The Halii Kai is a very nice resort. We have stayed here a couple of times. The ocean front 3bd was perfect for us. Views of the ocean from most rooms and Mountain View’s from the other two bedrooms. The proximity to the pool is ideal and they have a nice bar and restaurant. Highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Waikoloa. Very quiet and relaxing!

The oceanfront view was breathtaking. The Hali’i Kai community is immaculately maintained. The staff at the pool were great!

We loved the setting, gated community, open air gym, pool and our condo! Everything was wonderful!

I would highly recommend this community and especially our condo, 15F ! Oceanfront and beautiful.

Great views, convenient location

Spacious and comfortable. Great whale watching from the lanai. Close to shops and restaurants. 5 min to a nice beach with turtles and snorkeling. If it was for sale I’d buy it.

Gorgeous

The home was inviting and very clean. The views were beautiful and the whale sightings as well as sunsets were a plus. The pool was very close which made it convenient. I would definitely recommend this unit.

Absolutely beautiful!

Views are spectacular. So fun to see the whales playing ... right from our lanai. The condo and grounds were very well kept; Beach club is just a block away. Loved the ocean sounds and breezes. The two story layout worked perfectly for our multi-generation family.

This unit is one of the nicest we've ever stayed at. The complete ocean view from both lanais was beautiful. We saw whales every day and watched the sunset every evening. The unit had everything we needed such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher tabs and laundry tabs, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, and a stocked kitchen from spices and oils to cooking utensils and more. The pool is very close and looks over the ocean. It has a bar and restaurant and you can order from from your lounge seat. We walked to the King and Queens shops a few times (it's about 1.75 miles) or took the 2 minute drive. The check in and check out process was seamless and the rental company was very easy to communicate with and very quick to respond to my questions. David from the complimentary concierge service was helpful in booking excursions for us. Everything was perfect and I'd definitely stay here again!

This condo is in a beautiful location and was clean upon arrival. However, after flying 18 hours and arriving at 8pm we arrived to a condo that was 85 degrees with two children. I immediately called the after hours service and I was told they would get back to be in 2 hours. I finally received a call from the host and she informed me that the AC company did not do after hours and that it would be Monday before someone could come. We arrived on Saturday. I explained that the condo was 84 degrees and all she could offer was “you can open the windows”. Terrible start to our vacation. However, she did instruct me that sometimes the sensor is off on the doors and that causes the AC to shut off. Why didn’t anyone check this before we arrived? After locking the doors and ensuring they were closed the condo began to cool off. It took 10 hours before the condo reached a comfortable temperature. This sensor issue would have been nice to know. Having a resolution for no AC would have also been nice. Overall this condo was beautiful and clean but no AC would have been a huge dealbreaker. Thankfully it began working!

Aloha, Mahalo for sharing your feedback about Halii Kai 15F. I’m sorry your arrival was so uncomfortable and that our after‑hours response didn’t provide a faster solution. We do inspect all of our properties on day of arrival, and turn the AC on for our guests to enjoy, however on rare occasions the sensor can trip after our inspection. We’re also reviewing our after‑hours/vendor procedures so we can offer quicker, clearer options if something goes wrong on a weekend, however living on an island does present more challenges with limited vendor options. Location amazing. Needs a little TLC.

So the view is amazing. Location and neighborhood as well. The condo it self needs a little attention. Beds are very comfortable but not enough covers. Beds need comforters of some kind. Kitchen stovetop needs serviced. Rusty knives and skillets need replaced. Headboards are not attached to the bed frames. Sectional slides and comes apart into several pieces. Honestly some inexpensive upgrades would make the stay more comfortable.

Exactly as advertised, even better. Clean, well maintained with tons of amenities. Very safe area with a pool, hot tub and restaurant that are wonderful. Very easy check in and out process with very quick responses. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home.

10 Stars - best VRBO ever!!

Pictures of the view do not do justice! Truly spectacular from both balconies! Club pool and restaurant were fantastic. Great set up - plenty of sun and shade. Great food for lunch and dinner (dinner outside with view of ocean at sunset). Great location! Beach recommendations were spot on … we went to 3 beaches that were all different from each other and all great! We do not want to leave this escape to paradise!

Perfect property and location.

The property was exactly as described. The ocean front location was so peaceful and provided excellent views of sunsets. There were adequate supplies to last us the week. The resort amenities we used were great. The restaurant and bar provided plentiful food and drinks (alcoholic drinks were not weak at all). Top notch restaurant, bar and service, not to mention convenient. VERY convenient location to two shopping centers, including grocery stores, coffee, gas, and restaurants. Would book here again without hesitation.

Nice condo with great view

The condo was as described, clean, and had a fantastic view. The rental company was helpful in most areas. The only problem we had was that there was a home improvement project going on in the condo beneath us which was very noisy (table saw cutting tile and granite) on the lanai for our entire 5 day stay including Saturday and Sunday. When I contacted the rental company they said they did not know it would be happening during our stay, but could not find out any info on how long the project would last as the neighborhood does not require notification of any construction work. We asked to be moved after the second day of the noise disturbance, but they said that wasn’t possible. The rental company offered us a 5% discount for the noise disturbance. Unfortunately, the noise really hampered our ability to relax while on vacation.

Beautiful location

Wonderful location right on the water. Clean place with lots of space and bathrooms. Great views, great pool with great drinks, great snorkeling just north. Would come back.

Fabulous view!

We had a wonderful stay. The property was true to the pictures…very clean but maybe a tad outdated. That being said, we had an amazing time. The views can’t be beat. Daily sightings of whales from the lanai. The condo was stocked with all the essentials and easily accommodated five of us. I would highly recommend!
