Hot Tub! Beautiful Water View Home! (WVP)

Water View Place -Hot Tub! This cozy and contemporary southwest-facing home offers a stunning view of Haro Strait and the Olympic Mountains. Spectacular water views make it ideal for seasonal whale watching. High vaulted ceilings expand this multi- bedroom home. The modern kitchen is well-stocked to make meal planning a breeze and offer a fantastic view while doing so. Guests can eat at the breakfast bar or enjoy the adjacent dining table seated by the southwest facing windows.

The comfortable living room offers seating for everyone to enjoy a movie or show on the Smart TV. Family time can be shared on the deck with the 4-seater table and BBQ.

There is a bathroom on each floor conveniently located by the bedrooms. Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms on either side of the full bathroom: the primary bedroom to your right with a private deck, and the Queen guest bedroom to the left. Downstairs you will find the 3/4 bathroom down the hall from the additional room equipped with a Queen bed. The downstairs of this home also boasts a newly remodeled game room! A pool table and ping pong table (can be converted) and a foosball table are supplied for guest-use! A gas fireplace and wood floors add to the warmth of this home making it perfect for all seasons.

This home does not have Air Conditioning. Opening the deck doors to let the ocean breeze in is adequate to cool this home.

Water View Place is nearby to beaches and hiking trails. Just 5 minutes down the road you will find historic American Camp, Mt. Finlayson, South Beach, or the Cape San Juan Lighthouse. (Discover Pass required at some locations)
**Please Note** Though the home is very private, there are caretakers living in a separate cabin on the property. The living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms are located on the second level.

Great stay!

We and our two small children had a fantastic time in this beautiful home. It was well equipped and the views were fantastic. Definitely recommend and we hope to come back!

Friday Harbor Getaway

Beautiful, solid home stocked with everything needed for a great stay. We spent eleven days warm and cozy despite the inclement weather watching fox and bald eagles. Hosts were exceptionally thoughtful and kind.

Tranquil and relaxing

Foxy!!!!

My goodness! This place was absolutely stunning! Very tranquil. Clean! The host, Debbie and Steve were awesome! Very well stocked and they have an amazing game room downstairs. The view was gorgeous and the added visits by Fox everyday to greet us were adorable to watch. If you want a quiet Place to get away, this is the place, not too far from anything..Thank you for an amazing experience and sharing your beautiful home!

A Magical San Juan Destination

This property was a magical backdrop to our family vacation. It was our first trip to San Juan, and the perfect introduction to all the island has to offer. It was located close to nearby adventures (a short walk to the beach and a short drive to American Camp and Friday Harbor — don’t miss out on 4th of July Beach!). The views from the deck were stunning, and the whole family appreciated the gift basket, game room, and watching the foxes at dusk. The hosts were very welcoming, and we only wish we could have stayed longer!

Gorgeous location and sweet house

We had a wonderful time at this lovely and well stocked house on the southern end of San Juan Island. The house is situated in a gorgeous location with views of the Olympics and Canada and close to the best of San Juan Island (south end, west side) in our opinion. The house is very well maintained and stocked - comfortable for a family and friends. The game room was awesome with foosball, pool and ping pong. One of the best places we've stayed - a real gem - and the owners were very kind and welcoming.

Island Fun!

Loved the island and the home was really nice! Wish we had more information on where we could take a walk. Also was disappointed we couldn’t check in a bit early since we checked out at 5am. Otherwise, the property is nice! They left an abundance of snacks and lots of tea, hot coach and coffee!

Far enough out that you feel piece of mind, but accessible to a lot of great San Juan tourist spots. Friendly owners - the husband built this house. Only reservation is that it has 1 bathroom.

The view of the water was stunning. We loved how quiet and remote it felt whilst only being a short drive from Friday Harbor. The hot tub was great and our kids loved playing on the grass outside. We really didn't want to leave.

The owners were so great and accommodating, and made us feel very well taken care of. The downstairs floors are heated, which helped keep it nice and warm in the downstairs bedroom. The spa was awesome, and the views were to die for. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful, Comfortable Self-Isolation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Needing to remove ourselves from Seattle during the CV crisis we happened upon the Cutting's beatiful property. It was well equipped for four of us and could have easily handled six. The space was inviting to relax and do things inside but also set in a great piece of property with sweeping views of the Pacific and positioned to take long walk along the cliff side or down to the water. The amenities are tremendous: gas stove, propane grill, plenty of kitchen equipment, a warm hottub, three different deck/patio areas, bathroom and cleaning supplies galore. We worked from home so a few things about that. This home receives satellite internet which is reasonable for a vacation but might be a bit limiting for those working from home. That being the case, it worked well for us and the space is very comfortable for three adults to be working all day in their own space. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better location, facility or stay. Thank you for being such accommodating hosts and providing us with a comfortable respite during this unique time. We hope to see you soon!
