Welcome to "Lake to Grapes" - Only 90 miles from Chicago!

Bridgman is a little gem located between St. Joe and Warren Dunes State Park! Just minutes from some of the best beaches on Lake Michigan, craft breweries, hiking trails, golf courses, and SW Michigan Wine Trails.

Relax in the upper level of our bi-level vacation home on 2.5 acres that sits off the main street, giving you a taste of nature, and complete privacy! This 3 bedroom, 2 bath sleeps 8 guests, and includes a beautiful Master suite! Close to town yet feels like the countryside.

The deck off the kitchen overlooks the beautiful park like backyard, which has a grill, fire pit, and hot tub. Private location, plenty of space indoors and out!

Please note that this is the upper level of our bi-level home, with a private entrance. We will not be renting the lower level during your stay, so you will have the property to yourself and will not have to share any amenities.

We all love our pets and hate to leave them behind, so we welcome up to two well-groomed pets as long as guests agree to follow our pet rules. As a courtesy to future guests that may have severe allergies to pets, we DO NOT allow pets on the furniture or bedding, and guests must clean up any additional shedding. Pet's must be crated when left alone. Guests must pick up after them outside. We charge $50 Per pet. Please let us know if you'll be bringing a pet.

Great for a moms weekend away

My girlfriends and I were looking for a place to stay for the weekend with a hot tub and this was a very cute, secluded and inexpensive option. I love that there is enough space for multiple families to stay also if that’s what you’re looking for! Between the fire pit, grill, hot tub and a decent amount of land and privacy, this would be a great place for any occasion.

New Year’s Eve get away

My wife and I booked this home last minute. Rebecca got back to us quickly to confirm reservations along with all the details for checking in. Home was located down a small lane off the highway. The house was very clean and well maintained. If you stay in this wonderful home in the winter months be sure to bring a robe and slippers to wear for your short walk to the Hot tub. I would definitely stay here again.

Great house near Lake Michigan

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house itself was perfect for what we were looking for. It sits pretty far back from the road and we did not hear any of the cars going by. And unlike some other reviewers, we did not mind the passing trains at all. We never heard the train at night while we were sleeping and during the day we would go out on the deck to watch the train go by. The only drawback for us was having to walk out the front door and around the house to get to the hot tub. Overall, we had a wonderful time staying here and would do so again if we are ever in the area.

Nice Stay

We enjoyed our stay here. It is very spacious and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook your meals in. Wish we could have walked to places from here but the road it is on is very busy and not close to much. The only drawback is the outside noise. You can hear the road noise from the freeway and also from the railroad tracks directly behind the house. The weather was beautiful when we were there, so we had the windows open at night. It was very noisy. We heard the train go through 2 times during the night and lots of freeway noise. We closed the windows our last night and that helped somewhat with the train noise.

Secluded, quiet, close to Antiques, beach, more

My wife and I get away for our anniversary. This place was quiet other than the couple passing commuter trains, which was never while we were sleeping. Hot tub was nice, but would be nice if access wasn't just through the front door. But not a big deal. Everything was clean, lots of kitchen necessities to cook, fridge was clean, etc. Enjoyed our stay.

"Rinse and Repeat"

As the saying goes "Rinse and Repeat" because this was our second stay at this property and hopefully won't be our last! So a very good property with a little quirks here and there but it didn't affect our stay and Rebecca is still good at communicating with her guests.. For a more detailed review check out our first review one a year ago for May 24-May 26!

Clean house, nice accommodations, felt like home. Close to interstate so there is some vehicle noise which may be noticeable if the windows were left open. Responsive communication from the owner. Accurate descriptions and instructions provided by owner. Would stay here again.

Lovely getaway

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this property. We just needed a few days away, a hot tub, and some alone time to rest, relax, and recharge. This place delivered. I had a wonderful time soaking in the hot tub, playing board games, and reading by the fireplace. And, being only 90 minutes from Chicago, I would absolutely visit again.

Big clean house close to lake

Rebecca was easy to work with and her place would be perfect for a larger family wanting to spend some time close to Lake Michigan on a budget. My only complaint is that the "fireplace" listed in the description isn't a fireplace, it's a space heater. So, if you're looking for a winter getaway where you can huddle around a fire and watch it snow (and this is the east side of Lake Michigan, so it's always snowing!) this isn't the place! That said, it was clean and check in was easy and the snowplow folks were prompt and made sure my little rental car could make it out of the long driveway!

Nice accommodations

This property has 2 levels to book. We had the upper level which was very nice but you do not have direct access to the back yard, hot tub or fire pit. You have to go out the front door and all the way around the house to get there. Very inconvenient, especially if you want to use the hottub in winter months. Over all it was very nice.

Our family of 4 had a great stay here and thoroughly enjoyed the house and hot tub. We enjoyed going to Weko Beach and collecting rocks and coming back to the hot tub and fire place. Wonderful stay!

Cozy Week Getaway

My family and I loved our mini vacation here. It was very cozy and had an amazing kitchen with everything you need. We spent our time going to warren dunes park and grand mere state park which were not even 10 minutes away. We will be back!
