimed they somehow had no record of ONLY the texts they sent confirming the early check in - very odd considering they had everything else. Dealing with their people was even worse…very confrontational and unprofessional even though from the beginning we tried to be polite and resolve the situation. We ended up having to sit around for 4 hours with a dog in the heat with nowhere to go on a packed Memorial Day weekend. When we finally did get into the condo, there was a half eaten Reeses on the ground. Thankfully out dog didn’t get it. And lastly, when we reached back out the following day to see if they would give us some sort of compensation for the issues, a new lady we spoke to again was confrontational and rude. They finally agreed to refund us one night of our stay, and yet we had to call back again the following week since for some reason they didn’t do it the first time. I would recommend to the owner of the condo to never use Southern management again.

Perfect for small family

The property is close to beach and the sidewalks along the beach make for a nice walk in the evening. Condo is perfect for a small family. Enjoyed having two bathroom areas. Just one shower though! Clean throughout. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
