¡Un paraíso para los observadores de aves! Esta casa junto a la bahía de 1500 pies cuadrados ofrece maravillosas vistas de la Bahía de Galveston y los humedales para observar la vida silvestre y las aves. Ubicado en la popular subdivisión de Terramar Beach, se encuentra a poca distancia en coche de la playa.

Esta casa cuenta con un televisor de pantalla plana de 42 pulgadas en la sala de estar, pisos de madera y muebles renovados en toda la casa.

El vecindario familiar ofrece una piscina comunitaria a la que tendrá acceso durante su estadía en Sandy Hook. Tenga en cuenta que la piscina está abierta en temporada durante los meses de verano. (Mayo - septiembre).

Después de un día de diversión bajo el sol, disfrute de la zona de la planta baja, ideal para cenar a la parrilla, entretener o ver las hermosas puestas de sol de Galveston.

Los perros son bienvenidos en Sandy Hook y requieren una tarifa adicional no reembolsable de $ 100 por perro. Hay un límite de dos (2) perros con un límite de peso combinado de 50 lb.

Ubicación: a 2 minutos de la playa; 18. 3 millas en coche hasta la calle 61; 21. 4 millas en coche a 25th & Strand; 17. 5 millas de Moody Gardens / Schlitterbahn Waterpark.

You should cut the grass, kill the roaches, fix the microwave it doesn't work. Put a lift in, add more outdoor seating.

Clean and comfortable!!

We would have loved to have a fence like the property next door for our dog! that would have been amazing. Everything was great! just a warning about a person that is at the pool all the time, she’s not the nicest, a little nosy and was bothering me and my family. Apart from that fiasco at the pool that just made us uncomfortable we loved everything about the house!

Quiet location nice house

Overall the stay was very nice, the property is in a very quiet subdivision that is walking distance to the beach (across the main road). We enjoyed watching birds on the bayside from the back porch.

Wonderful home

We really enjoyed our stay at Sandy Hook. We are a family of 6, and there was more than enough room for all of us! The house was very clean, we had everything we needed. The description was very accurate and the communication on what items we would need to furnish ourselves (bathroom and kitchen items) was very clear! A quick drive or walk to the beach, restaurants and stores were close by. We would definitely return !!

We really enjoyed our stay. Only thing that would have improved it would have been a bit more in the way of kitchen supplies. Trash bags, cooking oil etc.

Relaxing escape

Nice house. We enjoyed being able to get away from the hustle of the city. It has a great unobstructed view of the bay (and sunsets). The good: big open space (for the qty of people they allow) new washer/dryer and dishwasher. Spiral staircase in back is handy. Lots of kitchen utensils. Giant master shower. The bad: However...everything is a little broken. The floats in the toilets all stick so either they won't fill with water or they won't stop filling. Constantly have to adjust. The floor tiles in the kitchen pop under your feet. The sink faucet has a broken selector button. No garbage disposal. Lighting under the house is poor compared to other rentals. And, very surprisingly...the master has no closet. I realize this seems like a small complaint, but I had to leave our vacation for one day to go to a funeral for a friend and there was nowhere to hang my suit. It was, absurd. When you need to hang something a dresser doesn't help.

Fun on Galveston Island

Family of 6 with adults & teens stayed comfortably. Fairly clean. Comfortable beds. There was some construction going on with the new house next door during our stay. Three additional house were added west of this house since listing picture was taken. Was not able to walk to the bay due to the land behind the house being private property. Had trouble with the master bath toilet, called property office, toilet fixed right away. Would stay again!

Relaxing stay

Sandy Hook is clean, bright and open making it easy to enjoy the view of the bay, We spent most of our time on the back patio relaxing, playing board games and bird watching. Great location for a fun, relaxing getaway.

Relaxing weekend getaway

We love the west end of Galveston and this home featured lovely bay-view sides of the island for bird watching and very close convenient access to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Good getaway

It's really great getaway for the weekend. The space was clean overall. It had a good working kitchen a beautiful patio. The space is comfortable. The only thing I think we had trouble with was but because it was pet friendly there must be a lot of cat dander. Unfortunately my husband is allergic so we ended up having to leave early.

Beautiful view from back deck, but missing some basics.

Overall, we were happy with our stay. The house was clean and in a great location. We saw from other reviews that the dryer didn't work properly, and this was still the case. We tried to dry four average beach towels and it took three cycles through to get mostly dry. We were disappointed that there were no bars of soap for the bathrooms (the contract stated that there would be). Be aware that there really are no additional supplies stored in the house. Per the rental agreement we knew this, but there really was no soaps, paper towels, hand soap, or additional trash bags. Be sure to bring your own. If you plan on cooking, be sure to bring everything you'll need - no salt, pepper, oils, etc either. Being a VRBO regular, we were surprised that none of these items were here.
