Great location

Came to town to drop my daughter off for her freshman year at Syracuse. Really enjoyed my stay, nice room, great location, excellent communication with the owner. Would definitely come back.

Good place to stay

Considering that we shared house with other guests, and having grown up in this neighborhood and similar type of house, I found the house to be very comfortable.

Amazing proximity to campus

Renee was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The room was comfortable. Loved how close the house was to campus - made our stay very easy.

Visit to Syracuse

Great home and wonderful location for my trip to visit Syracuse University. You can’t beat this location and the host was very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend!

Perfect location

Location cannot be beat especially for me with my daughter on mt. Olympus. It was a 0.4 mile walk (uphill but that's ok!).

Perfect location and lovely home

Girls weekend getaway. Easy walk to university campus and restaurants etc. quick and easy $10 Uber‘s all over town. Quaint front porch comfortable rooms and a plate of cookies made it a perfect weekend.

Great Little Place

Renee gave me the Suite on the 3rd floor so I had my own bathroom, a mini fridge and microwave. She was a very gracious host - allowing people into her home. I was in town for a concert at the amphitheater which was an easy drive from the rental. There is information in the room about restaurants/cafes in the Westcott neighborhood - quaint areay of Syracuse. Would definitely stay with Renee again if I am in the area.

Listing says 2 rooms, 2 beds: we were given 1 room 1 bed

While the host is very friendly and I appreciated the personal nature of the stay, she insisted that the listing was for 1 room with 1 bed. It clearly says 2 rooms and 2 beds, which is what I needed for me and my aunt. She charged me an extra $100 for the second room.

Not what I expected but worked out.

First, Renee is a terrific host — and a wonderful character. Her home is a block and a half from my daughter’s dorm and right near a park and Renee makes a great housemate. Also, it’s much less expensive than a hotel. Renee pretty much gives you the whole place to roam and provides snacks and coffee. There are 3 rooms available on the 2nd floor and they all share the one bathroom. Fortunately for me—I was the only one there. I’m sure that’s in the description but I missed it. The room was good enough but definitely needed a bedside reading lamp. Safe, clean, comfortable and good company.

Perfect Syracuse Parent Rental!

Renee is absolutely wonderful, very accommodating, and welcoming. Communication is great and the property couldn’t be better for parents traveling into Syracuse to see their kids. Renee even provides coffee and breakfast. I will definitely be staying here again.

The location is absolutely perfect for visiting kids at Syracuse. Easy walking distance. The hostess was absolutely amazing. Really helpful and accommodating to my late arrival. 100% recommend

Location, Location, Location

This VRBO was perfect for moving our daughter into the dorm at Syracuse. It's so close, you're practically on campus! Renee, the host was extremely easy to communicate and treats you like part of her family. The room and bed were very comfortable and overall it was a great set up!

Lovely stay!

I stayed two nights in this lovely home while visiting Syracuse for a concert. I can’t say enough what a comfortable setting it is and what a great host Renee is. So welcoming! It was a special experience. The location is perfect for anything near Syracuse University. Thank you to Renee for e everything!
