Fantastic experience! All reports about the property were true. Host is a dear! Activities for kids were legion and they had a great time. The view was amazing, the rooms were clean and spacious! The convenience to other activities and the town center was perfect. I would love to stay here longer and again!

Gramma Rikki's place is the best

Gorgeous property with fun swimming for the kids and quiet deck over looking the waters below. So much space for all of us, and Gramma Rikki was available for all our needs.

Wonderful family vacation destination! The house and surroundings inspired family fun on the lake, relaxing bbq dinners on the porches, and quiet time for napping. The home was spacious and family friendly for all ages. Gramma Rikki was a lovely host - so easy to work with!

Beautiful property. Enjoyed the view while sitting outdoors to dine. Near Limekiln state park where we saw Orcas two different days of our stay.

This venue is the most amazing!! It was perfect for us. We had a 7 and 4 year old. The outdoor playset! They loved it. We ate dinner on the second floor deck looking out at the lake and towards Canada. Gramma Rikki is a very gracious host! Friday Harbor is a sweet town with great shopping and eating! We will absolutely return. Beautiful accommodations, beautiful host, beautiful surroundings! Thank you Grandma Rikki

60th and 27th birthday- 7 family members

Our stay was lovely. Gramma Rikki was warm and welcoming and the house exceeded expectations. So much to do on the property and on San Juan Island.

Beautiful Property Excellent Host

Our daughter and 6 grandsons stayed at Grandma Rikki's in Friday Harbor & it was a blast!! So much to do on the property for all 6 kids ages 3-13!! Beds were super comfy, kitchen was well stocked, the view was amazing and Grandma Rilki was very welcoming. We will be back one day!!!

Rikki is a gracious host. She met us as we arrived and gave us a tour of the property. The grounds are beautiful and expansive. There is some poison oak so be aware of where you're walking. Rikki does live next door on the property but she's very respectful of other's privacy and we didn't see her except for arranged visits to drop off more household items.The house is very large and has lots of space for family units. There was a little sound transfer but very minimal. I could sometimes hear my grand daughter cry but it was very faint. Our dogs loved walking the property on leash and Rikki even supplied a long rope so they could do some running. My grandson loved playing on the playset. He asked to go down the slide daily.The property is actually closer to the very cute town of Roche Harbor (15 mins) than Friday Harbor (20 mins). It's a bit of a drive so we planned our trips and spent a lot of time on or near the property. Overall my family had a relaxing vacation and even managed do some some actual reading!

The house and grounds were beautiful. There was a lot for the kids to do. Accommodations were comfortable. The house had everything we needed. We would definitely return.

Beautiful home on a beautiful island!

Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property. The home is fully equipped and has many activities great for the whole family (pool table, ping pong, trampoline, beautiful lake, etc.). We Bbq’d and ate on the large, ocean view deck almost every night. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway on this gorgeous island.

Gramma Rikki is the best!!!

My best friend and I celebrated our birthday at Gramma Rikki’s house. It’s a really amazing property with very comfortable beds. Loved the ocean views from the deck and the hot tub. Five stars!!

Great multi-generational family vacation!

our family of 10 (grandparents, parents and kids aged 8-14) had a great stay at Gramma Rikki's. The pond was so fun for kids to kayak, swim and paddle in. The beds were incredibly comfortable so all slept well. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Everyone loved it!

stress Release

Our annual Family Vacation, where we all get together in a relaxed, non-rushed itinerary. The kids exclaimed that this was the best we ever did. We've been to the seashore, the mountains, a river, and a lake. The kids are asking if we can go back to Gramma Rikki's house.

Such a wonderful home the photos do not do it justice!

You will love this home, don’t hesitate to book. The pond was so beautiful and provided hours of fun for the kids. Park is a short walk down the road and home is centrally located on the island.

Family Gathering

This place was perfect for a multi-generational family gathering. The youngest kids enjoyed the pond-like pool. Adults and older kids had fun playing pool. Everyone appreciated the comfortable and beautiful setting with plenty of opportunities for folks to gather or find a little quieter time for themselves.
