Thacher Island and the twin light houses. Welcome to Rockport by the sea with Loblolly Cove 4 houses away. Open concept design living, dining and kitchen. Fully equipped modern white kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and blender. The bedroom features a sea shore theme with a relaxing electric fireplace as well as a distant light house view. There is one bedroom which can be configured as either a king bed or two twin beds. Spacious updated modern rustic style bath with walk-in shower. Mirrored Dressing room with vanity sitting area. Living room with 32" TV with cable service. Living room and bedroom each have a distant view of the twin lights on Thacher Island. Outdoor sitting area with patio chairs, gas grill. Also there is a raised dais deck with a gas fire pit for outdoor relaxing space. Two miles from downtown. 10 minute walk to Cape Hedge Beach. Also, provided are a beach cart with a pair of sand chairs, an umbrella and a small cooler.

Your perfect little getaway to Cape Ann for beach, dining, entertainment and fun.

Moms Birthday Weekend

Had a great weekend at this beautiful property. Host was nice and gave us a tour upon arrival. Communication with host was easy. Location was perfect for a day trip to Salem and it is within ten minutes from Bearskin Neck which is a MUST SEE! Would love to come stay here every single year. Highly recommend!

Great Rockport ma. VRBO

Wonderful place for two if you’re visiting the Rockport /Glouster area. The photos don’t do it justice! It’s Much bigger that it looks in the pics! . Large eat in kitchen with everything you could possibly need, nice big bathroom with walk in shower, comfy king size bed and everything is clean and tidy. The owners live upstairs but as someone else mentioned, very unobtrusive! We only met Jim who showed us the place and only saw him when we checked in. Will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Gladview, Rockport while visiting family. It was a perfect central location and the place was immaculate. Loved the decor and the kitchen was awesome. We walked down to Loblolly cove and fished off the rocks at the end of the road. We didn't get to visit with the owners too much as we were out and about with family every day. Will definitely stay again when we come back to visit! We highly recommend Gladview!

love this place

we were lucky enough to stay multiple times this summer at this property. it is flawlessly clean, beautifully appointed and a wonderful location for wonderful walks near the water. hope to go back next year. jim and April were also responsive and friendly. it’s a gem.

Felt right at home

Excellent location. Home was very clean and they took allot of time to decorate which made it feel like I was home. Layout of home was very spacious. The area was very quiet and no traffic news what so ever. The location was so nice. Centered between Rockport and Glouster. The yard was well maintained and beautiful landscaped. Can’t not think of one negative thing. Would definitely recommend and go back. All I can say are the pictures do not give it any justice. Soon as we walked in the door we said wow. Ray, Sue and pup named Jessie. We had a great time.

Rockport Memories

We love visiting Rockport and have since the 70s. We mostly have and liked staying in the Loblolly Cove area. Luckily we found this property to stay in with our dog and couldn’t have been happier. The hosts were nice and accommodating and easy to communicate with. We will happily return.

Beautiful apt & perfect location

This property is amazing. 5 min walk to the beach, very private location. Jim is always available but never intrusive. Highly recommend this lovely home.

Penzance get away

What a fabulous 2 week stay! The apartment is lovely, clean and very well appointed. Everything you could possibly want is there. The neighborhood is very safe and interesting to walk around. You can walk to Loblolly point and get a great view of the Thacher twin lighthouses. We would be happy to stay again in the future. I can think of nothing to complain about!

Loved it!

Peaceful. Relaxing. Comfortable. This is an amazing apartment with all the comforts of home and more!! Jim was very welcoming giving us a quick tour. You would never know that anyone was in the upper floors of the house. So quiet. Booked because of the closeness to Salem (1/2 hr) but was so happy to find Rockport an absolutely quaint town with breathtaking beaches! I loved it and would have enjoyed further exploring the town. Looking forward to going back:)

Great intro to Rockport

This property was everything we could want. Very clean. Close to Gloucester and Rockport. The unit had everything we needed. Owners very accomodating. Highly recommended.

Beautiful and Spacious Apartment

We had the most relaxing long weekend and didn't want for anything. The apartment was not only spacious; it was also full of amenities. We were able to cook in, walk to the small beach overlooking the twin lights, and were close to everything wonderful on Cape Ann.

My favorite stay in my lifetime (I am 73)).. It just instantly felt like home. Spacious, comfortable, safe, tranquil, accomodating and in a home where love was. Beautiful inside and out. Could hear the ocean from our windows and smell the salt air. The owners were attentive and gave us privacy too. Just precious, relaxing and healing in terms of soul and spirit. We were so blessed to be there.

Quiet spacious and clean one bedroom with huge kitchen. Located under the owner’s home

Great location near beaches and quiet roads to walk. Somewhat Disappointed in the king bed which is twins attached. The space felt a little dark but the rainy weather surely didn’t help. Otherwise very peaceful.

Beautiful place!

We loved this location. Jim met us on arrival and show us around. The place is gorgeous. Beautiful space with everything you could possibly want for a stay. It was so quiet and peaceful there.It’s only about 5 minutes from BearskinNeck in Rockport and under 10 minutes to Gloucesters waterfront.The apartment was well stocked with anything you might need and the 5G internet was lightning fast. We’d recommend this place to anyone looking for casual elegance and peaceful solitude. Highly recommend .Thank you Jim. We loved the place.

Fabulous location

Property was very spacious, and had everything you need. Only thing that was missing was a washer and dryer. Owner was very nice and helpful. The bathroom had heated floors. The decor was very artsy. Very very peaceful. Would stay again.

Great location

We’ve been coming to Rockport properties for years. This is our favorite: well located but quiet. An up to date kitchen, an elegant bathroom, very comfortable firm bed. Hope to return.
