BEAR-A-BOUT

We purchased this home because of the location, minutes to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, and Dollywood. Since we are not spring chickens anymore we wanted a home that had level parking and both master suites are on the main floor with no steps to climb. The downstairs is the game room with pool table . There is also a full bath downstairs. It's so comfy and cozy we fell in love at first sight. I hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do. The Smoky Mountains are breathtaking and there is just so much to do, whether it be hiking, skiing, bear watching, shopping, restaurants, the list is endless. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, a mixer, a blender, a Magic Bullet, a toaster, a sandwich maker, roasting pan, a steamer and more. Both master suites have queen size beds with TV in the living room and all bedrooms. All rooms have plenty of lighting, got a great hot tub, enjoy checkers in the living room and sunbathe on the large 12x16 deck. Smoking is permitted on the outside decks only please and ash trays are provided.

My family and i loved the cabin, it was very clean. 5 stars all the way, would definitely reccomend this cabin. We were visited by 3 bears our first morning.

The cabin was a great value. Clean, spacious, with pool table/checkers. I was also in a community with 3 small ponds my youngest fished in. In all it worked out great for us

Cute cabin

The house was clean and well taken care of. The owner was awesome and responded quickly. The room in the basement is a little short so beware if you plan on having a taller person stay in the basement. I could stand and I am 5ft 10 in but if I was any taller I would not be able to. The cabin is up a mountain and if you are not familiar with that beware. Also make sure to look for Boogie Bear and turn there so you don't have to turn around.This place was great especially for the price. I recommend. Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatliburg. In the middle of both one of my favorite parts.

The cabin is gorgeous, we only had a few minor concerns, we enjoyed our stay! We had lots of rain and it leaked on the basement floor. The beds were very squeaky.

Family Vacation

Looks like we will be making this our home away from home when vacationing for the foreseeable future. Grand loved it so much last year that we booked again this year and now she’s talking about booking it for next year Karen is absolutely wonderful and is quick to reply.

Would stay here again

Great location. Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Owner very communicative. Clean. We used all 3 rooms and were able to put a twin blow up by the pool table for my teen.

Family Fun

I must say we were pleasantly surprised at the ease getting to Bear-A-Bout. What a great location in-between Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. Everything you needed was in the cabin, which we happened to be in more the planned as the weather did not want to cooperate. We found the beds were comfy, showers had great pressure, kitchen was well equipped. We had one little hiccup that we had to contact Karen about and she responded almost immediately and handled the situation. She was so nice and happy to help.I would definitely recommend it to anyone want a reasonably priced place to stay for vacation. Karen, Thank you, Dave & Family

Cute cabin and great location!

We enjoyed our stay at Bear-A-About. The room in the lower level was perfect for our girls (11 and 13). They loved having their own space. The cabin was clean and had enough toilet paper and bath towels (we brought our own hot tub towels). The cabin had 3 showers, but no bathtubs. Which was fine for us, as we only take showers. We would definitely stay here again. It was perfectly located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Nice abode

The property is just outside of Pigeon Forge, closer to Gatlinburg. The place was well decorated & clean. We enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I live in Florida year around and have for the last 30 years. I have a 37 year old son, David who is my pride and joy. We both grew up in South Jersey and met and the rest is history.

When I first saw the Smoky Mountains I was hooked. Having a home in Sky Harbor means being right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The area is quiet, easy to get to but when you come down off the mountain, everything is there within minutes, turn left to go to Galinburg and right to go to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, what could be better? As they say, location, location, location ! Enjoy !

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Somehow just stepping in to the cabin, all troubles melt away, maybe it's all the pine siding on the walls or the cozy fireplace and maybe just sitting out on the back deck and looking at the mountains and trees. There is just such a sense of serenity for us. I hope you love it as much as we do
