Located in Building B at the Amelia Surf & Racquet Club, High Surf offers breathtaking penthouse oceanfront views.

This renovated condo features two oceanfront bedroom suites with balconies. The Master bedroom has a king bed, a 12' wall of glass, an oceanfront corner balcony, custom walk-in shower, 42" flat screen TV, and room-darkening shades.

The second suite has two full beds, a large flat screen TV, and a private balcony. The living room provides panoramic ocean views with two sliding glass doors opening to the balconies, a 55” Samsung Smart TV, and Xfinity Blast! internet.

The kitchen is well-equipped with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a full-sized washer and dryer. Enjoy shrimp boats, sunrises, and the fresh ocean breeze from this luxurious condo.

Nice unit - incredibly bad communication

Lovely unit however we have stayed at ASR for 30+ years and have NEVER had such a problem with communication with an owner/lessor before as we did with Mock's Amelia Vacations. The link on VRBO to communicate did not work and the phone number provided was sent to voice mail most of the time. The phone was not answered on the weekend at all. Elisha Mock told me that she "could not possibly answer the phone on the weekend otherwise she would never have any time off." It took multiple (13) phone calls to clear up a credit card that had to be updated and to rent the place for additional days after we were first offered the rental for additional time by Mock's Amelia Vacations. We love the Amelia Surf and Racquet condos but would not rent one again from Mock's Amelia Vacations.

Stunning View and Convenience

One of the best views from any room! You can watch sunrise, get a close up view of pelicans flying by, or watch the Osprey fish and bring almost right to your windows all from your balcony or inside from huge window! Even a view of ocean from the master bath! Nicely stocked and beautifully furnished! Clean! Easy access to pool and Beach. Will be back to stay again!!!

July 4th holiday

Everything was wonderful. The left cabinet door under the sink was unhinged upon arrival. It needs reattached before there is damage. Not much cooking in the unit so it wasn't an issue..

Amazing view, comfy bes

The unit was nice and the beds comfortable, but the building elevators could use some attention and the property manager could provide a few more hangers in the closet and some backup tools of toilet paper, but everything else was fine.

MANY ISSUES - NO RESPONSE FROM MANAGEMENT COMPANY

We got in late and the unit was a mess. There are places where tiles are cracked or chipped - dirty grout. Cut toe wide open. Master bed sheets had stains we had to wash n dry after a long drive here. Spatulas and some silverware dirty had to run everything through dishwasher. The carpets are stained and frayed and dirty. Master closet door sticks Tare in blind in bathroom Buttons on washer/dryer worn Hole in ceiling in full bath by vent Furniture was stacked in middle of living room Mold in Bathroom Last renters dirty cloths still in laundry basket and under bed This is frustrating as we paid top dollar for this place. I'm recovering from cancer and this was very disappointing. The Owner of Micks Elsiha is a liar. Look at other reviews on various sites she has ignored them as well. She assured us of a refund and when credit card company called her she refused. GO ELSEWHERE - DONT DEAL WITH THESE CROOKS..

Beautiful Views

This is a very nice property in a great location. The views of the beach and ocean are gorgeous. The only negative is that it could use some updating and minor repairs. I would definitely recommend this property.

B 179 High Surf Bliss

The unit was excellent and everything was just as described. The views are outstanding from all three (3) water facing rooms and not having anyone above you or next to you is a real bonus for making the unit very quiet. The facility with pools, bathrooms and beach access has everything you need for a great vacation to the island. There was a problem with one sliding door to a patio being unusable due to a broken handle upon arrival but there was a note on it apologizing for the inconvenience and advising us not to use it. We could still get on this balcony from the second slider in the master bedroom otherwise I am sure it would have been fixed right away. We will stay here again if we return to Amelia Island.

A Room with a View

The B-179 condo is very nice. The master bedroom mattress was very comfortable. We didn't use the second bedroom so can't comment on them. I hope the dining table gets fixed for the next guests; it is missing a foot and wobbles back and forth. Both doors going from the main living area to the two balconies were not useable; one was missing a handle and the other was off track. Both balconies could only be accessed through the bedrooms. The washing machine sounds like it needs maintenance; it is incredibly loud but works. The condo is decorated nicely and everything you need is there. It was a very nice clean condo but for the price, I doubt I would rent it again. Several people at the pool who were staying on the 7th floor the same week seemed to pay much less for similar accommodations. We rented through VRBO which might not be a good idea. Mock Vacation Rentals - our host - was nice to deal with. I will call them directly in the future. These condos were built in the 1980's and are what you would expect out of a 40 year old building. The pools were clean and the grounds maintained well. The location on the beach is great.

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. Other than the broken handle on the sliding glass door from the Family Room to the Master Balcony, everything was great. Might suggest a new wine cork as well. We definitely want to return in the future. Thank you!

Amazing!

We have visited Amelia Island for many years. This was our first stay in this unit at Amelia Surf & Racquet. The location is excellent and the condominium is beautiful. Everything was super clean and the beds were comfortable. The view was one of the best! This is also our first experience with Mock's Amelia Vacations and we could not be more pleased! They were quick to reply and very helpful. We will definitely call them first for our next vacation in Amelia!

Enjoy our stay very much..just a couple of things need work on. Check in after hours we did not have code to gate. It was pouring rain and was told to walk to room and get the remote..was not good first impression.the umbrella in room did not fit for umbrella stand at pool.😭😭😭need more pillows for bedroom.The blind in living was broke.. otherwise great stay.

Fantastic Amazing!

We have rented many beach houses and condos from NC to FL numerous times in the past 10 years, and this is our FAVORITE! The views of the ocean and beach are amazing, the condo is decorated and updated beautifully, and the icing on the cake is how comfortable the king bed is. We didn't know whether to go outside to enjoy the beach or stay in and take naps on that amazing bed! :) Email contact and directions were smooth with no issues. I'd give it a much higher rating than 5 stars if it was allowed!

Spectacular views

We want to start by saying overall the condo was amazing, however there were a few things that could have made our experience 5 star instead of 4. Let's start with a few simple things that would improve the customer experience. Upon arrival there was no gate code to access the property. We tried the “buzzer” but arrived after normal business hours and nobody answered. We had to park outside the gate and attempt to find the unit to go in and get the “clicker” for the gate. There were also no instructions on where to find the elevator and there were no signs to direct you to them, so that was a bit frustrating in a new place. There was also no mention of the carts in the stairwell landing next to unit B112 to assist with getting your things up to the 7th floor. Now for the good. The unit is very well stocked, nicely decorated and well maintained. Although a bit worn, there were beach chairs and boogie boards along with pool towels to use during your stay. The views are incredible and the grounds are well maintained also. The accommodations were very comfortable and relaxing. Being an end unit on the top floor also provided a great deal of privacy. We highly recommend if you are looking for a nice place to vacation or just get away for a few days. The beaches are clean with easy access and were not real crowded. One thing to note, the ceilings in the master bathroom and kitchen are quite low. I am only 5'3” and could touch the ceiling so if you are really tall, it could be a problem. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us for a much needed weekend getaway.
