Terrible location

This property is not in a good neighborhood. We felt very unsafe. We left a day early.

Unable to use one of the showers

Main reason we picked this cabin was because it had 2 restrooms. With mostly women and girls this was tough because we were unable to use of them due to a leak maintenance came to check. Left a message for GM and have yet to get a call back. We pay so much money to get what we want to enjoy our stay then this happens? They were unable to move us to another property. So all of us had to use one shower, huge inconvenience! Location good, overall the cabin was ok. It was clean.

Not Bad At All

This was a last little trip before school starts and it was a great little cabin to stay in. Plenty of room and was nice and clean. I wasn’t aware of how steep and shallow the stairs were to the bedrooms and my husband had a hard time going up and down. The king bed was comfy but the sheets were a little stiff, I’d rather have softer ones or use some Downy when washing. The kitchen and living area was good, although we didn’t cook. There were plenty of towels which was nice. Not bad overall but probably won’t stay because of my husbands disability and steep stairs.

Making memories

My family and I had a great time. Cabin is just as described and has a beautiful mountain side view aswell as deer roaming by the property. Equiped with everything you need to have a good time. It snowed when we went which made for great memories.

Momma bear cabin

Nice but could use some work ceiling fan in master had only low speed. blinds broken in several windows ,deck needs major work to be kid / pet safe. Couches had deep sink holes and were uncomfortable I camp and sleep on ground so if it was uncomfortable to me....! Well use your imagination

Affordable with great view

The cabin is great for a get together with friends. Sat on the deck every morning and night soaking up the cool weather. WiFi signal wasn't strong enough to work remotely like I'd hoped. Refrigerator is not hooked up to make ice or water, so bring your own ice. Those stairs are STEEP to the second floor!!! Overall, very affordable and we had a great time! My daughter LOVED all the deer and elk we saw pass by in the neighborhood!

Home away from home.

Stepping inside the cabin felt like home but once you step outside you realize your in another world. The view was breath taking and the cabin was very cozy, and comfortable.

We have used Condotel at Ruidoso at least 5 times and this cabin was not suitable for seniors

It's overpriced. I had to crawl to get to my side of the bed and the steps of the stairs are narrow and steep.

What a great cabin! It was a cozy spot up on the ridge with an excellent view of the surroundings

Our kids enjoyed the stay at Mama Bears' due to the accommodations, mainly WiFi, as well as a Blu-ray DVD player. I think the best part of staying at Mama Bears' was that we where visited each morning by wild deer. This gave my children and I, a real great experience to enjoy and appreciate nature. My girlfriend was totally impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin. She also noted that is was a fully equipped kitchen and she greatly appreciated the washer and dryer readily available. We are looking forward to our next visit to Ruidoso and staying at this great little cabin. Loved it!! Thank you.

Sketch location, not as described

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very run-down area. Very busy Tow-truck driver lives across the street, making many runs through out the night. Near-by yards littered with car parts & old tires. Streets dark & in poor condition & unsafe, especially at night. Was described as walking distance to town, shops, etc. however, would not recommend doing this. We were very nervous about leaving our car there at night. The condo itself was very nice & clean. We just cannot recommend due to the area / location.

Great Escape from San Antonio

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our eight day stay very much. Even it was warm for Ruidoso during the day, the nights were great. Much better than the 100"s plus in Texas. When we checked in the TV was not working properly and we needed additional ice trays. One call to the Condotel office and someone arrived within a few minutes to make the adjustments. Great service throughout out stay. The cabin layout is very nice. A bath on both floors, a well lighted stairwell with a substantial hand rail. Great water pressure throughout. Very nice deck. A level parking space leading to the back door made it easy to load and unload. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Great Relaxing Stay

We enjoyed Mama Bear's Den, a great location, close to alot of neat places, like shopping, food, museum and casinos. The surrounding area was breath-taking. We loved it. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of our rental house was in a good area. However, the stairs inside the home were so steep that you had to bear climb tour way upstairs and turn your feet sideways when coming back down. We slid down a few stairs before realizing to turn our feet sideways one step at a time. We love Condotel's vacation homes but this one is marked off our list to stay in again. The house was super clean and cozy aside from the stairs issue.
