BEAR-A-BOUT Cabin - 3 bedrooms, 3 baths with Hot Tub!

BEAR-A-BOUT

We purchased this home because of the location, minutes to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, and Dollywood. Since we are not spring chickens anymore we wanted a home that had level parking and both master suites are on the main floor with no steps to climb. The downstairs is the game room with pool table . There is also a full bath downstairs. It's so comfy and cozy we fell in love at first sight. I hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do. The Smoky Mountains are breathtaking and there is just so much to do, whether it be hiking, skiing, bear watching, shopping, restaurants, the list is endless. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, a mixer, a blender, a Magic Bullet, a toaster, a sandwich maker, roasting pan, a steamer and more. Both master suites have queen size beds with TV in the living room. There are tubs in the two master suites that are so relaxing and also there are separate showers. All rooms have plenty of lighting, got a great hot tub, enjoy checkers in the living room and sunbathe on the large 12x16 deck. Smoking is permitted on the outside decks only please and ash trays are provided.

Family vacation

Very nice and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist industry. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get away after your busy day.

Not as nice as what I expected

Not as clean as I expected, but comfortable. Easy to get to but no view of much but the neighbors. No way to clean up leaves and dirt carried in on feet. All in all we still enjoyed ourselvesI did speak with the host and she had bought a new broom but it had been inadver removed from the cabin.It really is not somewhere I would rent again, but it served the purpose.

What a awesome weekend family retreat!!!

First I must say the pictures do not do justice for this property. The home is beautiful, comfortable, cozy,well located,great hostess to deal with We can not say enought great things. Mama bear and two babys visited in the bottom every night and it was cool to watch mama bear watch her babys climb and have fun. We enjoyed the outside grill with a good suggestion to provide A light to shine over the grill area but we made do with a flashlight. OUR grandaughter loved her 11th birthday weekend gateway with our fur babys. And that is the greatest stay.

Nice abode

The property is just outside of Pigeon Forge, closer to Gatlinburg. The place was well decorated & clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Enchanted Getaway!

All 4 of us, ages above 60 enjoyed the coziness of this cabin. It had everything you needed. Beds were comfy, it was very clean, it had all the amenities listed except shampoo but no biggie on that. I think that was just an oversight by the cleaners. overall though, can't complain! Anyone that stays there will love it!

Great cabin in the mountains

It was a perfect little 3 bedroom cabin and did not break the bank. Had all the amenities you could need. Not far from Gatlinburg, pigeon fordge, or the national park. And after a long day exploring, the hot tub was the perfect place to relax. We had a great time.

Be careful

I would encourage the owners to stay a few nights in their rental. 1. The stairs to the lower level bedroom. Steep, small and unsafe. 2. If you’re taller than 5’4, you’re not able to stand up straight. This is in the lower level. 3.Place needs new pillows, soft blankets, towels, towels towel's. Maybe even hot tub towels. 4. Lower level bedroom does not have a door, tv, or fan. 5. Lower level gets damp. 6. Some windows need new screens due to holes. 7. Deep spider cleaning needed, spider webs everywhere. 8. Misleading- one tub- and not a jacuzzi tub, 9. Internet access bare to non in lower level even with WiFi. 10. Tree nuts continuously fell from the tree, hit two people in the head.

Family fun for mom.

Our stay was great. We went in on September 5th left today September 11, 2024. Clean great rooms on main level with both having queen beds and full bathrooms. Has a bedroom downstairs with full bathroom. The room downstairs is not meant for someone over 6 ft tall. Stairs are a bit steep but there was a full bathroom with shower stall and a separate room with pool table and the washer and dryer room. I was loading up this morning to leave and a huge bear walked up to the other side of my van. I got into the house but that dang thing was huge. Hot tub was nice and hot. Has full kitchen but we didn’t use anything but coffee pot, microwave and the fridge. We had so much food from the dinner shows. The GPS garmin will take you to the cabin but cell service with directions was a bit spotty going up but the cabin has WiFi. I would definitely stay again.

When I first saw the Smoky Mountains I was hooked. Having a home in Sky Harbor means being right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The area is quiet, easy to get to but when you come down off the mountain, everything is there within minutes, turn left to go to Galinburg and right to go to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, what could be better? As they say, location, location, location ! Enjoy !

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Somehow just stepping in to the cabin, all troubles melt away, maybe it's all the pine siding on the walls or the cozy fireplace and maybe just sitting out on the back deck and looking at the mountains and trees. There is just such a sense of serenity for us. I hope you love it as much as we do
