Needed a 3 night stay for work. Location and price were great. Old farmhouse where we only had time to shower and sleep due to work.

Wonderful place to stay. Close to town, yet quite and relaxed. Highly recommend this place for a getaway. Reminded me of times past when things were more colorful and interesting.

Great old farmhouse. Cathy was an excellent host. Close to shops. Clean and comfortable accommodations. Loved the swing by the creek. Great way to unwind. I would definitely recommend this property. Loved the history behind the house.

Cathy was amazing and the farm house was exactly what we needed. We had no issues and our grandson absolutely wants to come back to see more nature. Highly recommend for a laid back quiet time.

Our stay was perfect! The farm house is a perfect place to stay while exploring Blueridge . The property is absolutely beautiful. The gazebo by the creek is so peaceful . The back story of the property was a joy to read and made us appreciate the house even more. Our four legged companion enjoyed her walks around the property. Cathy was a great host!

If you want to travel back in time and touch base with your grandparents and great grand parents's era, smell the smells of a house that has been lived in and loved, full of children, fresh cooking, and period era furnishings - RUSH to book the Cox Farmhouse! The hosts made us feel at home and welcome on the entire property from the start. The creek, field, garden, paths, and sitting areas are so relaxing. Time is slower on this farm and it was just what we needed.This is also a great base for travel to the wonderful State Parks, Waterfalls, Smoky Mountains, Helen, Elijah, and more. Shorter day trips are easy and still give you time to go back to the stillness of the farm and take a nap before having a lazy evening sitting and watching fire flys by the creek. Thank you for giving us this place to "come home."

We didn’t end up making it out to Blue Ridge and staying here due to weather/our own situation, but Cathy was incredibly responsive, helpful, and accommodating to our needs in both the planning process (traveling with toddlers) and in managing the complications we encountered. Clearly cares about making a smooth and comfortable stay for her guests and goes out of her way to help.

Cathy was an amazing host! She checked-in on us and made us feel like family! We came to Blue Ride on our “Babymoon” before our son was born. We cannot wait to take him here as he grows up! We LOVED our stay!! Make sure to check out the gazebo and feed the goats!!

We loved staying at the farmhouse! Communication with Cathy was excellent! The property is beautiful &our daughter loved exploring, sitting by the creek, & visiting the goats. The farmhouse was so cozy & decorated with Christmas everywhere!

Roomy comfortable country stay near NW GA outdoors. Blue Ridge is cute town with plenty of coffee shops and food. Helen Christmas Alpine area just a hour away. Very laid back and relaxing. Great host.

As I write this review I am trying to choose my words wisely. I don't want to hurt no one's business but I feel That people need to know . When entered the home they were a overwhelming smell of mold, musky and mildew. I understand this is a old farm house I have stayed in other farmhouses and have never smelled anything like this in them. The host did explain that the renters before us had let the bath tub over flow. Maybe that was some of the problem I am not sure. Also they were only one key and you had to go through the basement to lock the door. None of the upstairs doors had keys to them. This felt unsafe to 4 ladies traveling together. I called the host and explained to her we were not going to stay because of the smell. She ask what she could do to make it right. I ask that she would return our money and she had no problem refunding our money.The only reason I share this is because someone with allergies may have issues staying here.

I am not sure why this review is allowed because these folks did not stay the night, in fact only an hour or so, although they did use kitchen and leave trash, all while getting a 100% refund. We have had a very wet summer and a lot of humidity but no other guest has complained of any mold or mildew smell. The over flow was just fresh water that we got up in basement. As to security, all the doors have locks, just have to enter by key through basement. Also, my husband and I live on the farm property just a few steps away if there are any concerns. Please check out the five star reviews before and after this cancellation.

Our stay at the farmhouse was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The property was beautiful, peaceful, and exactly what we were looking for in a mountain getaway. The farmhouse was spotless, cozy, and full of charm while still offering all the modern comforts we needed.One of our favorite things was the quiet country setting. Waking up to the scenic views, enjoying coffee on the porch, and listening to the sounds of nature made for a truly relaxing experience. It felt like an escape from the hustle and bustle while still being conveniently located near downtown Blue Ridge, shopping, restaurants, and local attractions.The home was well-equipped, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. Every detail showed the care and pride the owners take in providing a wonderful guest experience. The beds were comfortable, the living spaces were inviting, and the entire property felt warm and welcoming.The hosts were exceptional—friendly, responsive, and committed to making sure our stay was perfect. Their hospitality made us feel right at home.This farmhouse exceeded our expectations in every way. Booked a weekend trip and it was lovely. Yes the house is old but adds on to the charm!! The owners are great and right around the corner! The place is very close to the downtown shops and restaurants which is very convenient. We would highly recommend this place to others and hopefully we will book a stay again in the future:)

Wonderful stay on a picturesque property, in a historic home lovingly maintained by the same family that not only grew up in it, but has called this area their own for generations. With a mineral spring bubbling up next to the house, two mountain streams coursing through the property, and lush farmland surrounding you, it’s the perfect place to relax, sit back on the porch swing, and immerse yourself in one of the few places left that captures the authentic character of these mountains, and the people who for so long have called this land home.

This rental was absolutely perfect for a sister reunion weekend! The farmhouse was exactly as described and the location was incredible! We had easy access to everywhere we wanted to go, and the house was lovely to come back to. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. Everything was amazing, I would definitely come back!
