6/18 /23, Most of the building has been remolded since the hurricanes but the POOL is NOT open at this time. Construction is still working on pool. What it does offer is a beautiful sunrise from your PRIVATE balcony or beach access just footsteps away.
Clean oceanfront condo. Two queen beds, 1 queen/murphy ( orthopedic mattress), One queen pull-out sofa bed. 1 full split bathroom, vanity separate from tub/shower, and commode. Saves time while other takes shower. Full kitchen with all appliances (toaster, can opener, blender, microwave, full refrigerator, coffee maker, mixer ) everything you need to fix your favorite meal. Dining table seats four. Forty-two inch SMART TV with three HBO channels. Free WiFi. This is a second-floor unit with steps or elevator access. My favorite is, waking up and catching a beautiful sunrise.
The resort features a remolded fitness center with a great ocean view and coin washers/dryers, all with elevator access.
So bring your bathing suit and enjoy one of the most beautiful spots on the beach. You will enjoy the convenience of shops, restaurants, miniature golf, and nightlife all within walking distance, or hop on the city bus to other attractions.

It’s right on the beach you have to walk around side for access. Each room has a balcony with a view. Condos, are still under construction and the pool was still closed so if you're looking for a pool this is not the place to be right now. But for the price it was a very nice and clean had everything you needed an the bed was very comfortable pillows not so much? We would go back once the pool is back open.

Clean with an awesome view

Had an issue with the shower. The owners were so helpful and responsive. Then even came out on Easter Sunday to make sure we were comfortable. The view is private and amazing. Right across the bridge gives it easy access and right on the water. Great people and very attentive

Great stay

Great smaller studio condo. Was perfect for our 4 day trip to the area for a wedding. Awesome views from the balcony! Watched sunrise several mornings. Had exactly what we needed for this trip. Communication was excellent as well!

I was very happy with my stay. Very clean. Location close to restaurants and grocery store. Morning sunrises were amazing. Tina was a gem to work with. Answered any questions promptly with detail.

Good rates, not the most comfortable.

The price was pretty good for the length of our stay. The property's pool was closed. The room was a little outdated, but most basic amenities were fine. The murphy bed was very uncomfortable and resulted in many chiropractor visits upon return. Overall, it was a good value for a room if you plan to spend most of your time out.

Kitchen utensils, silverware, dishes, & equipment totally disorganized. Not a complete set of anything. Coffee maker & toaster missing parts. Not a (1) bedroom main complaint. Great location & clean.

Clean and comfortable with fantastic view

The accommodations were good. The space was clean and comfortable. The balcony is a plus! The area is ripe with stores and restaurants. Check in was not flawless. I never received a unit number nor entry code. Calls and texts to owner went unanswered for nearly 30 minutes. I had to contact VRBO customer support. They too couldn’t contact owner. I was on the phone awaiting another property when I finally got the info I needed from the owner. After this all went well. It’s just a bit unnerving arriving at a place at 5:30 PM on a weekend night and feeling stranded. VRBO customer service was spectacular. They put me at ease.

vacation stay at Pirates Cove Feb./March 2018

rate the condo as 4 1/2 stars. Tina the owner is wonderful. She communicated with me throughout the entire stay when we were in need. The condo is clean and neat. The bed is very comfortable ( you must watch the bottom edge of bed frame so you do not trip or stub toes) Kitchen area is small but sufficient. (need room to do dishes and store groceries and difficulty reaching into top cupboards to find things, possibly a fold up step stool would help. Only 1set of keys need 2 sets. More room needed to hang and put clothes. Drawers that could be used are storing many items as of games, kids flip flops ect. The condo is very safe, location is great, view of ocean is wonderful, and people are friendly. Tina made our stay very enjoyable. She also left us take out menus and coupons fore use. She is very thoughtful. Also great bang for your buck!

Great oceanfront view and location. Lifeguard tower staffed year round.
Enjoy the sunrise, on your oceanfront balcony or just a few steps away you can be on the beach. Restaurants, shopping, fishing, activities, Starbucks, CVS and 7 Eleven all within walking distance. Coin operated washer and dryers on property. A grocery store is about 1 mile away. There is City bus service, taxi or Uber available. I also take great pride in my unit being clean and free of bugs.
