Welcome to our summer home right on the lake! We're situated on the sunny north side of Camp Lake (a quiet, residential and full recreation lake) in Iron River, MI. Enjoy your days out on the water fishing, swimming, skiing, or just relaxing being away from it all.

The house is well equipped with new appliances, beds, and memory foam mattresses in most beds. Every room has an air-conditioning unit to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The back yard slopes right down to the shore line with a fire pit and seating for those lovely evenings near the water, which includes a 30 foot dock with an 8'x12' platform. Within the dock area there is a shallow (1-3 foot) beach area for kids to enjoy the crystal clear water. There is a paddle boat and a row boat to use as well as life jackets.

Visiting in the fall or winter? There are plenty of activities in the area to keep you as busy as you would like. Ice fishing, Sled dog races, cross country, snowmobiling or Ski Brule is just a 10 minute drive down the road. After a day out in the snow, come home and relax with radiant, in-floor heating for a warm, all-over cozy atmosphere.

The small town of Iron River is home to several family owned businesses.... coffee shops, antiques, gifts, restaurants and grocery stores. A visit to the downtown is a unique experience for the whole family.

Great Cabin Getaway

Family vacation to get away and relax together. The kids had a blast fishing off the docks and riding around in the paddle boat. Parents and grandparents got to relax and catch up with some occasional fishing of their own. Cabin was clean and well cared for. Great communication with owner for any questions.

Trout Opener

Meticulously clean. Beautiful, peaceful and serene setting on Camp Lake. Abundant wildlife. Excellent trout fishing in Iron County Rivers. Great hosts! Highly recommended!

Nice peaceful location on very quiet lake. Good fishing! Eagles, loons, otters, kingfishers, great blue herons, deer and turtles! Beautiful sunrise and sunset. Cool breezes. Very clean water for paddle boat and swimming! Highly recommended 👍😊

Such beauty

My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. The lake was absolutely gorgeous! We had access to the paddle boat which we used and the rowboat which we did not use but it was nice to know it was there. We were grateful for the life jackets provided. We were able to have a fire by the lake while the neighbors provided firework entertainment. There's plenty of sleeping spaces for my boys and they brought games for entertainment. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed and the beds were very comfortable as well. Although there was no central air there were window units but the house stayed cool enough without turning on the units. We enjoy checking out the town and the local Iron County Museum. Communication was great! I especially appreciated all the information of how to do the checkout and what was expected of us. Thank you for a great experience!

Great house for a ski holiday!

House was perfect for a family trip to Brule. Clean and organized great for a family. Views of the lake were fantastic, and only a short drive to the hill every morning!

Perfect Autumn stay

My daughter and I spent the week looking for property in the area and chose to stay here. It was the best decision we made next to placing an offer on a property on a other local lake just like this one. The house was perfect, the weather was great and the owners were super easy to deal with. It was a great stay. I would highly recommend staying here...the perfect lakehouse to chill 😎

Great place by Camp Lake

Lovely, super clean house that would accommodate a larger family. The lake is quiet, clear and clean with a great dock. The surrounding area is beautiful and relaxing. The house is well equipped - it was nice to have a washer/dryer. Short drive into Iron River and Crystal Falls for groceries, eating out and shopping. Easy communication with owner. We definitely recommend.

Winter getaway

If you want a winter getaway in the snowy north woods this is it! It was so quiet and beautiful! Our family used it as a landing pad to be close to Ski Brule. This short 10 min drive was easy to get to the hill. And the heated floors helped our gear dry. Would definitely stay again !

Great Labor Day weekend.

Great location on camp lake with pedal boats and row boat available. Clear instructions from host. Beautiful lake with iron river close by. Would stay here again.

Wonderful Experience

Exceptional property for a large family and very kind/responsive owners. Our kids had so much fun swimming, paddle and row boating. The lake was just gorgeous and house was very clean and had everything we needed.

Great time!

We had a great time - property was clean and well-maintained. It would have been even better if Carolyn left some local advice - best restaurants, grocers, best place to go kayaking, etc. When we’ve stayed at other properties, we really enjoyed the local insight from these recommendations.

Summer Get Away

This was a great place for a family get away. The home and property were just as described. It was a great combination of unplugging and relaxing by the lake fishing, boating, swimming and relaxing by the campfire coupled with a few day trips to UP attractions like touring an Iron Mine near Iron Mountain and viewing shipwrecks from a glass bottom boat in Munising. The house was clean and comfortable for our family of 6. Thank you for sharing your lake property with us for the week.

Nice Lake side Home!!!

It was great place, peaceful lake side home. We enjoyed the stay and Carolyn was so friendly and prompt in responding. Location is very quite and beautiful hikes and waterfalls with in 30-40 mins drive.

Great property

The one steps to the lake are a little sketchy but does have an alternative path. No ac but we went on an exceptionally warm week for iron river area. Over all a nice clean place with good parking

We (Gary and Carolyn) first visited Iron River in early 2009 when some friends moved to the area and Gary helped drive the moving truck. The scenery is captivating with all the natural beauty and wildlife. We love coming to Camp Lake to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, take long walks, and enjoy the company of friends. The kids love talking about the dog sled race that we watched in Iron River, as well as the Rodeo in the summer! One of these days we will make it to Ski Brule too!
