Beautiful spacious home in great quiet locationconvenient to Chincoteague and other areas. Many things to do and see. Great for pets. Indoor pool available but we did not use.

Beautiful Home

The home and yard were beautiful. The house had all the comforts of home - hand soap, shampoo, spices, etc. We had a great week!

Acceptable

The tv had been changed so needed passwords and when reached out to owner they were not aware. Also carpet had pet stains. Counters needed to be washed before using. They have offered reciprocity for this which is very nice. It is a beautiful home and plenty of room.

Excellent!

Our stay at the dog-friendly family retreat near Chincoteague Bay was great! The home was clean and had everything we needed, and the central AC was much appreciated during the warm afternoons. The three bedrooms offered ample room for our family of four, and we loved being able to travel with our pup, who also loved the house. She especially enjoyed gazing out the living room windows and greeting the deer passing through the back yard!The location was great with it being a short drive to Chincoteague Island where we checked out the local stores and restaurants, as well as the beautiful beach. Ocean City MD with its boardwalk was also an easy trip, and we saw some of the famous ponies when stopping by Assateague Island! Our host was awesome with quick responses to any question as well as helping with the amenities passes which allowed us to use the beautiful indoor and outdoor pools!Overall this was a great spot and would definitely stay here again.

Exactly What We Needed

We are thrilled with our stay this past weekend. The house was charming, clean, wonderfully decorated and extremely comfortable. We did not bring our dogs, but the house had a huge double dog crate that would have held both our large fur babies.We were able to enjoy cocktails on the deck and the kitchen was stocked with all the tools needed to make an amazing Sunday breakfast! I was even greeted by a family of deer on Monday morning while sipping my coffee!The location was great! We were able to get to Chincoteague and Snow Hill MD within 25 minutes, so we were right in the middle of all of our destinations. The only thing that would have made this stay perfect was if the amenities were open such as the pool, and not having a grocery/convenience store nearby meant we had to drive to Pocomoke City to get food and staples. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat....and next time bring our children and dogs!
