Log Cabin on the Hudson

Enjoy the serenity and relaxation offered at this beautiful Hudson River location. "The River House," as we refer to it, is a beautiful log cabin surrounded by mountain views, river views, and wood views. Take a seat on the front lawn and enjoy the tranquility of the river.

The River House's location is central to many area attractions, such as Lake George, Six Flags, Gore Mountain, and Saratoga Race Track.

The owners are located nearby for any questions or assistance you may need. A pack and play is available.

There are three external surveillance cameras located on the property. Two are located on the corner of the cabin pointing towards the garage. One is outside on the side of the house facing the propane tank fill station. The cameras are disarmed when the house is occupied.

We had a quick weekend trip. House was clean. It had everything we needed to cook. Hot tub was nice and clean. Great view and nice property.

The house was beautiful, and well equipped. Close to the village in Lake George, but a beautiful country setting. Was there during an extremely hot week in August and the house was very comfortable .

The house was reasonably clean, but the property had a large dead tree right off the main door, and the walk way and deck had many pine needles and sand that was easily tracked into the house. We were surprised and disappointed by multiple holes in the bathroom and bedroom walls that were unpatched/unpainted. The master bathroom didn't even have a toilet paper holder...we could see where it was supposed to go by the gapping hole next to the toilet, but we were left to reach for TP from a towel holder above us, or the ground.We did enjoy the jacuzzi and appreciated the extra towels for use with that and our other swim excursions in the area. Attention to the above details, and a little updating to fixtures and decor could make this cabin great, but for us it was just ok.

Multigenerational family

Perfect house for elderly parents who needed first floor bedroom and bathroom along with my two teen boys who loved the bunkbeds. View was incredible, and we really enjoyed eating on the deck.

Beautiful log cabin in a very peaceful setting on the Hudson River. We spent most of the time on the large deck in the front of the cabin with a river view. Lots of swimming and fishing steps away. Easy drive to Lake George. Great communication with host. Highly recommend!

Guys weekend

We loved our stay at this place. The location is great and it’s a short drive to lake George. Great fire pit and lots of room. The deck overlooks the Hudson River which is great for fishing. The host was awesome. She got back to me very quickly on a lot of questions that I asked. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay on the Hudson

The property was perfect for our trip (two families with three kids). Very clean and the only issue we had was no cell service and spotty internet which given the location is to be expected. Great view of the Hudson river and a perfect location for our trip (we went to both Gore Mountain and Lake George).

Winter Weekend

Stayed here for a weekend family get away. House was perfect for our size. Beautiful location on the Hudson. Close to downtown and a 15 minute drive to the center of Lake George. If we ever return to the area we will absolutely book house again.

Very cozy house, quiet and isolated with a wonderful view of the Hudson river. A fantastic place to spend a rainy October weekend watching movies, making dinner and enjoying the hot tub. Thanks for the great experience!

Near everything Lake George and still secluded by nature

Xmas Trip

Everything was so pleasant and cozy in the mountains! Loved the hot tub and proximity of activities to do. However, it would have been great if both bathrooms had shampoo/conditioner/body wash to use just in case. Other than that, the stay was wonderful!
