Maravillosa casa de madera de cedro en el lago Shoecraft (junto al lago Goodwin) cerca del punto Smokey en Stanwood, WA. 3 dormitorios, 1 baño con cocina completa, estufa de leña, terraza, muelle, 100+ playa sin banco. La casa cuenta con mucho estacionamiento, hermosas vistas, excelente natación, esquí acuático, deportes acuáticos y pesca. El lago está lleno cada año de truchas y cuenta con una excelente pesca. Incluido en el alquiler hay un bote de fibra de vidrio Columbia de 11 pies (similar a un Boston Whaler), dos kayaks, un SUP y muchos juguetes acuáticos e inflables, así como krocket y otros juguetes para el césped. Tengo un par de cañas de pescar y también algunos equipos, pero si eres un pescador con mosca serio, querrás traer los tuyos. Dos de las habitaciones tienen camas queen o king y la tercera tiene dos juegos de literas. Country Store está justo al final de cualquier cosa que no haya traído (y tiene el mejor equipo de pesca), así como un excelente restaurante, el Paddle Pub. También a poca distancia del casino Tulalip y del centro comercial Seattle Premium Outlet en Marysville. Nuevo 100GB WIFI (1/2019).

The kitchen was a good size. A little dated but nothing i didnt know beforehand. Could use a little better kitchenware. Hot tub was clean and we enjoyed it.

I will start with the positives first and most are simply parroting what others have said. Mark was a great communicator and replied to all my messages (I tend to over communicate) promptly. The location and view were wonderful. The amenities are as described and offer plenty of fun on the lake. The hot tub was great, every night wind down with a glass of wine and tons of stars. The home itself was clean, well appointed and comfortable. I walked around barefoot the entire week and my feet were never dirty. The one bed we used was very comfortable and the room darkened nicely. The water pressure was very good and hot water was quick and plentiful. Now the few things that could use some work. There were a couple spongy boards on the deck leading to the grill. The bathroom is small and with my shoulders I was not able to sit squarely on the toilet. The shower surrounded had some mildew stains and missing caulk(easy fixes when time allows).

Perfect location. Felt secluded yet was close to everything with amazing water access and fun lake toys. We somehow got a workout despite feeling lazy!!

Wonderful setting. Very relaxing annd we had a great time. Check-in was simple and Mark (Owner) was responsive if contacted. The location on the lake is perfect and the access to the paddle boards, etc. definitely added to the fun. Only had two “issues”. The house was very hot. As we spent most of the time outside, this wasn’t a huge issue. The other small thing is the deck and dock need some TLC. Both had boards that I stepped on that felt like they were close to giving way, as well as the picnic table bench. Neither of these things really lowered our experience, but should be looked at. Overall great experience and would book again.

we love this place. lots of water toys and a boat to fish in and just cruise the lake. the house is well supplied with everything you need and then some. this is the second year we have stayed here and hope to get it next year too.the location is just about 20 miles from our homes, which makes it easy to just come up for the day....

Beautiful and peaceful setting on Lake Ki. The house was cozy with a great cabin vibe,and the back porch was great for eating outside! Our father/grandfather really enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren paddling about on the lake in the canoes/kayaks provided. The host, Mark was always good at communicating.Thank you so much!

Quiet get away.

Nice place. Write up matches reality in all areas. Cozy, clean relaxing. Only caution is that ALL rugs need to be secured down. Easy clean up rules. Great stay thanks.

The host is great at communication and very responsive. The host and the property location are a 5/5.Unfortunately, the bathroom is very small. There is no surface to place anything on and the shower was very slippery. We smacked our heads on the cabinet over the toilet a few times. The house has the potential to be great. It needs to be leveled, painted, the deck needs to be sanded and painted, the picnic table does as well. It was really rough. There are no gates on the deck for animals and children. The landscaping needs to be addressed. Lots of weeding and care of the bushes around the home is needed.Again, the host and location are great. This may be fantastic for some families, it just did not work for us. You will receive great instructions on checking in and the host is very quick to respond. The lake and lake accessories are great!

