See Haus cozy beachfront cabin - gorgeous ocean view from the large breezy deck. A mile of State Park beaches are next door for bird watching, fishing, sunsets, bay trails. 1 Bedroom - King Size Bed, 2nd Bedroom - 2 Twin Beds with TV, - 2 couches in living room with TV.
Kitchen equipped with Drip Coffee Maker, Microwave, Dining table and breakfast bar. Cable TV, DVD, and WIFI provided.
Ground Level: Wooden pathway leading to the beach, Charcoal Grill, Outdoor seating, Outdoor shower and washer /dryer.
Small pups allowed with $115 nonrefundable fee. Jamaica Beach Community Pool opens Memorial Day-Labor Day. Tuesday-Sunday.
Daily passes can be purchased at the pool $5.00. Boat launch permits has a fee of $12.00 a day. Please let the office know if you will be purchasing permits. No smoking on property.. Even when provided, Internet Access/Cable service can be unreliable on West Galveston Island. We apologize, but we cannot guarantee that these amenities will be working during your stay and are unable to offer refunds for disruption of these services.
NO PROMS GROUPS OR GRADUATIONS MUST BE 25 TO RENT.

Great beach cottage!

Perfect location, right on the beach. Area was quiet while we were there, and we found the bed very comfortable. Kitchen has everything we needed. We loved the deck for sunrises!

Must Read Before Renting!

My wife and I arrive super excited because it was our 20th year anniversary trip. To our surprised the A/C wasn't working, the internet wasn't working and there were a ton of ants in the bathroom. The house was 90 degrees and humid! I was told it would get fixed ASAP and that they were so sorry that they would refund me one day of the couple of days that I had rented. To their credit they fixed the A/C that day. The internet was on the day after and the ants never left. The day I left I asked when would I received my refund for one day as I was promised and the same guy (Joel I think is his name) acted as if he didn't know what I was talking about and that he would talk to the owner and his boss and call me, HE NEVER CALLED ME! A couple of days went by and since he didn't call I called the office and asked to speak to a supervisor and they transfer me to a lady ( I forgot her name ). I explained the situation she told me the same thing Joel had told me, she was going to talk to her boss and the owner and will get back to me the next day. It's almost been a week now and haven't heard from her either. The house is pretty and in a great location, but the people that are running it aren't trustworthy and very unprofessional. Instead of taking responsibility they just kept making excuses after excuses. The lack of communication and not keeping their word makes me extremely disappointed because I would've rented that house again for other occasions, but never again!

Quaint little beach house!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is actually closer to the beach than the pictures show. Inside the house the owner has a large assortment of beach decorations and books. Very restful 3 night stay and would definitely rent again. Owner had a large umbrella with stand which was helpful during the early day sun on the porch/deck. Much fun watching the fishermen, birds and that ice cream truck going up and down the beach. Within walking distance of two restaurants serving pizza and Tex Mex food, highly recommended!

Location location location

We had the best time at See Haus in Jamaica Beach! The cottage is adorable and is decorated exactly as a real beach house should be. I can not stress enough, you are really just steps from the beach! It is an amazing location and the sunsets and sunrises are the absolute best! We loved every bit of it! Thank you so much! 😊🐚🌊☀️

Great location

We were scheduled to travel down right after the recent tropical storm. I received 2 phone calls from the property manager giving me advice and information about the state of things. I really appreciated that! The house was perfect for my wife and I plus our 2 young children.

Cute blue vacation house. So calming and charming. Loved sitting on the deck watching the gulf and them walking down and out to gulf. Would recommend staying there.

Great place to stay !!!

I will be completely honest !! It’s a great place to stay . Way better than our last rental . The small charcoal grille was perfect . Laundry room was good as well . It’s on the market for sale if I had the funds I would consider to buy it . The AC unit works good and doesn’t struggle . and the kitchen appliance are up to date . Good clean cook ware .

Nice place on The Gulf.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you like being around hundreds of people and vehicles, this place is for you. If you like to fish from the beach...not so much. Great little house and location. I wish I would have done more research about the public access beach. The view of the Gulf are awesome!

Little Blue house on the Beach!

Great stay! The location cannot be beat, unobstructed ocean views! And a little wooden walkway that takes you over the dunes. Great beach house overall. If you have little kids/toddlers be prepared! There are LOTS of "decorations", seashells, puzzles with a millions pieces, ect all in reach of the littles. However, they loved all the haning decor from the ceilings and on the walls. We had a great time!

Great Way To Getaway

See Haus was excellent in all respects. Clean. Comfortable for our small group. Easy access to beach. Well equipped with many extras. Beach themed nic-nacs galore with so much to look at. Well maintained. A few reviews were not complimentary. This place is cozy and comfy, not extravagant but also not pricey. Money and time well spent.

Awesome beach front location!

This small beach house is precious! Lovely, beach decor and relaxing vibe the minute you step inside! The king size bed was a plus and very comfortable! We love the area and decided to try out a new place in Jamaica Beach! This home did not disappoint! It’s just the two of us and most of the waterfront homes are way too large for put wants and needs!

Cute but needs maintenance, deep cleaning, and updating

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We did enjoy our stay. The house needs a very deep cleaning as it has a lot of decorations with years of dust built up on those and the light fixtures. The walkway to the beach was unsteady and hazardous. We had to pound hand holds into the sand so we didn’t fall. The washer and dryer didn’t work but the owner did credit us for that. The AC couldn’t cool to below 80 in the heat of the day. The location was amazing, the beaches were clean and the property management company was easy to work with. I think the price was high for all the updating and repairs needed. Hopefully they’ll fix that in the future.

Surprised no dish washer or garbage disposal but OK. Cute cottage close to beach that was public very crowded beach that allowed cars on beach. Good information provided. Realtor couldn’t have been more responsive. A nice experience

A cabin by the sea

We stay here every year and each year it gets better. It’s a tranquil ocean getaway with a direct path to the beach from the home. There’s a washer and dryer on site to wash away the beach before you pack up. The property is pet friendly and our fur family loves to explore the beach. The Galveston State Park shoreline is a few yards down, so there’s always a place to roam without hordes of beachcombers. The views from the house are spectacular ! The landscaping around the house is gorgeous, and I love reading on the swing bench below the patio in the morning. We have two teenage sons and there’s always plenty of room. There’s an extra toilet downstairs, which is helpful if you do want to run upstairs from the beach. You don’t need a golf cart. Next year we might bring a wagon for bringing things down to the beach.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay at See Haus! It was the perfect size for our little family and provided the amenities we needed for our weekend stay. It was very hot outside, however, and the AC was not able to maintain temperature during the day; we had to run the AC constantly and during the day the house would get up to 82 degrees, which was difficult with an infant. If you visit when the temperatures are 90 or below it will likely not be an issue.

Great little house right on the beach!

This was a great little house right on the beach! There is a wooden walkway that takes you from the house to the beach. Note that the beach is public access and people are allowed to park their cars in front of the house. So I just got up early and parked the car there to reserve our spot. It wasn't a big issue as long as you know what you're getting into. We had so much fun! Easy access to Galveston, there are a few grocery stores and small restaurants nearby (just look on Google maps). No ice maker in the fridge but the property manager made sure the ice trays were full for us on arrival. The house was clean and everything worked as expected when we were there. Thanks a lot for the stay!
