This house has a six (6) person guest limit. This is not a "party house". If that's what you want, that's fine, but please look elsewhere, because loud and late parties will be shut down, and eviction may occur. Small, relatively quiet gatherings are welcome.

This quaint updated mid-century modern home features woodgrain vinyl planking installed 12/2021 over a cork underlayment providing a soft and quiet surface for your bare feet, updated kitchen and bath with granite counters. One of the best canal water views on Galveston's West End with lots of windows. One bedroom has a queen bed, the second has 4 single beds (including daybed with trundle).

NOTE:
Amenities Include: Central air/heat, TV's in all rooms living room and both bedrooms, Internet, DVD player (with selection of DVD movies), gas BBQ grill, 2 kayaks, plenty of outdoor furniture including dining table.
Microwave, coffee pot, pots and pans, air fryer, dishes, toaster, linens and towels furnished. Public boat launch at Jamaica Beach marina.

Pets OK with upon approval and $100/pet non-refundable deposit. Non-aggressive breeds only.
No smoking except outside - NO BUTTS ON THE GROUND PLEASE!

Pool (located next to the City Park on Jolly Roger Rd/Bob Smith Rd) is open daily (except Tuesday's) from 10:00AM to 8:00 PM between mid-May thru mid-September (weather permitting). Passes are required and not provided.

You can usually check-in earlier than 4. Even if another guest is checking out the day of your arrival, the house is typically cleaned and ready by 2:30 (or earlier) after which you are welcome to check-in. Late check-out can be accommodated upon request if no guests are booked to check-in that day.

This was our first time renting a house and we were very happy with our choice. My daughter enjoyed using the kayak. We tried our luck fishing in the canal. My husband brought his fishing kayak and took it out to the bay and had fun. The host was very good at communicating with me. The house was just want we imagined.

We had a great time staying here. The house was very clean and spacious. The host was readily available if I had any questions or issues. The house is right on the water which is what we were looking for. It's in a very nice neighborhood, quiet and peaceful. Right down the road from the city park with a great pool, and a short drive down to the beach. We will definitely consider staying here again!

Loved the location and view. Had a great time fishing and kayaking. The host was quick with communication and accommodating. Will be back.

The home was generally very clean. The shower curtain was well past needing to be changed out, the kitchen sink could have been a little cleaner, and the windows need to be cleaned, otherwise, the stove, dishwasher, and grill were in very good shape, the air conditioning was cold, and the home seemed very clean. I would guess that the home has been used as a short term rental property for some time now and may be in need of a few updates and some deep cleaning as a result. Overall, we felt that this a very reasonable rental for the price, but feel that its important for people to have reasonable expectations.

Everything was absolutely amazing from check in to check out. Communication with the owner was super prompt which I really appreciate! The house was super clean and had a cozy feel. Would definitely stay here again!

This property was great and the host had excellent communication, friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was that we were expecting the lower deck area to have the comfy furniture it showed in their pictures. The furniture shown was not there, which was hugely disappointing. The expected outdoor experience was the main reason we chose this rental. Otherwise, the house was great! Plenty of hot water and the a/c worked perfectly.

I need to update the photos of the outdoor furniture which has actually been upgraded since those pics. I hope you found the cushions for the sectional which provides more seating and more comfortable seating than the older furniture. The cushions are in the storage locker as mentioned in the house notes. They can’t be left on the furniture because of frequent high winds.

I bought this property originally as a vacation home. The big water view at the T intersection of two of the larger canals was a big draw. I love the way my mood changes as soon I crest the causeway and descend to the island.
