The Blue Moose

Beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath cottage located in the prestigious gated community of Beach O Pines Grand Bend. A short walk to the private beach with great amenities including: a beach volleyball court, indoor entertainment space with ping pong table and outdoor fire-pit area. Enjoy the peaceful private back yard with a short drive to town.

This cottage is rented to families and mature couples (25+) only. No prom, graduation, or bachelor/bachelorette parties. Non smoking. Friday to Friday weekly rentals only from June - August. We allow well behaved dogs crate trained dogs. One dog is permitted per reservation ($100 fee applies). Please ensure that you check off at the time of booking.

This is our second year at this lovely cottage. The additional large recreation/tv room is wonderful for adults and children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great vacation property

This is a very clean, large, modern home. We visited 2 years ago when it looked brand new. Now, it has started to show some wear which is inevitable. We had lovely weather and enjoyed our stay.

Can't say enough about the great hosts and the Blue Moose. Awesome environment, lots to do whether you go to the beach a couple of minutes walk down the road or up to Grand Bend. You'll never tire of being here.

Beautiful long weekend

Our stay at the Blue Moose was excellent! It exceeded my expectations. We had a great time relaxing and spending time with our family. We are already thinking about coming back next year! Great location, place is clean and have everything you need! Thank you Rebecca for everything!

Amazing Stay Away From Home

Amazing gated community. Inspiring to relax, recharge. Beach was perfect this year. Felt like we were in the Caribbean. Beach not far from the cottage. Will be back again. Hassle free check in. Lots of amenities. Many local restaurants available.

Peaceful and rejuvenating

This was our second visit to the property and it was just as fabulous as the first time. The location is perfect to getting to the beach or up to Grand Bend. Working in the city the location being in the forest like setting and numerous paths to enjoy the environment as well as the beach was very cathartic. Having the choice of a fire outside in the fire pit surrounded by Nature or in the living room with a gas fireplace or a wood burning fire in the playroom was just fabulous. Ken and Rebecca were all so lovely to deal with and responded promptly to any queries. Truly fabulous hosts.

Perfect!

This was our third time staying here and it still is the best place to go. It feels like home and you can just chill since you have everything you need. Grand Bend is only a 2 minute drive away if you need anything. A fire pit outside and a lovely wood burning fireplace inside and a gas fireplace in the living room. Trees, oodles of paths to walk, a short 3 minute walk to the beach.... Ken and Rebecca are super and they are very responsive and helpful. You couldn't ask for better. I could go on but really just book and judge for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

Perfect stay at Grand Bend!

This is our second year coming to Rebecca's place in Beach O Pines! We had a great time here.. The house is perfect for a family/ group of 8. It has everything you need, it's clean, and perfect to be outdoors and relax.. We cannot wait to be back again!

Family Time

Thank you ! Great spot! the kids loved the big play room and walking down to the beach. The hand shower outside is perfect for washing off the sand.( If there was a curtain I would have showered out there Lol )Beds were comfy. Will definitely keep on file as a go to.

Wonderful family getaway

We loved our time together here in Grand Bend. We were able to spend thanksgiving here with our daughter and son in law along with our furry pet. Lots of room. Close to the beach. Loved the ping pong too!

A beautiful property

This house is absolutely beautiful. Very clean and very spacious. It can easily accommodate 8 people. It has everything necessary for a home away from home…and more! Highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

The Beach Life

This is a very clean, beautiful spacious cottage! It’s a nice short walk to the beach. There is a very lovely deck and sitting area in the backyard. There were even hooks in the trees so we could hang our hammocks! Rebecca and Ken provided a wagon so we could pull everything down to the sandy beach. We loved this property!

Another wonderful relaxing stay

We had another wonderful stay for the second year in a row. Weather was perfect for our whole 2 weeks and cottage was so relaxing. Very quiet neighbourhood with nearby private beach is a perfect location for us and save fighting for a parking spot downtown. We noticed that the hosts upgraded the furniture and TVs which was a surprise and much appreciated. Watching all the Fireflies glow at night in the dark around the campfire is zen like and highly recommended. Looking forward already to visiting next year.
