The place was absolutely perfect with beautiful views of Rockport harbor and the ocean beyond. It was fun to be on Bearskin Neck with private reserved parking a short walk away. The living room, porches on all sides, kitchen, bedroom -- everything about the place was wonderful. And Eyvie, the host, was delightful!

If you’re looking for a relaxing stay in the heart of Rockport, this is the place. The apartment is modern, stylish and comfortable with great views of the working harbor. The host, Eydie is warm and welcoming. A great place to unwind and enjoy what Rockport has to offer.

We had the best experience while renting from Eydie! She was the most gracious hostess and offered numerous special touches to make us feel so welcome! We look forward to returning very soon. I would recommend this to anyone who was interested in vacationing in the area!

This property was everything it was described to be and MORE! My wife and I spent hours just sitting on the deck watching as the boats left and returned later to unload their catch of the day. The view was spectacular. The sunrises were exceptional. Eydie was a host unlike any we have ever had before. Her attention to detail and making sure our vacation was everything we hoped for was unmatched by anyone we have ever met before on our travels. If you want to explore the Cape Ann area, this is a perfect place to stay. The property was VERY clean, and the kitchen was very well stocked. If you want a place to stay that goes above and beyond your expectations, then this is the place to stay. My wife and l will definitely book this property again in the future.

Beautiful unit in ideal location, with Motif right outside the patio windows onto one of three decks. Not for those with mobility issues as there are three levels of stairs to climb and it's a good five minute walk to parking. It's a bit challenging to find the unit to start, but host is readily reachable should you need assistance and guidance, A beautiful, well appointed apartment and worth the initial uncertainty.

Unique and picturesque location. Lots of light. Amazing view of harbor from 3rd floor deck. Comfortable. The 3rd floor location was a bit of a climb, but we managed. We appreciated the complimentary wine.

We had a wonderful time. The view was fantastic with the fish house and the lobster boats. The kitchen was well stock and the bed comfortable.

Great spot in Rockport.

Can't beat the location if you enjoy Rockport. Very nice rental and surrounding decks made for a lovely weekend.

Tranquility

We were looking for a place on the water to just relax, this place was perfect. It was also a central location to several day trips. The place was clean and very relaxing with excellent views. We will definitely stay here again.

To say this place is great would be an understatement! To say the host was great would also be an understatement!! The pictures that are in the advertisement do not do it justice. The views are impeccable, the furniture is inviting and the bedroom is beyond comfortable. The outdoor decks allow you to enjoy every angle, and the patio furniture is clean and comfortable!! You will need for nothing. Eydie has given much attention to every detail needed for your stay here. Yes, the 3 flights of stairs can be a challenge but remember this review….do NOT over pack like I did….she has everything you could need. My next visit (and YES, I will stay again) will simply be 1 personal bag (ok, maybe another bag for my painting goodies as it’s an artists heaven) and therefore the stairs will be easy! Don’t be hesitant about the parking. It’s a SHORT walk away, and I found it to be a very safe environment. This abode can be a retreat of peace or you can jump right into the action, strolling on Bearskin Neck. There is nothing like catching the sunrise or collecting the sea glass on Front beach, and Eydie’s place is the PERFECT spot to facilitate your trip!! It’s always a bit unsettling when choosing an unknown place….DONT HESITATE!! This is a 12 out of 10!Eydie, you are the best treasure found at Rockport!! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!

Late fall getaway in Rockport

Great location and host! Wonderful views all around from the decks and big windows. Delicious food options and eclectic shops all within walking distance. Quintessential New England coastal town with a lot of life and tons of history. We love the area and hope to return someday soon.

Great getaway

Great hostess, amazing location, great space and decks as you can manage the three flights of stairs. interior needs updating and a new mattress but overall place was great and kitchen is well stocked.

Harbor Hideaway

We had a fantastic stay! The location, overlooking a working fishing harbor, views of the water and outer islands on one side and Bearskin Neck and the Cove on the other side, and walking distance to shops and restaurants makes this the perfect place to stay. The unit was spacious and we felt at home as soon as we walked in the door - you will not want to leave. We are already planning our next visit.

Wonderful!

What a wonderful, well-appointed, restful spot! This is a lovely apartment, with an exceptional view of the harbor. It is perfect for a relaxing and rejuvenating vacation. And Eydie is an extraordinary host, one who is very responsive to questions and needs.
