This rare prestigious Sonoma Valley East-Side location is where you want to be, conveniently located 4 minutes from wineries, shopping and deli, and 7 minute drive to the Historic Downtown Sonoma Plaza (the town of Sonoma), and 20 minute drive to the Napa Valley Wine Country!

Amazing Panoramic Views, Gourmet Kitchen, Spectacular 28' high ceiling, indoor/outdoor Sonos sound system, 7-1 surround sound Theater Room with 2 full size canopy daybeds, Pool Table, Pool, Hot Tub, Pool House, outdoor kitchen, outdoor dinning, outdoor shower, 2 gas fire features with built in couches into rock (seats 10), 2 wood burning fire-pits (for s’mores roasting), garden, apple orchard, lavender & olive grove, and collect delicious organic blue, green and dark chocolate specked chicken & duck eggs from the coop daily!

We include two bottles of wine from our favorite wineries for your enjoyment! Also included is a Keurig coffee maker with of k-cups, Nespresso coffee machine & pods & milk-frother, tea station, spices & all basic cooking supplies, shampoo & conditioner & hypoallergenic body wash, hair dryers, 8 spa robes, 8 plush bath towels, 8 pool towels, and parking for 6 cars. Group trip to wine country

Castello di GoLightly was wonderful! Each of us had the same “wow” reaction as we drove up to the house. The living spaces were terrific…the outdoor spaces even more so (wish it had been warmer to really take advantage of it all). Sarah and Graham are consummate hosts, and Graham’s paella to cap off our stay was perfect

Much better than expected

Property description did not do it justice. We traveled with 4 couples and we had more than enough room for everyone. The outdoor space was amazing. The host was exceptional, the best VRBO experience we've had and we have rented over a dozen properties.Thank you so much for sharing your amazing home with us.

Vacation of a lifetime

We planned a wine tasting family trip for my 60th birthday. We have never stayed in a VRBO before so we did not know what to expect. We scored with this property!!! Sarah and Grahams home is like a personal resort! Sarah answered all of our questions that we had in a very timely manner. She also gave us a very detailed email with transportation companies, suggested wineries to visit, personal chef list etc. This helped us plan out our itinerary before arriving. Our kids were so happy that we had chefs come to the house each night for dinner. That way we were able to enjoy all that the property offered. We had chef Graham make poolside paella and chef Ed brought a live sushi station to the home. This way we still had time to enjoy the hot tub and have drinks by the fire pit during the sunset each night. The other thing I want to mention is the bedding is luxurious and they offer pillows for everyones personal preference. They have thought of everything you might want or need! We also used California Wine Tours for all of our transportation. I would highly suggest them to everyone! I just hope we get the opportunity to take our friends there soon! Pictures don't do it justice you have to experience it for yourself!!!!

An outstanding experience

There aren’t enough wonderful accolades we can use to describe Sarah and Graham’s home. We’ve rented all over the world and this has been the best experience by far. The communication and availability from our hosts exceeded all expectation- and yet that’s nothing compared to what a beautiful home they have. It was everything we had hoped for and more. I cannot speak highly enough. If you have the opportunity to rent this stunning property, consider yourselves lucky indeed!

Fantastic long weekend

Our family of four had a fantastic time, so did the family and friends that joined us for afternoons, evenings, and late evenings by the fire pit. The property photos are wonderful, the reality lives up to it. A short drive from downtown Sonoma. But, while on the propery, it's like being in a mountain retreat. I walked outside the morning after we arrived and saw my daughter just sitting on the grass overlooking the valley, reading, looking. We all had moments like that. The hosts are engaged, thoughtful, warm and welcoming. Great family smiles all weekend.

