Peaceful Lake Retreat!!

Welcome to peace and privacy on the lake! What makes this great cabin unique for a relaxing getaway is the privacy! There is 200' of sandy lakeshore with 2 canoes and a four person paddle boat that are available for your use. There is a public launch on the lake and you are welcome to bring your boat and use the dock or check with us for the availability of renting a pontoon for the duration of your stay. Nightly rate does not include pontoon. Dock available May - September. In the winter months, we are located directly on the hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails. The entrance to the trails is right across our side yard and there is plenty of room to park your trailer. The private yard is large and level with a bonfire pit next to the lake. Inside, there is a great room with a gas fireplace and cozy seating, a nice size kitchen stocked with all the essentials. There are three bedrooms, one with a king bed, one with a queen bed, and the third with a queen bed and bunk beds for a comfortable night's rest. Also, the 3 season porch gets continual 5 star reviews for its views and comfort. Great restaurants and shopping are just minutes away in Crosslake. If you want more of a city feel, Brainerd is within a half hour drive with great towns like Pequot Lakes and Nisswa along the way! This comfortable cabin makes for a great family or friends getaway any time of the year! We had a wonderful week! The weather was beautiful and the lake calm and refreshing. Check in was easy, as was communication with Lynne. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen was great with nice appliances to use. Lots of catch and release fun off the dock. We hope to return again.

This was our second stay with Lynne at the lake house and we couldn't be happier! The place is well stocked with everything you need, very clean, and perfect for a family getaway. We spent our time at the lake swimming, paddle boating, and relaxing in the sun. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are perfect for our large family and communication with Lynne is a breeze. We're looking forward to coming back next year!

Great stay!

Check in was great and all the communication prior with Lynne was wonderful. The house and location were exactly what we wanted. Secluded but close to town. We had a group of kids and adults and it was perfect for our needs. Thanks for letting us rent your beautiful property!

The perfect cabin

We had a fabulous time relaxing, canoeing, adventuring. Such a nice kitchen, and the porch is amazing for when the bugs might be too bad for the patio. Our time couldn’t have been better.

Great Lakeside House

The house, including the kitchen is well furnished with everything you need. Excellent A/C, appliances, and water. Great enclosed and outside patios. The enclosed patio windows and door have full screens.The house property is beautiful, private, and well cared for. Excellent L-shaped dock with bench. 2 canoes plus a paddle boat with life jackets, paddles, etc. are included. The hosts have thought of everything and are easy to communicate with.We plan to rent again!

Peaceful retreat

This is our fifth stay at the lake house. We only brought our personal items and food. Everything else was provided. It was a little cooler this trip so we really enjoyed the fireplace. Our dog loved sitting on the dock just taking in the views. He also loved swimming in the lake. We’ll be back for our sixth stay.

Wonderful getaway!

We stayed with our family and absolutely loved everything about this cabin and property! The location is perfect, providing privacy and a large backyard for playing games and campfires. The fishing was great, and our kids loved swimming in the lake!

Beautiful cabin

Beautiful place on the end of a dirt road. Cabin size was perfect for our family. Just pack a bag and head up there, everything you need is there!

Cross Lake retreat

This is our fifth time staying at this property. It is great for our dog and the lake is nice and clear with a sandy bottom. Lake level was up so no beach this year but still a great stay and location.

Perfect getaway cabin

This was a great stay for my family and I, including 4 adults and 3 kids. The property was perfect size, large back for the kids to run around, comfortable beds, and everything you need for a week's getaway. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, and quick to respond. We would love to come back again next year!

Incredible Property, Absolutely Loved It!

We have stayed at numerous VRBO properties in northern MN but this was our favorite one! Location is perfect, remote and private yet close to towns, saw a lot of wildlife each day, beautiful lake, large yard, and the cabin itself is very clean and updated, just perfect! We plan on staying here again in the future, owners are great people too!

Great getaway!

Great getaway for the family to sit back, relax and have some quiet time away. Very peaceful lake retreat that was in excellent condition and one of the best stocked VRBO houses we’ve stayed at. Lake was excellent with plenty of fish and great for paddle boarding. Will definitely look it up again if in the area! Thanks!

This is a lovely cabin on a very quiet lake, a good place if you want solitude, quiet, and privacy. It is our third time staying here. There were some new appliances and kitchen upgrades this year - an added bonus.

We loved this home. It exceeded our expectations!

Peaceful

Location of lake home is perfect for a quiet week away. The screened in porch is wonderful for looking out over the lake. Our dog loved swimming in the lake and watching all the fish around the dock. The yard was perfect for playing fetch too. We enjoyed watching the geese, ducks and ground squirrels. We’re already planning our next trip to the lake house.

Communing with Nature

I was looking to get out of the city to reconnect with myself and nature. This cabin is one of my favorite places on earth and only 2.5 hours from Minneapolis. If you are looking for a peaceful lake-life experience, this spot can't be beat. The cabin is comfortable, cozy, well-equipped, modern, yet has rustic vibes. Lynne, the host, is responsive and easy to work with. I look forward to my next stay!

The peaceful, private setting and comfortable, cozy cabin makes for a truly unique getaway. There is 200' of weed free, private lakeshore. The lake is fairly shallow and the water quality is so clear you can see to the bottom in most areas. There are only 16 other houses on this lake with one end being a nature preserve and there is a public boat launch. Endless activities include fishing, boating waterskiing, swimming, hiking, four wheeling and biking. A 4-person paddleboat, canoe and dock are available for guest use. In the winter this is the perfect spot for that snowmobiling get away with access to hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails right in the side yard!
Crosslake is 5 minutes away and has several excellent restaurants to choose from along with fun shops to visit . Brainerd is less than a 30 minute drive and has a bigger city feel with smaller towns like Pequot Lakes and Nisswa to enjoy along the way. It makes for a fun shopping experience. Crosby is 15 minutes south and is known as "The Antique Capital of the Lakes Area" The 5 mile Cuyuna Lakes State Trail is open to biking and horse back riding enthusists and is within 25 minutes.