Great little lakeside house

We didn't utilize the best feature, the lake, since it was cold and rainy during our stay, but we enjoyed the hot tub and hung out on the deck and in the living room. Bedrooms are fine for sleeping, nothing fancy. Kitchen was well-stocked, having everything we needed in terms of gadgets.

Awesome spot for a weekend away!

This was the perfect place for two small families and a dog to get away from the city for the weekend. Lots of space, lovely hot tub and deck overlooking the lake, vintage cabin vibes, quiet surroundings, and everything we needed to cook a few meals and relax. Close enough to see the tulips for an afternoon, but we easily could have stayed at the house all weekend and had a lovely time. We would definitely return!

Most Perfect Summer Cabin

This is a great wholesome place to spend a weekend or more! We had an amazing time and were lucky enough to be able to use the boating and water sports equipment. I’ll definitely be looking at booking this cabin again!

This house was so nice and clean. It was older than I expected inside. But, for being so aged, it was very clean. No dust or cobwebs. Not urine stains or pet fur. It was very clean, which made me so happy. Thank you so much for the beautiful use of your home!!!

Great place on the lake

Well equipped older home on a beautiful property on Shoecraft lake. It had everything a group of guys needed to relax and unwind. Communication was good, we were very pleased with our stay.

Beautiful property. Needs upkeep. NOT handicap accessible - AS ITIS ADVERTISED!

The house is beautiful - love the rustic charm. The view and being on the water was amazing. The house and property are clean but not maintained. The picnic table, deck and dock need to be sanded and restained, there is paint peeling off the exterior of the house in several locations, there is a hole in the floor covered by a throw rug at the back door and the railing that goes down the stairs to the water is loose. There is no lighting outside front or back - not even on the stairs. There are planter boxes that are falling apart and growing weeds. Also the property is listed as handicap accessible which is not true. There are two steps to get into the house unless you go through the bunk bed room then you have to go through a narrow hall to get to the main area (however, once we unlocked and opened the French doors we weren't able to get them to lock again). My wheelchair would not fit down the hall or in the bathroom 😡. When we got there we didn't have a code to get in. Called, texted and emailed the host. No response. Took an hour and a half for vrbo to get it for us. The host called two days later. Said I couldn't reach him because he was out of the country - need a contact person for emergencies if you aren't going to be available. Despite the lack of upkeep it is a nice property and we had a good time. Seems like for the price it would be in better shape.

Great Place to Play

We love this property. Short walk to lake we leave our paddleboards blown up all week and is fun to just walk out and go. We have been coming here for 6 years. Close to everything so other family can come play for the day.

Happy impression

Our family had a great time paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing and swimming. I think we took advantage of every amenity!! Lovely setting and mostly quiet end of lake. We’d definitely rent it again!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This property features many things to do without leaving, but if you need too everything you could possibly want is close at hand. The house was built in 1955, it is a Padabone log home (similar to Lindal Cedar Homes), it has lots of original charm and Mid Century feel. It is close enough to Seattle but far enough away to be removed from the stress and noise. The lake warms up fast in the summer and the swimming is fantastic. The lake is stocked with trout each year so the fishing is great.
Have an incredible shopping experience at the Seattle Premium Outlet mall that has over 120 well-known outlet stores. Eat dine out and enjoy a night of fun at Tulalip Resort Casino. Both are a short 15 minute drive from our lake house. Near Warm Beach in Stanwood, WA. Take a day trip to Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Only 2 hours away. Enjoy the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in April.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

An 11 foot boat, 6 person spa,, 2 kayaks, 3 SUP, and inflatable water toys are all standard. No bank waterfront makes it ideal for kids and pets of all ages. The water is warm enough to swim early in the season due to the relatively shallow depth. Much more quiet and private than it's sister Lake Goodwin. Large deck with a new hot tub and large dock to fish from. The lake is stocked with trout every year.