Memorable Family Vacation

Castello di GoLightly was the perfect destination for our family trip to wine country. The house is beautiful and the views are even better! Sarah & Graham were gracious hosts. We cooked some delicious meals in their well-equipped kitchen and even made pizzas at the pool in their Italian pizza oven! It was a bit too cold to swim, but we did utilize the hot tub. We enjoyed playing pool and other games downstairs and watching movies in the theater room. We also had fun playing with the chickens, ducks and Guinea fowl. Our only negative with the house is that the primary bedroom has no door to it or do the bathrooms in the bedrooms. The location is close to downtown Sonoma and Buena Vista Winery. In only 45 min to an hour you are up in Yountville, St. Helena & Calistoga. The drive up there is so worth it. Too many great wineries to choose from!

Perfect View

This property was gorgeous - from the house to the views. We had a great stay and wish we had time to spend out the house moreso than we did. The hot tub was so comfy on the chilly nights.

Better than the on line Photographs

It is secluded but only a short drive from Sonoma town centre. Lovely view over the valley. The hosts could not have been more helpful, they responded quickly to questions and gave good suggestions as to where to eat etc. Fresh eggs from their chickens too!

Fantastic stay at Castello di GoLightly

Gorgeous views, beautifully decorated home, and great amenities made for a memorable birthday weekend for my husband! Loved all the lights, hot tub, and nature surrounding the house. You feel like you are in a secluded resort but as a bonus, a drive to downtown Sonoma less than 10 minutes away! Can't wait to return!

Amazing location

Our experience of the Castle was amazing. From the moment of check in, you feel as if you are taken away somewhere that is unique. What I love so much is the combination of both spaces to gather, as well as spaces for privacy that this property has. Halfway through our stay, I was already planning our next visit to this house and who I would like to invite. And the hosts are the ultimate in gracious. We've stayed in many properties, and this was by far one of the top 3 for us. Strong recommend...you will not be disappointed.

Impromptu weekend getaway

On a short couple day notice we found this wonderful Sonoma home with the best owners!! We locked up a Saturday thru Monday getaway for my wife and I and two daughters, son in law and new baby Quaid!! Weather was awesome, views from the house spectacular. Hone was more then comfortable and any questions we had Sarah was a text away. We will do this again!! Thank you both for a great time!! Goose

Unforgettable Vacation Experience

We stayed at Castello di GoLightly to celebrate a friend’s 40th birthday and it was our most unique and wonderful wine country stay yet! The house and property were more amazing than the photos, which is always a relief. The views will take your breath away! The spa robes in every room and water bottles by beds, very comfy mattresses, luxury sheets, and the wine and cheese they left for us was a really nice touch. We loved exploring and taking photos in the castle turrets, collecting fresh eggs from the coop and feeding the friendly chickens treats. We did poolside morning yoga, popped down for wine tasting and then came back just in time for our two paella chefs dueling it out for us poolside. Delicious! Sarah even arranged for us to ride in a Parade of Lights float for Sonoma’s Vintage Fest Harvest Celebration around the Historic Sonoma Square with costumes! That was a memory we will never forget, and we took tons of photos! We ended every evening soaking in the beautiful hot tub overlooking the sparkling lights of the valley below. Now that we’ve found this special wine country property and hosts, we can’t wait to come back next year with more friends!

Graduation Get Together

Castello di Golightly is so well equipped and luxurious that you'll want to remain house-bound and not explore the delights of Sonoma and surrounding areas. We had teenagers to grandparents staying following a high school graduation. All ages felt relaxed and pampered. Sarah and Graham have a wonderful home and we can't wait to return.

Wonderful venue to celebrate my brother's 60th and mom's 85th birthday!

Gorgeous views. A unique and wonderful property with a great outdoor layout with cozy fire pits and seating areas. Sarah and Graham are lovely hosts and totally responsive to every need and request that we had during our stay.

When we are not traveling the world, we love cooking flaming poolside paella dinners for our houseguests, and roasting s'mores around the firepits, late night singing and playing instruments, and on a nice day floating around in the pool! My hubby is a high tech rock star in 3 bands, and I love throwing big fun costume parties with friends, enjoy landscape design and gardening, doing art, building rock castles, (obviously ;) and playing with my kitty and happy garden chickens :) - Sarah & Graham, Castello di GoLightly

I grew up in Northern California on a hippy commune and my hubby grew up in New York. We both love Sonoma!
