Isabella Cottage is a charming little house with garden and spacious terrace located only 50m from the beautiful beaches of Bol. Although it is placed in one of the most popular touristy destinations of the Adriatic sea and near the village centre, the cottage lies in a tranquil part of Bol surrounded only with sounds of crickets and the sea.

The cottage accommodates 4 people in one double and one twin bedroom and it is ideal for a family holiday or romantic sanctuary for couples. The kitchen and bathroom are equipped for a longer stay. The stove in the kitchen is a ceramic hob with 4 plates, there is no oven .

The terrace is shaded by a vine, and with the garden in front, transforms an ordinary holiday into a traditional experience of simple island life - enjoy grilling food on the terrace BBQ with oleander flowers around. Alternatively dine out at one of the local restaurants close by and enjoy the night-life bars of the town.

Almost everyday you can enjoy the guest performances by well-known theatres, renowned musicians, popular singers and local cultural groups performing local dances, songs and plays.

For the sports lover there is windsurfing, scuba diving, jet skiing, tennis and bike rentals.

Getting to Brac: To reach Brac take the 50 minute car ferry from Split harbour. Split harbour is 20 kilometres from Split airport. The crossing takes about 50 minutes. The cost per person is approx 5 Euro. Bol is a 45 minute drive from Supetar

Getting to the Property: You will checkin at the office of Dalmatian Property Management in Supetar. The office is 200 m from the ferry port. We will supply you with photo directions how to get to the apartment. And will give you information about the region, supermarkets, restaurants and cultural events you might visit during your stay. You will feel completely looked after. And in a case you need anything else DPM personnel will be happy to help.

Other Things to note
Please note you will need to pay in cash on arrival cca 1 ,50 Euro per person per day tourist tax. Late arrival and Sunday check in fees apply. You will also need to leave a 20 Euro cash deposit on arrival for the key. You will get this back when you return the key on departure.

Nettes Häuschen

Cottage Isabella ist ein nettes Häuschen mit allem was man braucht. Der Weg zum Einkauf und zum Strand ist kurz. Wir haben zu viert mit zwei Hunden drei wunderschöne Wochen hier verbracht.

Kleines Ferienhaus in toller Lage

Erstmal das Positive :-) Das Häuschen liegt wirklich zentral , alles ist angenehm zu Fuss erreichbar. Es war im Tip Top Zustand und sehr einladend. Wir haben uns Sofort wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles da was man im Urlaub benötigt . Wir waren mit 2 Erw. und einem Kind 6 J. dort. Nun zu den negativen Dingen :-( -- Täglich kommt der LKW und parkt direkt am Haus und lädt Lautstark morgens um 7 Uhr die Ware für das kleine Lädchen ,weiter oben, aus. Samstags und Sonntags ist Ruhe. -- Die Strasse ist, fanden wir ,stark befahren so das man bis mitten in die Nacht rein, die lauten Roller,Motorräder und Autos hört. --Das schlimmste für uns waren links neben dem Haus die Nachbarn ( Einheimische) . Ab 22/23 Uhr wurde Lautstark die Musik aufgedreht, Laut gesungen und rumgeschrieen . Und das 4 Tage hintereinander. Wir meldeten uns bei der Agentur , dort wurden wir beruhigt das ein wichtiger Feiertag wäre ( 4 Tage ???), und sie wohl jemanden rausschicken wollten. Wir hatten den Eindruck das niemand dort war , weil immer noch Laut gefeiert wurde. Wichtiger war jedoch uns zu Fragen , ob denn auch immer schön das Toilettenfenster geschloßen wäre :-( --Nicht schön ist auch, das man das Badezimmerfenster NICHT öffnen darf um zu Lüften etc. da sich die Nachbarn (links) gestört fühlen. Alles in allem würden wir persönlich dort nicht mehr unseren Urlaub verbringen. Wer aber mit Lärm im Urlaub kein Problem hat ,ist dort wirklich gut aufgehoben.

Tiny, spotlessly clean, cramped and basic

This was fine for us, a couple, but so tiny it would be very cramped for four. The kitchen/living room is ok, no room for comfy seating, and the beds are very nice though the bedrooms are very cramped. Location was good and tiny garden is lovely, scented by huge rosemary and lavender bushes. Terrace is large and nice. There is no stove as described in the details, and as I like to buy in the market and cook this was a big disappointment. No microwave, which would have made a positive difference, and the white kettle leaks brown stuff into the water inside, not good. We know the Croatian coast, and how often heat builds up so there will be a thunderstorm and heavy rain, then clear skies - so cooking outdoors is not always a given. The hob worked well but it’s just a hob. We used the barbecue on the dry evenings, bought charcoal from the local shop, but there is nothing provided to clean it well. Just a tetchy note saying we’d be charged if we didn’t clean it. All it needs a the usual stiff wire brush and cleaner. I laid it down on the ground and scrubbed using the bit of wire wool I found under the sink, then put it through the dishwasher each time. Shabby not to provide appropriate materials. Bol is lovely, we explored different little coves, swam a lot, went to Z Rat which was a great day out, had one nice and very expensive meal in an exquisite setting at the old mill, ate lovely food at the cottage, drank Croatian wine, a very nice holiday.

Een oase van rust in toeristisch Bol

Een klein huisje aan de oostzijde van Bol. Gezellig centrum op loopafstand voor boodschappen, barretjes en eten. Heerlijke tuin met ligstoelen maar ook een plek in de schaduw. Ook de stranden zijn dichtbij. Inrichting eenvoudig maar voldoet aan alle eisen die je aan een vakantiehuisje mag stellen. Een nabijgelegen disco zorgde voor enig geluidshinder in de nachtelijke uren.
