Everything as promised along with a welcome snack. Very clean. A great location for New River Gorge NP and surrounding area. Definitely recommended and would stay here again.

Great home away from home!

This place was a great place to stay. The location was fantastic for all we wanted to do. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The back porch and yard are very nice and peaceful. Highly recommend this to others visiting the area!!

Great location with great amenities

Had a very nice stay at this older property with great amenities. Comfy bed, decent kitchen, excellent location, quiet neighborhood, great AC and internet. Owners were excellent and responsive. A little quirky but had everything we wanted. Great for families.

Great stay in a great neighborhood

The house was very nice, the owners had left snacks & toiletries if needed, & it gave it a warm touch. We met the owner while in town & he was extremely friendly & lots of good recommendations. Everyone we encountered in town were very friendly as well. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

Adorable cottage in convenient location

We very much enjoyed our stay here and hope to come again. The house was the perfect size for our family of four and two dogs. The utility of having a fully-fenced yard when traveling with pets cannot be overstated. House was convenient to all of our adventures along NRGNP, parking and check in were easy, and we were provided with everything needed for our stay - the hosts even left us some snacks to enjoy after our long drive to WV! Excellent property!

Fantastic Cottage!

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at your cottage. The house was very well maintained and well equipped. Nice location in a small town between Fayettville and Beckley, and very close to Summit Bechtel Reserve. We are planning to come back again next year!

Visit to New River Gorge

We loved our stay at this cottage. It was clean and comfortable and central to all the things we wanted to see and do in the area. Our Golden Retriever River had a great time in the fenced back yard. The extra treats and supplies that we discovered upon checking in were a nice touch.

Quiet WVA cottage

This is a perfect cottage for a weekend getaway. Quiet neighborhood with a dog park right around the corner. Grocery, coffee shop, and restaurants within walking distance. Short drive to new river gorge park or water activities.

This cottage was our first home when we moved to West Virginia. We are hard working people who work in the area I am a physician and my husband is a teacher. We have two children and two dogs. We live in WV because we love outdoor activities and being close to family. Our son spent 3 years in this little home in Oak Hill and did not want to move out when we built our house, so we named the cottage A's Cottage after him. We love this area and the people in it and hope that you enjoy Southern WV as much.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

Since we moved out of the house in 2006 we have rented to people by the month. We have found that these renters do not take great care of the property so each time repaint clean up and rent again. We have had great success with renters on vacation, they enjoy the property and take care of it. We also rent out other houses in the area including our main home, so we stay in this home from time to time, so it works well for our family.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

This home has a large fenced in yard. Even though you are in town it seems very private. The best part is sitting on the back covered porch and listening to the birds in the morning with a cup of coffee.
