No cleaning fee. 3 bedroom, 2 bath sleeps 8. Welcome from the owners. Relax with the family at this peaceful place to stay.
Relax while surrounded by nature in a renovated three bedroom house on Golden Lake. You will be set up to enjoy the perfect UP getaway, whether you're relaxing next to the lake or you are nestled up close to the fireplace or braving the weather by the firepit. Remote but only a half mile off of US-2, this house is uniquely situated in the middle of the Ottawa Nat. Forest. Perfect for family getaways, hunting trips, fishing and snowmobiling

The Space
Swim, paddle, fish, cross country ski, snowmobile and so much more from the doorstep. A canoe and 2 kayaks are available for your use. Golfing, hunting, downhill skiing and other activities are a quick drive away. Take in the amazing sunsets from the deck. Marvel at the night ski around the firepit.
Fishermen will find a variety of fish including Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Rainbow Trout, Yellow Perch and Splake. It is also one of the clearest and cleanest lakes in the area. When the lake freezes, ice fishing and snowmobiling will keep outdoor enthusiasts entertained. Bring your fishing poles and enjoy summer fishing right from the dock or from available canoe and Kayaks. Fishing license can be purchased online at the Michigan DNR Website.

We encourage you to bring water shoes.
No Pets are allowed at our property. Some of our guests have allergies. If pets are on the property during your stay, a $250.00 fee will be assessed.

-Although towels are provided, they are for inside use only. If you plan to use the lake, please bring your own beach towels for your stay. There is also 1 towel per guest that is supplied, if you need additional towels please let us know ahead of time or bring your own

-Great cell service for Verizon & AT&T, Wi-Fi is available but can be spotty at times .
Green Bay is 2 1/2 hrs.away. Your rental includes the whole house, deck and access to the lake!

We had a great time! The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved sitting out on the deck overlooking the lake: there was plenty of comfortable seating for everyone and great views of Golden Lake. The pier was spacious and a great spot to soak up the sun and enjoy the great weather and the clear water. Highly recommend!

Nice place to stay for our visit. Good location to several waterfalls as well as the Porcupine Mountains and Eagle River, WI. Right on a beautiful and peaceful lake. Kitchen was well equipped.

Very clean, comfortable and well supplied cabin. Great lakefront with dock, kayaks and a canoe. Backyard has tons of seating and firepit. Nice sauna, too.

Relaxing Cabin in the Woods

This was a wonderful, charming place to stay! I felt at home right away. It was so quiet & peaceful--exactly what I was looking for this weekend.

I could not have been happier with our stay! The cabin itself was adorable! It was clean and very comfortable. The deck was right off the property. I was beautiful! We had a nice fireplace. We did use the sauna but it was available. There was a grill to cook out. Perfect location for hiking. Perfect for the view of the sun setting and rising. We would love to come back again!

Lovely lakeside stay

We really enjoyed the home, it was so peaceful! The lake views were amazing, and the house had everything we need for a comfortable stay. I was pleasantly surprised how fast the wifi worked!

Very relaxing and enjoyable

Very cozy home with all we needed. Close enough to Ski Brule, all we needed for a nice getaway with a crew of teenagers/young adults.

Upper peninsula adventure

We enjoyed our experience in the U.P. from the restaurants, small shops, and our host with VRBO. We'll be staying with Rich again soon.

Everything was amazing, the cabin was very clean and well stocked. We cooked alot during our stay and kitchen had Everything you could need. Gorgeous view of the lake and a very quiet serene setting. Very peaceful. Highly recommend.

Great communication w host. Great northwoods cabin for the 4 of us (2 couples). LOVE the REAL outdoor wood fired sauna! Good location. Beautiful view out the back deck. NIce kitchen and amenities. Good clear instructions. Will be back to the U.P. again!

if you know how to use a REAL wood fired sauna this is awesome! If you are expecting an electric 2 person sauna you bought at costco this isn't for you! LOL :)

Golden Lake get away

House is very well supplied with everything you'd need for a multiple day stay. Was extremely happy to have a place right on the lake. Also the house is a good centralized location for going in any direction to go and explore what the western Upper Peninsula has to offer.

Cozy getaway

We were looking for something fun for our kids 4-7. The ski brule was closeby and ice skating in neighborhooring towns. The fireplace was what won us over choosing a place to stay and it fulfilled our wish. Beds were comfortable and amenities had everything we needed. Very clean and look forward to a return trip!
