This home features three spacious bedrooms, covered front porch, private fenced yard with outdoor living room, brand new furnishings and décor, two living spaces. Smart TVs in the main living room, upstairs lounge and one of the upstairs guest rooms. The private, fully fenced backyard and patio offer you the perfect place to hang out with family and friends. Tons of seating, dining table, new Weber grill and even a fire pit (fire wood is not provided). Feeling adventurous? We have 4 kayaks available for you to enjoy (you will need to figure out how to get them to the lake). This home is perfect for a family vacation, company retreat, girls getaway or a romantic weekend for two. Located minutes from everything. The house was very bice decor.Location was wonderfull.But there is only one little but.... the cleaness of the house was not good for me, there was dog hair everywhere( I know is a dog house friendly) the clining wasn't how I expected I had to vacuum the whole flor from downstairs, and on the carpet from upstair bathroom was very smelly from dog pee. Comunication was very good.

Top house we have rented…

We absolutely loved this home! It was a convenient spot, close to family who live in CDA and close to downtown. The home was nicely decorated, had excellent main level living, dining, gathering space and the kitchen was nicely equipped-we all like to cook! Hosts were very nice and very responsive! Would rent again in a heartbeat.

Clean, Comfortable and Convenient

Such an easy place to enjoy and great location. It was nice being able to use the garage for bike storage, Etc. Furniture was comfortable and plenty of towels provided. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay.

The home was very nice and clean but not close enough for us to walk to the lake or downtown area. The home is located in an area that is being rehabilitated. We felt very safe and comfortable.

Great property

This was a great place to stay with my family. The location was convenient. The house was darling. There was plenty of bed space and the living area was open and really conducive to great family time. We really appreciated the backyard play space and the board games. Had a small issue with the grill and the owner was very responsive and helpful. Next time we're in Coeur d'Alene we will definitely rebook!

Great place, responsive owners

Everything was as the listing depicted. The living room, dining room and kitchen all open was great for connecting our two families as we cooked and hung out. Owners were very responsive even though they were camping.

The house is beautiful inside and out. Liked the master bedroom being on lower level. Loves the openness of the downstairs. Enjoyed coffee in the morning on the porch! Dana was great! We will definitely stay here again!

Excellent place to stay

We have stayed in many VRBO properties. This is one of the best. It was clean and comfortable. Very quiet neighborhood, close to everything.

Our Experience

When departing we emailed the owner that the garburetor wasn't working. We did not damage it, but the owner claimed repair on a damage insurance policy I HAD PAID FOR. She used a policy procured by renters for routine repairs to her revenue-producing personal property. And that without the decency to communicate with us about her intentions This is not honorable. Huge red flag!

Great for family group!

House was perfect for our family! Location was close to downtown in a quiet neighborhood. There were multiple gathering spots, our favorite was the spacious front porch! We would definitely stay again!

Most Excellent Stay

This house rental was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. 7 of my family members stayed here and it was perfect. We especially loved the outdoor space both on the front porch and backyard which we used a lot. The house was well stocked, and even included board games and a large table to play. The neighborhood was nice and the house was super convenient to downtown Couer d'alene and the lake. Would definitely consider this rental for a future stay.

All it's rated as!

We wanted a place to stay with our friends while we visited the Coeur d'alene area. This home gave us the comfort we were looking for when we came in for the evening. The bed's were comfortable! The only thing that I would recommend is that they upgrade the pillows in the room at the top of the stairs ;-)

Spacious and beautiful

We had a lovely time at Fat Louie’s Retreat. The place was spotless and it feels more spacious than the photos look. We had 7 people staying and it didn’t feel cramped. The front and back yard space was beautiful. The AC and Wi-Fi were perfect, and the kitchen is well stocked. I highly recommend this place.

Perfect!

We loved everything about this vacation rental. It was a great set up, beautifully decorated and fully stocked with anything you could need or want on a vacation. It was cozy, comfortable and relaxing. We can’t wait to go back to CDA (when the weather allows us to enjoy the lake,) and stay here again. The only complaint I have is that the back gate doesn’t latch, so even though property is pet friendly, the yard isn’t pet safe.

Sisters retreat

The property is beautifully renovated older house in a quiet neighborhood, stocked with plenty of dishes and cookware. I appreciated the nice washer and dryer with plenty of cleaning supplies for our use at the house. My sisters and i had a great time.

A perfect place to stay for the whole family!

We really enjoy our staying, very comfortable home for the whole family! Dona were very quick to respond. We traveled from Seattle for my 8yrs old gymnast competition and my husband snowboarding such a great location for us. Thank you so much for everything!

This home was custom built in 2017. It is full of charm and detail. The home is ideally located. It features a full covered front patio and private outdoor entertaining area with new natural gas BBQ. The master is on the main level with a large en suite bathroom and large walk in closet. Open concept features a cook's dream kitchen with a deluxe gas stove/oven, lots of counter space and well stocked with high end pots and pans. The living room has a comfy sectional with two leather chairs and a 60 inch TV with cable, Netflix, HULU and Amazon Prime with many new releases. There is also a 1/2 bath and laundry room on the main level. Upstairs features two bedrooms. One has two queen beds, TV and walk in closet and the other has one bunk bed with a single/full bed combo*, a TV lounge and another bath are also upstairs. *One additional twin mattress is available
