Our modern open concept one floor cottage has 4 bedrooms and is located in the private woodland community of Southcott Pines. It is fully equipped with gas furnace, gas fire, central a/c,, dishwasher, TV with netflix, CV and DVD and wifi. The main room is approx 35 ft with 14 ft cathedral ceilings. There are two decks with outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ. It is only a short walk to the private sandy beach of Southcott Pines. On the main floor there is a large master (queen bed) with walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom. There are two further bedrooms (one queen and one with twins) and additional shower room. The basement is not completely finished but there is a finished bedroom with queen bed and pullout sofa. There is also a commercial grade air hockey table in the basement. Please note we only rent to families or mature couples.

Victoria Day long weekend

Great stay! The property was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Convenient location with easy access to the beach. The host was responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Ideal for a family !

It was all we could ask for- beach and cartoons for the kids.Comfortable couches for adults. Excellent communication with the owner .

Comfortable and clean at the beach

Great location, quiet, super clean, and very comfortable. Could easily host a large group without everyone tripping over each other. This was a good experience from start to finish.

Spacious, clean. close to lovely beach. Being Sept. we had beach mostly to ourselves. Enjoyed a Blue Line fishing charter & caught some delicious walleye.

Lake house

Beautiful home in the woods. Private and quiet neighborhood. Close to all Grand Bend has to offer. Close to Pinery Provincial park. House held five adults and one teenager with comfort and ease. Great kitchen!

Golf trip

Absolutely loved this place. 8 of us came up on a golf trip, and we couldn’t believe the cleanliness and spaciousness of this cottage in Southcott Pines. Lynda and Martin were available for any questions we had. I highly recommend this stunning place. 10/10

Great family vacation

We had a really great time at Lynda’s place. We were a family of 6, 4 adults and 2 kids and we found the place very comfortable, spacious, clean and very convenient located. We enjoyed the private beach and it was very close. The cottage was much better than what the photos suggested. It is very big, great open concept and nice view. Communication with owner was very good and they were very flexible for checking in and out.

This was our 23rd year getting together and first time here. everything was great. Lots of room for the 8 of us and walking distance to the private beach. We will definitely be coming back

Exactly as advertised

Was very spacious with plenty of room for 8 adults. Nicely laid out for privacy for the bedrooms. Very nice outdoor patio with tons of seating. Cottage in lovely mature treed area - plenty of shade. Excellent privacy from nearby cottages. Owners responded quickly to all questions. Excellent experience all around! Would have loved to stay for a longer holiday.

Grandparents getaway with 3 kids

Lynda is a very attentive host. We loved the location, very quiet and access to a private beach. The house had everything we needed and was big enough we were not sitting on top of each other. The kids loved the basement with ping pong table air hockey. We weren’t expecting that so a nice surprise.. we would definitely recommend this property. Thanks Lynda.

Quiet area, quick walk or drive to private beach

My wife arranged that our two sons and myself have a weekend together like we had done when they were young. We loved the modern spacious surroundings, the nice walks to enjoy the waves and the new styles in beachwear and we didn't run out of beer till the last day.

Great stay!

Enjoyed our stay at this property as two senior couples on a golf getaway in the area. Communication with the host was very pleasant. The house was clean, comfortable and a great “ home away from home”. Would definitely stay here again !

Wonderful space

Lynda was a great host. She welcomed us warmly by text with good information and responded to our questions in a timely manner. The cottage was spacious, well appointed and comfortable inside and out and had a unique design We loved our huge master bedroom with walk in closet. The large picture windows from which you see out in the main living space present a view of forest and greenery everywhere. The beach was a pretty, ten minute walk away. All eight people in our party agreed that this was a beautiful place to rent.

Grand bend cottage

Lynda and husband were kind and cordial. Cottage spacious and suitable for all. We brought our own linen and towels. If you want to have fire in chimney bring firewood. Beautiful sun , great beach, awesome sunsets

Wonderful location

We really enjoyed our stay here. The short walk to the private beach area was great and easy. Our week was extremely warm so the treed location was perfect. Lots of space for our family and the cottage was very clean on our arrival. We would definitely recommend this to friends

Family Getaway.

Beautiful cottage with awesome access to private beach!

We had a fabulous week at this cottage. Cottage was clean and spacious. Access to beach was also great and the private beach area for residents was beautiful! Looking forward to renting it again next year!

Summer Family Retreat

Overall the rental was great! Property is located in an amazing location within close walking distance to a great private beach. Southcott is a great community with very friendly people and luxurious cottages/homes. This cottage had everything you would need with plenty of open space to enjoy indoor activities and a large patio with a wrap around deck for outdoor entertaining. Rooms were all very large and we had plenty of room. Garage was a nice feature as it allowed us to store bikes, wagons and golf clubs safely without taking up any cottage space. Will rent again!

Hidden gem in Grand Bend

Very clean home with huge windows in a lush and private setting. The beach was a short walk away along with many trails in the neighbourhood. Despite a few days of rain, there was still plenty of things to do in the area. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone.

Spacious, open concept in quiet, treed community

This cottage has everything. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings on the side deck, others times on wrap-around back deck, or around chimenea, games and some meals at large table in in dining-room area surrounded by windows to look out at greenery. Great kitchen with island. Love the nearby trails and sandy beach. Loved our week here.

Sister getaway

My sisters and I had a marvellous time at this beautiful property in Grand Bend. We especially enjoyed walking along the River trail and throughout the community. The close walk to the private beach was a hit with all of us as were the lovely outdoor seating areas. The house is bright and spacious with plenty of room for all of us. The walk to the downtown shopping area is quite close. Communication with the owner was exceptional. I would definitely recommend to friends and family looking for a beach getaway.

Amazing getaway

Easy as pie. Will definitely do it again. Only complaint was that we wished there was a washroom in the basement for those middle of the night situations.
