My family of five just spent 5 glorious days on this property. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The home is clean, lots of room, excellent views and you have everything you could need for a fun family vacation. The river area is beautiful with a large fire pit and incredible views of the Hudson. I can’t recommend this property enough! Thank you so much!

I’ve stayed at quite a few places for business trips and family trips and I haven’t say this place was truly amazing. Everyone was very attentive to our needs. The place was fully stacked with all the things. Would absolutely stay here again in the future

Very clean, comfortable definitely home away from home. Our dog absolutely loved it. Being so close to the river was perfect. John was amazing giving us fantastic hiking recommendations! Definitely would love to go back. Absolutely beautiful.

We were so happy to come back to this amazing property and see Sue and John again after our first visit 3 years ago. The carriage house is beautiful, clean, well stocked and so cozy and comfy. It’s a great location with amazing views of the Hudson on this expansive private property. Sue also gives the best recommendation of things to do in the area that were perfect for our family. Can’t wait to come back again!

Hosts on location are very friendly and go above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable . The girls love playing with the dogs pearl and ruby. Been coming for several years and plan to return.

Excellent stocked kitchen, warm fireplace. Spotlessly cleaned. We loved it! Had everything we could have possibly needed. Warm, comfortable, and beautiful scenery.

Super clean house. Kitchen is well stocked and a joy to cook in and user friendly. Living space very comfortable for a few people and nice fire place. Bathroom warm and well appointed. Master bedroom great size, had wonderful sleeps every night.

We traveled with our daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren ages 7 and 8. There was more than enough room for all of us. The house was well supplied with all we needed, from cooking supplies to beach towels for playing in the river which we all enjoyed! The property was very quiet and peaceful. Sue, the property caretaker, was so friendly and helpful. Communication with her and the owners was excellent especially when there was a glitch with the air conditioning. They were very fast to respond and did all they could to get it working. We visited Lake George and Saratoga while in the area, there is much to do in the surrounding area and it was great to have such a secluded, peaceful location to return to. Being a pet friendly location, we wish we would have taken our pups along. We will when we visit again. We would highly recommend staying here and we hope to return again soon.

Great accomodations close to Gore Mt

Our family stayed at this property when we skied at Gore for a few days. It was comfortable for our family of 5 and had everything we needed.

Wonderful place!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful access to the outdoors and river. Very clean and spacious accommodations and helpful friendly caretakers. Highly recommend!

A Lovely Retreat

Our family loved our time here. It was exactly the quiet we were looking for, and centrally located for the sites we were wanting to visit- Lake Placid, the High Peaks and Lake George. The hosts were exceptional, offering restaurant and activity suggestions, and made us feel very welcome during our stay.
