Truly a beautiful cabin. The area has a lot of wild life so please lookout for deer, turkeys, vultures and black bears and there are a lot of nice hiking trails to go and site see. Will definitely book again with my family!

We had an excellent stay at this cabin in Ellijay, GA! The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The host was wonderful—so friendly, helpful, and quick to respond whenever we had a question. You can tell they really care about their guests and making sure everyone has a great stay.We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a peaceful and enjoyable place to stay in Ellijay!

My family, 6 adults, 2 babies and 1 dog had a wonderful visit.We enjoyed the water in front of the house everyday. We went downtownEllijay, the Roo Mountain Vineyard, and some went White Water rafting.Accommodations were wonderful. We had trip.

If you are looking for a place to relax and somewhat off the grid, this is the place to do it. Enjoy fires in the cool mornings and evenings. Some trout fishing and just be one with nature. This is the perfect place to relax and recharge.

House worked perfectly for our two families, as it had lots of space and two primary bedrooms. Beautiful location on the river, we enjoyed our time outside on the decks, fishing and in the hot tub. Well equipped kitchen and grill. Kids had a blast and parents enjoyed relaxing. Owner was very responsive with any concern and gave a helpful list of recommendations.

We had an excellent time during our stay at the Trout Trap Lodge. Our host was very friendly and stayed in contact with us. We had plenty of room and enjoyed our walk, time in the hot tub and the porches to sit and listen to the creek was relaxing. A perfect place for my family to spend Christmas!

The property was great for our group. The amenities in the house and at the resort were great for our family. Communication with the owner was easy. Our kids had so much fun being on the river.

Memorial weekend

Had a great stay! Owner provided some great information on local restaurants and attractions. House was just as described and was perfect for me my wife and our two grown children. There’s just something about listening to that creek at night!

Relaxing and peaceful retreat

Trout trap is lovely. The music from the creek is a constant joy. The porches were great. Our family loved the Blackstone and used it a lot.
