So grateful to have found this home and to have Thom and Anne as hosts. We come to Fish Camp annually for a conference. It was our first time in this home. Thom is an active communicator and, thankfully, lives nearby. This turned out to be incredibly important, as PG&E turned off power to the area to reduce fire threats. We knew of people staying in Oakhurst who were turned away from their hotel because the power was out, and we knew others staying in houses nearby who didn't have back-up power. Thom had warned us in advance, then kept us updated when he received alerts about the power. Within an hour or two of the power outage, Thom came by to show us how to use the generator and he stopped by periodically to make sure we had enough fuel for it. The house was well located and very spacious. Checkout was one of the easiest we've ever had. Usually, hosts both charge you for the cleaning AND make you jump through so many hoops. Thom and Anne's process was really simple. Thank you for the hospitality.

very nice place and pleasant hosts. The whole process was a great experience. Hosts went above and beyond to let tenant know about best hikes, great places to eat and everything else we needed to enjoy our stay

This was a wonderful place to stay for a group of 6 (4 adults, two kids)! The house was extremely well appointed and the hosts had everything labeled and easy to find. We loved having the kitchen to prep easy breakfast & lunches before heading off to explore Yosemite, and having space to spread out once we got back from long days out. The location was excellent as well - truly only 5 minutes to the south entrance which made a big difference in drive time and helped us explore more of the park. We would happily stay here again!

This cozy cabin is just about as close as you can get to the South entrance of Yosemite. If you’re looking for a place for your family to spend a relaxing weekend away, this has it all. My kids loved the pool table and I loved the spaciousness to spread out and cook in a real kitchen rather than staying in a cramped hotel room. Perfect way to visit the National Park. Thorne was highly informative and helpful. Thank you for being a great host!

Everything was exactly as described in the listing. Hosts super helpful in the lead up to the trip with information about the property along with Yosemite. Spent lots of time on the patio and in the kitchen, which had ample cooking utensils, Super close to the south Yosemite entrance. There are labels throughout the property to prevent any confusion and help you understand how to adjust the temperature, use the stove, turn on the grill outside, etc. Outstanding property and hosts!

We had the best time! The home was perfect for our family trip including grandma and grandpa. We loved everything about it. The owner's were bery helpful and communicative. They went above and beyond and were very accommodating. Sad we wont be able to stay again, its also a great location.

Yosemite leg of road trip

The cabin was perfect. Fab location from which to enjoy Yosemite, comfortable and well equipped. We loved the games room and the deck / hammock! The hosts were amazing. Great communication immediately after booking, going above and beyond to give advice on the area and the reservation system at the park. Thank you so much for a great stay - we had a fabulous time.

Clean and comfortable cabin close to Yosemite

We enjoyed our stay in Thorn’s cabin. The home has lots of comfortable space that worked out great for our family. The rec area was fun with an awesome pool table. We highly recommend staying there.

Great location and clean home

The house is nice and big, very clean and exactly as on picture. Our host was very communicative and the location for the south entrance of the Yosemite is 2 min drive so perfect if you don’t get your permit and wish to be at the park before 6 am…
