Why Mountain Heaven is perfect for couples or young families

Mountain Heaven is a beautifully decorated 2 bedroom/1 bath cabin that sits on 2+ acres with views of the Rich Mountain Wilderness from the front door. Surrounded by native mountain laurels, the cabin is within walking distance of the Benton MacKaye Trail for those avid hikers. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed while the second bedroom has a daybed with a trundle--great for small children. Come enjoy this inviting setting which is conveniently located between Blue Ridge and Ellijay where there's plenty of shopping, wineries, and great restaurants to visit. Then relax at the end of the day with a soak in the hot tub. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, and utensils to make that perfect meal if you would rather stay indoors and simply enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding the cabin. Don't miss an opportunity to enjoy everything the North Georgia mountains has to offer!

A cozy getaway

This cozy little cabin was perfect for a long weekend anniversary getaway. The host was very detailed in everything and was so easy to work with. I even forgot some personal things in the dresser only to realize about an hour after we left. I texted her and she very graciously collected the things and sent them to me that same day.

Great Long Weekend..

The cabin was exactly as described, very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Upon arrival there was an issue with the hot tub but Sandy was able to reach out to someone and they quickly solved the issue. Really loved our stay as it was very relaxing and the hot tub was awesome! Great communication as well..

Cozy cabin

The cabin was very clean and well appointed the decorations were just adorable love the fireplace and the hot tub. The view from the front porch sitting on the swing was magnificent.!

Nice cabin

The cabin is down a nice twisty road, somewhat secluded with a neighbor across the street and a few cabins visible through the trees. It has a wonderful view from the front porch. The kitchen is adequate for most two person meals and the bed is soft with a squeaky frame.

Heavenly getaway

Cozy and well-appointed cabin in a wonderful location with close proximity to Blue Ridge, GA, Ellijay, the AT, and Ocoee River outfitters. The best part is that Doug and Sandy welcomed our Labradors. That is so refreshing for those of us who are responsible pet owners, but our fur babies' size is a hindrance. Thank you! We loved it and highly recommend!

We had the best time staying in this sweet cabin. We got the treat of sitting on the porch one night as it rained and watching deer very close by. No complaints whatsoever!

Mountain Heaven Blue Ridge

Mountain Heaven is a Beautiful place to stay. The name fits this cabin. Tucked up in the mountains is what I loved about it. Very clean, the decor is very nice and if you forgot something it’s probably there. Owners are there if you need them. You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. I highly recommend.

32nd Wedding Anniversary Celebration

The road to the cabin is a little treacherous in a standard car. The cabin was perfect for me and my wife, away from everything and quiet. It was a short drive to Blue Ridge which made thigs convenient.

Birthday Celebration!

We had a great stay at Mountain Heaven! Everything you needed was there! Hot tub was great it kept temperature and was well working! Cozy at night sitting in front of the fireplace and Sandy was a blessing to work with! She went out of her way to send me pictures specific to a surprise trip gift I was doing and always responded in a timely manner! Definitely 5 stars and if I could give 6 I would. We will be staying again in the future! Thank You for a great stay and great memories

A great little cabin. Perfect for 2 people. The driveway in is a bit rough in places. But our mini van handled it no problem

Cozy stay

It definitely was deep in the mountains so having a 4wd was helpful. The pictures of the place were everything we saw in person. We had everything we needed for our stay. When we entered the cabin we were greeted by the soft warm lighting of the cabin. There was also a cute Christmas tree in the living room. Nice added touch.The jacuzzi was on the lower level so having the 2 bathrobes they provided came in handy. Honestly the cabin was super cozy and perfect for the two of us. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay, and will be back

Cabin was very clean, and everything was as it was described in the post. Sandy, the host was extremely helpful and went above and beyond as far as I was concerned. I lost directions to the cabin and it was quite late when I contacted her and she immediately sent the directions to me. Very much appreciated.

Mountain Heaven Cabin

This cabin had everything we needed for our stay. It was cozy and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub too. Loved the location, close to town. The gated deck was a plus for our dog too. Owner responded quickly to messages. We loved the cabin, highly recommended!

Beautiful cabin!

First of all, Sandy and her husband are amazing. Due to some very unfortunate planning on our part, there was a bit of confusion around check in. Sandy was incredibly gracious and flexible, and just made our stay. As for the cabin, it’s a delightful place. Low-riding vehicles may have difficulty getting there on the dirt road in one or two places but otherwise it’s not bad. The cabin was comfortable, the jacuzzi worked wonderfully, the location was quiet. We saw plenty of wildlife and absolutely loved it. Highly recommend.

We fell in love with this part of North Georgia mountains after vacationing here numerous times over our 20+ years of marriage. We bought our first small cabin for a weekend getaway for ourselves in the summer of 2016 and have since moved to Ellijay full-time. We wanted to share our love of the area by buying and renting cabins that we know our guests will enjoy as much as we did during our many vacations here. Mountain Heaven is our second rental which we purchased in April of 2017.

We purchased Mountain Heaven because of it's location within a quaint log cabin community between Blue Ridge and Ellijay. It's perfectly situated between the two towns and convenient to shopping and restaurants, combined with the beauty and seclusion of the outdoors.
