Newly listed waterfront home. Best location on the Isle of Palms. Deepwater dock
We grew up here so we know this is the best location on the Isle of Palms. It is a 5BDR / 4BA / 4,000 sq ft. house all on one level. There is plenty of room for the kids and adults to spread out and have their own space. There are hardwoods throughout the house except for the tile in the 4 bathrooms (tile), kitchen (tile), sunroom (tile) and wood deck.
We specialize in the details. For instance we provide amenities such as 4 beach chairs, beach toys, linens, kitchen spices and seasonings, laundry detergent, shower bar soap, dishwasher detergent, kayaks, life jackets, boogie boards, and so much more are included! If you had to rent / buy / or pack any of this you would spend way more than you thought. We provide it for free!
Having your own private dock allows you to fish, crab, swim, or boat right in Hamlin Creek which is just off the Intracoastal waterway. Dolphins are almost always seen in the creek. Use our 3 kayaks and 2 paddle boards or bring your own boat. The dockhouse gives you lots of shade and is my favorite place during a rainstorm. If it rains, enjoy the sunporch with its pool and ping pong table,
The walk to the beach is 2 short blocks and takes 5 minutes. There is a nice safe bikepath directly to the beach.
The home is equipped with smart screen tvs, cable service with lots of channels, and wifi. Remember you are on an island so my recommendation is to unplug and take advantage of the deepwater dock, beach, proximity to Charleston, and rich history of the area. We have a ping pong, pool, and air hockey table on the sunroom.
Since we are local we can point you to the best restaurants, shopping, historical areas, fishing, and surfing spots, and places to rent bikes, jet skis, etc..
All bed linens, kitchen towels and bath towel sets are provided for your convenience. We include a starter set of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath and dish soaps, paper towels, etc. If you need to restock you are 1 mile from a Harris Teeter. We also provide you with 4 beach chairs, an umbrella, and a beach buggy to roll any other items to the beach. You only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels.

We rented the home for a long weekend fishing trip. The house was perfect! Very clean and updated. Plenty of room and privacy for the 3 of us. The home certainly is large enough for a large family or group. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. The dock system was great and accommodated our 21 foot center console perfectly. Cleaning station with water was a luxury. Would stay here again. I would give it 5 stars across the board!!

Our group of nine had a great week at this house. It was roomy and clean. The dock and water activities were especially popular.

Very clean and comfortable property as advertised. Short walk to the beach. Kids really enjoyed fishing off the dock and the screened in porch was enjoyable.

The house was very relaxing and enjoyable for everyone including my grandsons ages 2 and 4. The beds were very comfortable. My favorite spot was the screen porch, especially during an afternoon storms. The dock was my husbands favorite spot to dock his boat so that he could go fishing and crabbing, I thought it was a great place to watch the sun rise.

This property was very nice for our family reunion. Ample room, bathrooms, sitting areas and ammenities. The location was ideal -situated on a scenic waterway that is the view from the backside of the home (so peaceful) and only 2 short blocks to the Isle of Palms beach. We hope to be back to IOP and to Clay's family home for our biannual trip in 2028 - Lord willing!

Great off street parking. We brought our boat and the dock was perfect. House is very room. Plenty of bathrooms. Bright sunroom. Questions answered promptly when asked

We loved sitting on the dock watching the wildlife- crabs, dolphins, pelicans, egrets and herons, to name a few. Great place to unwind!

This is an awesome property. Close to everything. The house is huge. The pictures don’t do it justice and they have recently remodeled. It was a very quiet neighborhood too. Beautiful view and fun for a larger family or group. The host’s Dad check-in in on how our stay was going and that was very nice too. We would stay here again.

This was our second stay at 707 Palm and we will be back! New renovations this visit include new furniture, flooring, removal of doors creating a wide open space. The floor plan is great for big groups, with the bedrooms along a hall separate from living spaces.The dock is great for a boat, fishing and swimming.Front beach is an easy walk.The rope swing is hung so high the kids were amazed!Location is wonderful, host is very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this property without reservation!

IOP vacation
We loved out stay at this beautiful IOP home. We especially enjoyed sitting on the dock and watching for dolphins. The walk to the beach is very short and easy. Great house and host.

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at this his. Our extended family of 10 had plenty of space and lots to do. We were a short walk to the beach and the provided beach-wagons made the walk that much easier! The big draw for us was spending every day enjoying the dock. While it was 80-90F most days, the constant breezes made it perfectly comfortable. We fished for hours almost every day, and every day we ate fresh fish for breakfast and lunch. Red Drum, croaker, whiting, sea trout, and flounder. The shrimp are plentiful in the water around the dock so bring a casting net, perfect your technique, and catch all the bait you'll ever need. We also caught a lot of stingrays and lost one battle with a large tarpon (using a mullet head). TIP: the best time to catch the red drum and sea trout is when the tide is coming in and just reaching the edge of the grass. Drop you lines right in that shallow water where the game fish are gobbling up the shrimp before they can escape into the grass. Any other time you'll still catch croaker and whiting within 20' of the dock.Clay (owner) was great to work with and made the visit super easy. The house was extremely well appointed, clean, and open. We look forward to returning!

I grew up here and still call this place home. Our kids enjoy swimming, kayaking, fishing, crabbing, boating, and relaxing off the deepwater dock just like you will. We have been doing it for 40+ years and never grow tired of seeing dolphin in the creek.
