This was a really great place for our family. It was clean and well equipped. The view was fantastic, the kids loved hot tub and pool table. We saw more bears in the immediate vicinity of the house than we did the park! On the first day, two bears in the street as we drove in, one approached and stood up next to the car checking us out! The next morning another bear in our driveway. The last morning of our stay, we awoke to a small bear on the deck sniffing around the grill. He hung out on the deck for about 30 minutes while we watched him through the windows. I'm not sure if this was common or we got lucky, but bears were all over the neighborhood mornings and early evenings. In all, we saw bears 9 different times. 3 of the 9 were very close up. It was amazing.

The place was immaculate and had gorgeous views. The stay was comfortable and was the perfect getaway for our family. It was very close to the national park and downtown Gatlinburg. The road to get up to the property was not for the faint of heart, very windy, narrow, and steep.

Thanks for your review! The road is a little steep in places, but nothing your car can't handle. We go in our Honda Accord with no problems. I recommend that guests arrive before dark. After that, the road will be more familiar to you. Thanks again!

Pleanty of room for our family to be comfortable. We traveled with 3 adult children and Grandma.Grandma was very comfortable with her main floor bedroom and bathroom. The house was perfect!

Thanks! Many guests describe interior and if they mention the outdoors it is usually to talk about the view (which they rave about), but I'm glad you mention the location. It is convenient, about 10 minutes from Gatlinburg and the National Park. We like the fact that you can drive to the Park without going through town. If you decide to stay in there is, of course, the view but also there is privacy. You can sit on one of the balconies and not see another house except in the winter when they may be visible through the trees. And the area is very quiet with only an occasional car. We're glad you liked our place! Tom

This place was awesome. The views from the back deck were breathtaking. Everything you could possibly need was supplied. The hot tub was great for nights and we saw bears everyday at the house. We will staying again next year.

We had a good time. A couple of bumps, had a cousin bail out on us the last minute. Wecmade the best of it. This was a girl trip.

We felt welcomed at this rental. The host knows what real hospitality looks like! Communication with the host was excellent. Great view of the sunrise from the deck too!
