Moose Meadows Lodge by Mountain Vacation Lodging is an extraordinary luxury home with 3 different living areas, multiple outdoor spaces, a chef's kitchen, a theater room, a billiards room and bar, six bedrooms, and seven bathrooms. The main Great Room features 30 foot ceilings, a double sided huge stone fireplace, massive panoramic windows, and a dining room table that seats 10. The lodge is situated on a hilltop overlooking the valley and right in between the ski mountain and downtown Steamboat ! ITS AMAZING !!!!!!!!
This Luxury Home recently underwent a complete renovation and continues to see annual upgrades, making it one of the most extraordinary rental homes in the Steamboat area. It has 4 different living areas, 2 large decks, a nice grassy yard, and a plethora of beds sure to work for any group. You could hold a film screening or watch the big game in the huge Home Movie Theater, which features a 100 inch screen and surround sound. You could cue up some billiards in the Game Room, which also features a wet bar, HDTV, fireplace, lounge furniture, and views of the ski slopes. The Great Room is such a large beautiful space that you'll be able to have a large dinner for everyone together in one space. It features 30 foot ceilings, a double sided fireplace, multiple lounge areas, and multiple tables for dining or games. The kitchen would be over the top were this home not designed to be ideal for large groups. There are 4 ovens, a massive professional gas range with flat top griddle, an extra large sub zero fridge, even the granite counters are double the normal thickness! Inside the beautiful custom cabinetry, you'll find plenty of dish ware, top notch pots and pans, everything you could want and more. There are even multiple coffee makers and carafes ready to get everyone going in the morning. Perhaps the best thing about this home are the views. You will enjoy incredible views of amazing sunrises, sunsets, Steamboat's renowned Alpenglow, and have elevated views of the multiple annual fireworks displays! Perched on the hillside in between Downtown Steamboat Springs and the Mountain Village / ski area base, this beautiful home is convenient to both centers of activity! The home has parking for 6 vehicles, and the free city bus picks up and drops off within 100 yards of the home. There is also a hiking and biking trailhead about 150 yards from the home which connects to lots of other tails and loops within the Rita Valentine Park. ** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit. ** Cleaning Fees & Lengthy Rental Periods - The standard cleaning fee quoted as part of any booking is for the final cleaning, which is to be performed after the rental period has ended. For guests who are booking a lengthy stay of more than one week, a mid stay-cleaning fee equal to the final cleaning fee may apply for the second week, third week, and so on.
