Cozy cabin in the pines 2 miles from the South gate to Yosemite National Park. Nestled among baby Sequoia trees and towering pines, this is a perfect Yosemite retreat for couples looking for a romantic getaway, small groups or families. Indoors it features an upstairs loft bedroom, large main living area with dining nook and a modern kitchen. 55" large screen TV and home theater system. Bathrooms are downstairs. Outside features a large patio, yard, private hot tub and garden area for relaxation after a long day exploring Yosemite.
Seasonal wood burning stove (not a fireplace) available November- April. Come relax, get away and enjoy the peacefulness of the mountains!

Cozy stay at camp

It was the perfect get away for my wife and I along with our dog. The hot tub was great for relaxing after long days of hiking at Yosemite.

Great setting !We enjoyed the stay . It was everything I thought it would be. I definitely plan on us going back. My girlfriend Terri was happy and that's what matters. We will add to our getaway place in Yosemite.

Perfect location for Yosemite visits

Cozy cottage was perfect for our 3 days in Yosemite. We went in an out of the park since the home was just 8 mins from the south entrance. The downstairs area is perfect living space with plenty of room. Hot tub was nice after hiking. 2 full bathrooms were a nice plus.

Fantastic location! If you are looking to explore Yosemite and have a sweet place to chill at after this is your place.Located just outside of the south entrance, this place gives you quick access to the National Park and all the beauty with in. After a day of exploring you get to return to a wonderful home. The hosts are excellent to work with. Provide clear direction. Easy check in and check out process. The place is warm and inviting. Has everything you need. We so appreciate our chance to stay here!Highly recommend.

Amazing location and property

This cozy little cabin was the perfect stay for my family as we explored Yosemite National Park. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and feel right at home. The hot tub felt amazing after a day of hiking, and our dogs loved having a nice neighborhood to walk in. The host was also quick to reply to messages. We will definitely try to stay here again!

Fun stay at Yosemite

My wife and I stayed in July 2025. We had a great time visiting Yosemite! The location of this house/cabin is fantastic and as long as you are an early riser, no problems with lines getting into park (it's less than 3mi from south entrance). We arrived to park by 645a each morning and it was only a 5min line at most. We were there on weekend in summer, and by 830a, the line is about an hour wait, or longer! The house itself is good if you have a small party (a couple). There are two bathrooms, both on lower level and only bedroom is upstairs, so that is the only negative we had. Otherwise, clean, great location and as described in listing!

Wonderful Cottage

The cottage is great. It is close to the Yosemite's south entrance. We had the privilege to having the entire neighborhood to ourselves. At least it felt that way. After some long hikes in Yosemite, the hottub was a miricle cure. Thank you for sharing your cottege, we really enjoyed ourselves.

Little Cabin in the Woods

I had friends visiting from England and they wanted to see Yosemite. So, we stayed at this little cabin, and it was absolutely amazing, beautiful surroundings, and a great hottub right outside the doors. Completely private, in amongst the woods and fully stocked. I would highly recommend this cabin, especially for two and a romantic weekend. Very close to Yosemite and close to town for restaurants, bars and shopping.

Fun little cabin in the woods

We had a great time staying at the cabin in Fish Camp. The location made it easy to get to Yosemite and away from the crowds of the village at night. We loved sleeping with the windows open and enjoying the cool mountain air. The house had some card games that our family played when the kids were tired of hiking. Thank you again!

Cozy cabin minutes from Yosemite’s south entrance

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It’s a quick drive to the south entrance to Yosemite so it made getting up early to beat the traffic very easy. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and has basics like spices and oils. The little coffee bar was very nice. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The neighborhood is quiet so sitting outside is lovely. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect for us

This property is in a great location. We were minutes away from the South Gate entrance. Woke up early every morning yo beat the crowds and starting exploring. What a beautiful place. The neighborhood even had deer and turkeys to greet us on our way out every morning.

I have lived in Fish Camp since 2013, and the Yosemite area since 1996. Drawn here as a little girl to be a rock climber on the awe inspiring cliffs of Yosemite Valley. I returned here in 1996 as a local summer camp director, and nature guide in Yosemite, and later worked as an EMT and R.N. for Yosemite National Park and Yosemite Search and Rescue. Out of all my world travels, this is my favorite place. I now live on the East Side of the Sierra, with my partner, Dave, our 2 dogs, and 2 cats.
