Excellent host and townhome. Our family of 5 truly enjoyed every minute of our stay at Doc’s Quarters. There is plenty of room to spread out for quiet time. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The convenience of a very well stocked grocery store right next door was a blessing (called Seven Seas Grocery). The home was very clean and welcoming. Yolanda was quick to respond to all questions before and during our stay. This was our second time to rent this home and we will definitely stay again!!!

This is a beautiful property! The beach is truly just a quick walk away. A wagon is provided as were bag chairs which was super convenient. Very roomy and with 3 full baths would be a great place for a family. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and gazing at the ocean view. Would definitely book again. Pictures of the outside don’t do the building justice as they were getting a fresh coat of paint while we were there. Very cheery and well maintained! Be sure to read the fine print when you book. You’ll need to provide trash bags and TP once the starter set runs out.

The home was clean, cool and inviting. Absolutely love the 2 balconies, great views and great breeze. There were bunnies in the yard to greet us, which was a great surprise. There were plenty of amenities for meal prep & cooking. Nice quiet neighborhoods, beach was close & never crowded! Can't wait to come back!!!

We had one issue arise but it was quickly dealt with and addressed. We absolutely loved the location! There were myself, my daughter and son-in-law, and and the 4 grandlittles. The beach was lovely and mostly empty, even in the last week of July. Staying further from the main part of Galveston with all the hotels is the way to go! We were only 11 miles from all of the main attractions but it felt like a world away. Lovely and quiet and safe for the little kids to all run around without bothering others by being little kids and having the time of their life.Owers are very responsive to questions and take the time to make sure everything is easy and to your expectations. We had an absolute blast and will be returning!

We had a WONDERFUL stay. LOVED sitting out on the upstairs deck. Had a good view of the ocean. Place was very clean and stocked well. Went for my birthday and I am going to try and make this a tradition and come to Galveston and stay here every year. Hostess was quick to answer any questions I had. Very friendly and accommodating. I didn't want to leave!

Wonderful Family Getaway
Enjoyed our stay in the property and was close to the beach (walking distance). Neighborhood was quiet and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves.

Great beach stay in great location
Walking distance to a very nice beach, right next to gas station/grocery store which is great for grabbing whatever else you might need without leaving and lovely place with good layout, nice TV and gorgeous views. Would definitely stay again!

The property was very close to the beach and the beach was never crowded. The amenities were great and one of the cleanest properties we have stayed at. The communication with the property owner was excellent.

My husband and me enjoy sharing our 3-bedroom, 3 full bathroom beach home next door and when this beach home came up for sale, we decided to purchase the beach home.
We found many families with a desire to stay close to the beach and enjoy the relaxation that only a beach can offer! We also wanted to provide vacationers, with multiple family members, the option of sharing the same beach area but still having the privacy of being in separate quarters.

Our beach is close to Jamaica beach ( Karankawa Beach) not crowded and is a location well known by frequent island guest renters. We also enjoy this location, it is secluded but close enough (10 miles to the seawall) to all of the island happenings!

A unique benefit of renting our townhome is its phenomenal location. It is far enough from town to have the small town feeling but close enough to enjoy Galveston and all its attractions. Our guests LOVE the proximity to the beach as well as the proximity to a well stocked grocery store and Nates Restaurant. We are only 10 miles from the Seawall, which is also a big PLUS!
