Amazing House!

This was the second time we have stayed at this lovely home. It is extremely well maintained, clean, and has everything you could need to make your beach vacation a dream come true. Its location is perfect and having an elevator makes unloading your car a breeze! We cannot recommend this house enough.

Highly recommend

Property is much better than the pictures. Great views of the beach and waves. Short walk to the quiet beach with no cars allowed on the beach. Elevator and outdoor shower are a huge plus. They did an awesome job decorating. It’s very beachy and extremely comfortable.

Wonderful home

We stayed in town for my daughters UTMB graduation and took the whole family. We had my mother, who uses a wheelchair but is able to walk short distances, and it was great. The home was wonderful! The views were incredible, very clean, and spacious. Everything we needed was there.

Great beach house!

One of the nicest VRBO's I have stayed in. Super great location (30-sec walk to the beach), well-stocked house (cooking items, beach things, toiletries). The kitchen area is really nice and we spent most of our time hanging out there. They have cable for watching sports and good internet. Check-in was a breeze. It's expensive but really good quality.

This beach house is FABULOUS! We have stayed in numerous rented beach homes in several states, and this one really is top-notch. The property was spotlessly clean, and the recent remodel is beautifully done. The cul-de-sac location offers great views, and you are only a hundred feet from the sand, with no thru-traffic. Beach chairs, towels, and even a boogie board were provided. Fantastic!The home is very well appointed, with plentiful dishes, pots, pans, silverware, etc. Having a washer and dryer is great even for a short trip, as you can keep the kids' bathing suits clean and dried for their next outing to the beach. We were able to prep meals and enjoy family time in the spacious kitchen and dining area, and then retire to the living room to play table games and watch sports on the large television. The elevator is a game-changer if you have elderly or disabled people in your party. My older parents were able to visit while we were there, and the elevator made an otherwise-impossible visit easy for them. Note that the home is split-level -- even with the elevator, there are three steps or so between the living area and the kitchen/dining area. If you are wheelchair-bound, this still poses a challenge, but for people who are less mobility-limited and just can't handle going up and down multiple flights of stairs per day, the elevator in this house makes the trip a joy. The house and hosts are great, and we fully intend to return. Highly recommended!!

The Best

Our family that included 4 generations spent a week in this property and it was the best experience we have had in a property. It exceeded every expectation. It is perfect for a large family with plenty of space for everyone. It is only steps from the beach making restroom breaks, snacks, and breaks super easy. The outdoor areas are expansive and comfortable. We will be back! I cannot say enough good things about the host and the property. Just book it! You won't regret it.

Girls weekend

We are 10 friends who have an October weekend each year. We’ve gone all over Texas but this Galveston trip was the best! This home is so lovely and welcoming. Beautifully decorated and the kitchen/dining area was amazing…you certainly don’t mind washing dishes while looking at the beach! The weather was perfect and October in Galveston is the best! We’ll be back at this location next year. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Beautiful house but not for 2 eighty year old people. One was a DAV a

1. Bidet broken and leaked into bathroom. 2. TV’s 1. Shut down after a half hour and the other prodcasted in Spanish. 3. As a DAV the 3 steps were a disaster for me 4. Bathroom light blew out. Very dark and no one to help locally.. at least 10 ft ceiling 5. No water toys like other pirates beach rentals. 6. No change of linens for a 3 week stay. 7. No labels on light switches. Very confusing 8. Owners do not live nearby and no management company locally. 9. No instruction book in a huge house. 10. For the nightly rate for 3 weeks off season, we found the price high.

Family Getaway

This is just a beautiful property! There are so many different seating areas, inside and out - perfect for families. We would absolutely recommend this property. The elevator was a great plus.

You Won't Find A Better House

This property is even better than described, What you see is exactly the way it looked. And the cleaning crew must be the best on the beach! The house was pristine; as good if not better than a 5 star hotel. And all of the extra touches...wine cooler, charging stations, ice maker, washer/dryer on 2nd and 3rd floors, cable TV everywhere, stocked kitchen. And what a kitchen! Incredible view while you cook and every utensil and appliance you could possibly need. We have rented many many beach houses and stayed in the best Galveston hotels, but nothing compares with the week we spent here. AND DID MENTION THE ELEVATOR THAT WORKS! A Hugh space downstairs with hammocks, swinging chairs, table, grill and a great outdoor shower. And views, views, views everywhere. We are ready to go back, and hope we have an opportunity. This is really an exceptional property.

Best Ever!!

Our family has been renting homes in Galveston each summer for almost 40 years and this may be the best accommodations we have ever had. It was clean, updated, comfortable and very roomie for family gathering. Even though the property was not beach front, it was situated in a way that took full advantage of the beach views. We didn't even notice that there was a house in front of us. Easy easy beach access. Lots of outdoor seating on 2 decks and underneath. We cooked every meal and the kitchen was amazingly well stocked and easy to navigate. The only thing I couldn't find was a lemon zester : ) I truly can't say enough about this home and we will very likely try to rent it again if the Fetts will have us. P.S. The neighbors were very nice too.

Fabulous in every measure!

Snuck in a three night stay for my 90-year-old mother and this was a perfect escape for our pleasure! Everything was so well appointed and the home is so closely located to the coast… The elevator was perfect… Everything was wonderful! We will be back!!!

Perfect beach getaway!!

What a great vacation home.,It’s as beautiful as the pictures ! My aunts(85 years young) are still talking about our ladies family weekend getaway to the beach. We spent time laughing, talking , cooking and sitting on the deck just enjoying the serenity of the the waves. The house was spacious, well stocked, clean and just plain perfect! Thank goodness for that elevator!! I would stay here forever if life would allow it. Thank you for sharing your home with us. I hope to return soon.

Wonderful long weekend escape

Beautiful home with great views and beach access. The owners make sure the house feels like a home away from home. They also make communication very easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
