Great condo, great location! Views off the deck to Calibogue Sound and sunsets. Walk out the door to the beach or to the Salty Dog and South Beach Marina where there is live entertainment throughout the summer and on many weekends and holidays during the off-season.

The owner is a 25+ year hospitality veteran and has renovated this condo to include the high-end comforts of home and leading-edge technology. These modern refinements will make your stay relaxing and memorable: high-speed Wi-Fi, a 65” smart Samsung TV in the Living Room, a 55” smart LG TV in the Bedroom, dimmable LED lighting, and all the kitchen essentials you will need.

The condo is a second floor end unit affording privacy and a view.

The King-size bed in the Master and the Queen-size sleeper sofa bed in the Living Room are both premium gel-foam mattresses. You will sleep soundly - read the reviews! Plus, there is a full-size washer and dryer in the bedroom walk-in closet just in case you need to do laundry.

This South Beach location includes proximity to pickle ball and tennis courts. Reservations arranged through the South Beach Racquet Club. Watersports available at the South Beach Marina include paddleboards, kayaks, fishing tours, and dolphin watching. South Beach Marina also offers seasonally-operated restaurants (including the Salty Dog), gift shops, and a general store. And be sure to book a sunset cruise (best deal on the island!)

Lastly, all of the Sea Pines amenities are right at your doorstep or an easy bike ride down the leisure trails. This is a second floor end unit facing the Calibogue Sound.

Long weekend

We spent a long weekend in Hilton Head and loved this condo. It was comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. Please note that the glass sliding door off the living room needs repairs to be able to open it. Was not a major issue as we were able to gain access to the balcony from the bedroom. Thanks for everything.

Beautiful Condo

This is our 3rd stay in this beautiful condo & it never disappoints. The condo is impeccably clean, decorated with taste & always perfect when we arrive. The location is right across from the beach & The Salty Dog. Tom, the owner, is great to work with and excellent with communication. We highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for a great place to stay in Sea Pines.

Great place in Sea Pines

We booked a very last-minute stay at this great condo in Sea Pines. The location was great...walking distance to The Salty Dog. The unit itself was perfect. It was clean, modern and the right size for my husband and me. I can't say enough about our host, Tom. We had very unique circumstances surrounding our visit and he was compassionate and flexible.

Perfect!

This place was beautiful. The most comfortable bed and bedding, exceptionally clean, percent location. Even though our trip was cut short because of Debby we will definitely stay again. Tom was amazing to work with. Fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of storage and space. There were small areas in the place to put things like keys and jewel or extra stuff this is a big deal to us women. Huge closet. We loved this place. One of the best we have seen in a long time

Vaca 2024

We love Sea Pines. This was our 4th time to Hilton Head and 3rd time renting from Tom Ives. His place is perfect for my husband and me. He keeps a beautiful place and is wonderful to work with. He goes above and beyond for his renters. We love coming to Hilton Head. It is very relaxing for us. The restaurants are great, shopping is great and the beaches are very nice. We will be back.

Perfect for a couple!

The unit was clean and tidy. Kitchen was very well stocked, and we were very happy to see all the extra pillows for the bedroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and the walk-in closet with washer and dryer was greatly appreciated. Location is perfect with easy walk to beach and The Salty Dog. Would definitely stay here again.

Immaculate

The unit was immaculate and the kitchen very well equipped. Tom is easy to communicate with and helpful. This is an annual family trip and it was the best accommodations we have had in 4 years.

Another wonderful trip

This is a wonderful property! Clean, comfortable with quick beach access and close to Salty Dog. Sitting on the balcony, drinking a glass of wine watching the sun set was perfect way to end each day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - great condo in a great location at a great price! Clean, nicely equipped & close to the beach, bike path & shopping & dining at South Beach Village, including the Salty Dog Cafe - all within a few minute walk. Only critiques are that operating the TVs was confusing, & the front door keycode didn't work well.

Perfect Couple Getaway

Location is amazing. Condo is very well stocked and clean. Just as advertised. We would definitely stay again. Easy walk to The Salty Dog and the Sound Beach. We rode bikes everywhere! Super fun long weekend for our anniversary.

I grew up in Solon, Ohio and vacationed on Hilton Head almost every year since 1972...I know, that's a long time! Graduated from Michigan State University's Hotel and Restaurant Management program and moved to DC where I started my career as a hospitality analyst / consultant. Since then I've worked in hotel development, finance, and ownership. And, for the past 25 years, I've worked as a hotel real estate broker selling hotels all over the country.

Having traveled extensively, I can tell you there is no better place to come home to than Hilton Head Island. Even though I still have one foot in Atlanta, Hilton Head is my happy place.

My parents built a home in Hilton Head Plantation in 1990 and for most of my kid's childhood, we used Folly Beach or Coligny Beach, but pretty much forgot about Sea Pines. Then in 2013, we rediscovered Sea Pines and all of its beauty. Plus, The Riverstone Group has now poured nearly $200 million into new Sea Pines Resort amenities like The Beach Club, The Plantation Club, the new Harbour Town Links Clubhouse and all the new improvements to the Marina.

So the trick was to find a place walking distance to the beach that wouldn't break the bank. And Bluff Villas was the perfect fit. We bought a two-bedroom condo in 2013 and renovated it top to bottom. Then, in January 2016, we bought 1701 Bluff Villas - a ground floor, walk-out end unit with an expansive view of Calibogue Sound. Then in January 2017, we bought 1685 Bluff Villas and did another total renovation.
