Cozy Family Friendly Lake View Home w / Easy Trip to Town & Beach

A cozy year round private log cabin home located in downtown Bolton Landing. The house has stunning views of Lake George and its mountains and is set in completed privacy from any neighbors. If a relaxing quiet vacation home is what you are looking for...this is it!

The house has recently been renovated with brand new stainless steel appliances in kitchen and new floors throughout (hardwood in living room, tile in kitchen, and carpet in bedrooms). You couldn't ask for a better location on Lake George: we are a 5 minute walk to town which includes beaches, parks, boat rentals, activities, restaurants, bars, shops & much more. This is the perfect location for a family friendly holiday.

The house has three bedrooms and two baths (1 in master & 1 main) and a very large loft area on 2nd floor. There is a king bed in master, a queen bed in each of the 2 guest rooms and two single beds in loft providing sleeping for 8 comfortably. Additionally, the 2nd floor loft area has plenty of space for blow up mattress if needed. We also have a pack-n-play and a highchair for the little ones. The house has two porches which are perfect for sitting and enjoying the views or barbequing with the family. We have high speed wireless internet and multiple cable televisions including HBO & Showtime. The driveway is very large and can easily accommodate multiple vehicles.

The house is centrally located in the beautiful town of Bolton Landing on stunning Lake George. Enjoy all the lake has to offer year round! The house is a 5 minute walk to town, restaurants, parks, playgrounds, shops and beaches. There are multiple marinas very close by for boating rentals and other water activities. The house is a short drive to Lake George Village, Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom, Gore and West Mountain Ski area, etc.

Our family enjoys staying at this cabin in Bolton's Landing and enjoying the Lake George area. The cabin is great for our two families to stay together with plenty of room to relax.

Stayed with our family 5 of us. Very comfortable and roomy. Loft with 2 single beds wonderful fir the teens. Host very attentive, location amazing.

Everything was perfectly as described. An older house and property but perfect for our needs and exactly as described. Super friendly and easy to work with. It is located next to the waste treatment facility and there was a mild odor at times. But nothing that was overly bothersome or interfered with our stay. Would definitely stay there again!

There was not a single thing g to complain about. The house was absolutely clean and perfect for our family of 7 adults. Scott was very responsive to any messages/questions we may have had. The house has a beautiful view and porch. We loved the firepit and the house had all amenities needed. Yes...sewage plant is nearby but hardly noticed, truly. We would absolutely rent this home again. Walking distance to town but secluded enough for complete privacy. Thank you, Scott for having us!

Property is within walking distance of town, but up a rather steep hill so we chose to drive the short distance to town and park. House has a great view of the lake, but unfortunately we were unable to utilize the outdoor space due to the smell from the sewage treatment plant next door. We also had an issue with a water alarm beeping and it took a little while to get in contact with the host to get it resolved, but we were able to ultimately fix the issue.

We loved this cozy cabin. It was even better in person than on the website! It was well stocked with everything we needed and the beds were SO comfy!! Scott was an attentive host. When I had a few questions he always got back to me very quickly! Oh, I forgot about the view from the back deck…AMAZING!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house- plenty of room for all of us and the location was perfect. We walked into town and it was just a short drive into Lake George Village. The house had everything we needed and we’d definitely stay here again.

there were no blinds or curtains pn the windows. It just felt less private at night.

There are blackout blinds in all the bedrooms. There is no reason for blinds in living area as house it set in complete privacy with no neighbors and can't be seen from the road. This allows for better views of the lake and mountains.

The cabin was rustic, but clean, with a lovely view of Lake George through the trees. The bathrooms and the kitchen were somewhat updated and completely functional. There was a large back porch and a lovely deck off the living room, as well as a fire pit on the lawn with a circle of Adirondack chairs. The location was private. What was NOT revealed in the VRBO description of the property is that it is right next to a sewage treatment plant!!! The consistent stench from the treatment plant was so strong that it gave us headaches and made our eyes water. It was completely impossible to sit on the deck or the porch, or to use the yard and fire pit. We couldn’t open any of the windows, and the odor even slipped through the vents in the air conditioning units in the bedrooms so that we slept fitfully, unable to escape the smell.We rented the cabin because we were in Lake George for a family wedding. We did not have the time to look for alternate lodging, which would likely have been unavailable at the last minute on a beautiful August weekend in that area. The horrible smell that permeated the air around and in the house ruined the time that we spent there. This issue should have been disclosed to potential renters; had I known about it, I never would have rented this cabin.
