We had a wonderful week on Lake Dolney. The property was clean, comfortable, well stocked, had good space, great location, great communication and plenty to do!

I can't recommend this property enough! It is a charming and very well appointed cabin. The property is spectacular - gorgeous views of a very private and secluded lake. We barely saw anyone else on the lake during our whole stay there (aside from Bald Eagles, Loons, Wild Swans, Deer etc)! The cabin came well stocked and had everything we needed for lake activities - floats, canoes, a firepit with plenty of firewood etc. It was hard to leave and we would certainly rent this property again!

The property was beautiful and very well kept. We enjoyed the cabin which was spotless and very well appointed. It was a very hot week, yet we were comfortable with air conditioning and enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch with a pretty view of the water. Would highly recommend to others looking for a quiet and peaceful get away.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin was very clean and well prepared for our stay. The kitchen had everything we need for cooking meals, and the grill was very nice. The screened in porch is perfect for early mornings and late nights. We enjoyed the canoes and paddle boat, and there was great fishing right off the dock for kids. Lynne was a wonderful, communicative, and helpful host. We would come back in a heartbeat!

We had such a wonderful autumn stay! The cabin was spotless and very cozy — the perfect place to relax and unwind. The large yard was ideal for our kids and dog to run around and play, and the lake was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals, which made our stay even more comfortable. We’d happily stay here again!

Our stay at this cabin was just what we needed over MEA weekend in October. Stayed with my husband and kids aged 13 and 9. My son was thrilled to have the dock in the water for fishing. Didn’t catch much, but of course we were taunted by a large northern or musky when the poles weren’t ready.. They also had a pedal boat which we used a lot, and 2 canoes to explore the water. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Property was so quiet and peaceful. Beds were wonderful and comfy and the sheets on the master were so soft I took a picture of the tag so I could have them at home. Kitchen was well stocked, internet TV was great for downtime and WiFi signal was strong. Loved that it was a dog friendly rental so we could bring our pup along. She was in heaven as she doesn’t get that level of freedom at home. Bonfire pit spacious, with plenty of firewood. Nearby shed had fishing nets, canoe paddles, and life jackets. Appreciated that necessity items were supplied and didn’t have to buy them before we arrived (toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, garbage bags, ziplocks, plenty of bath and beach towels, laundry soap, etc. Great location with easy access to Crosslake for restaurants and groceries and their first annual Oktoberfest, and 20ish mins to Crosby. If you like mountain biking the Miners “mountain” Cuyuna trails are nearby and have tons of mountain biking trails and the fall colors were stunning. If you go to Crosby, hit up Burritos California and the brewery Nextdoor.

Wonderful getaway!

We stayed with our family and absolutely loved everything about this cabin and property! The location is perfect, providing privacy and a large backyard for playing games and campfires. The fishing was great, and our kids loved swimming in the lake!

Peaceful Get Away

The property is well maintained, clean and decorated with a very inviting feel. The area is very quite, the fishing was great and the views were awesome. Very nice place for a family vacation!

Great stay!

Check in was great and all the communication prior with Lynne was wonderful. The house and location were exactly what we wanted. Secluded but close to town. We had a group of kids and adults and it was perfect for our needs. Thanks for letting us rent your beautiful property!

The perfect cabin

We had a fabulous time relaxing, canoeing, adventuring. Such a nice kitchen, and the porch is amazing for when the bugs might be too bad for the patio. Our time couldn’t have been better.

Beautiful cabin

Beautiful place on the end of a dirt road. Cabin size was perfect for our family. Just pack a bag and head up there, everything you need is there!

Incredible Property, Absolutely Loved It!

We have stayed at numerous VRBO properties in northern MN but this was our favorite one! Location is perfect, remote and private yet close to towns, saw a lot of wildlife each day, beautiful lake, large yard, and the cabin itself is very clean and updated, just perfect! We plan on staying here again in the future, owners are great people too!

Cross Lake retreat

This is our fifth time staying at this property. It is great for our dog and the lake is nice and clear with a sandy bottom. Lake level was up so no beach this year but still a great stay and location.

Family Trip

This is the second time we have rented this property and it fits our needs perfectly. We love the location - right on the snowmobile trail and yet only a few minutes from town. Looking forward to our next trip already!

We had a wonderful week! The weather was beautiful and the lake calm and refreshing. Check in was easy, as was communication with Lynne. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen was great with nice appliances to use. Lots of catch and release fun off the dock. We hope to return again.

Perfect getaway cabin

This was a great stay for my family and I, including 4 adults and 3 kids. The property was perfect size, large back for the kids to run around, comfortable beds, and everything you need for a week's getaway. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, and quick to respond. We would love to come back again next year!

This was our second stay with Lynne at the lake house and we couldn't be happier! The place is well stocked with everything you need, very clean, and perfect for a family getaway. We spent our time at the lake swimming, paddle boating, and relaxing in the sun. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are perfect for our large family and communication with Lynne is a breeze. We're looking forward to coming back next year!

Peaceful lake retreat

Quiet well maintained property within steps of lake. Appreciated bug sprays and firewood for nightly bonfires. Highly recommend!
