What a lovely cottage! We felt at home right away. The gardens around the house added to the character and charm. Great decor throughout. We would love to stay here again should we return to the area.

this was such a fun stay! it’s really close to a lot of neat food and antique shops. the outdoor space was truly the winner of it all and it was such a relaxing stay.

Absolute paradise! The grounds are gorgeous with all of the plants and options for seating. Inside was cozy with everything we needed. We had dinner every evening in the screened in porch overlooking more gardens. Delightful!

We had such a wonderful week at your home! The house had everything we needed and more. My kids had a magical time exploring the home, the cool yard, and the unique screened in summer home. We hope to be back in the future! Thank you for the core memories!

Pros: this rental is pet friendly (I try to thank all owners for being pet friendly); Bill is an excellent communicator; love the location; the property is large; the air conditioner works well; the bedding and towels are high quality; great hot water; the screened in porch is where we hung out the most. Cons: feels dark inside with all the lights on; seems like minor upgrades (mugs and plates) could make a big difference; additional utensils needed; you hear the trains pass by (as much of the area does).

I enjoyed staying here so much. The host is gracious and you can tell fond family memories have been made here throughout the years. There is more here than the pictures suggest. The yard is great and the proximity to the beach is top notch. For those that know the area, I'm happy to report that Flagship fish market is alive and well under new ownership. Book your stay here. I certainly hope to be back again soon.

Owner very responsive throughout process. Lots of spaces to enjoy on the property- summer house all screened, fire pit, front screened porch on main house. Lot is very wooded. Great jumping off point for area activities. Well appointed kitchen which we used a lot.

Cannot rave enough about Lakeside Grove! It is a gem! Cottage is well appointed and obviously loved. Clean, inviting and had everything we could wish for. Close enough to walk to a small beach from cottage and easy access to larger beaches, great restaurants and a bike trail right outside your front door practically. So glad we got to stay here! Hope to come back many times!

Adorable cottage in Lakeside

We loved our stay at this adorable cottage in Lakeside. The cottage and grounds are so charming, the kitchen was well equipped and we made good use of the bikes. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Getaway

This historic cottage was the perfect getaway from the city. My husband and I enjoyed the time away. The cottage was super cozy and it was just nice to relax and read a book on the porch.

Great family vacation!

We had a great trip and the cottage was a wonderful location for our family to rest and eat between adventures. The host, Bill, was very helpful and had great communication. Checking in and out was a breeze and we felt right at home with plenty of sleeping space for our family of 6 (with younger kids ages 3-11.)

Long Weekend Getaway

Really enjoyed the cottage. Very comfortable beds and a wonderful front porch for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The owner has a lot of amenities including bikes in the shed that my daughter and her friend loved being able to use and a fun inter tube we took down to the beach!

Weekend Wedding

We loved staying here for a wedding we had in St Joe!! We went to the water and just really enjoyed the place! Checkin and all that was super easy!! Definitely would come back and recommend!!

Great Holiday Weekend at the Dunes

This cottage was so spacious and peaceful. There is only 1 bathroom, but it is very spacious. The grounds and "hangout"bonus cottage in the back was a great plus. We love this area and its super close to the State Park! Beautiful weather!
