The Sunset is in a great location close to a marina. The house has lots of space and everything you need with a nice porch to sit on. The boat dock was perfect and easy to get to. We enjoyed the morning sunrise.

We had a great stay. It's a little hard to find at first but the property was clean and well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great house nice lake view...handy to moors marina and restaurant...one thing I will say is it says sleeps 8 but they assuming couples. We had 6 dudes trip. One guy got the couch one guy slept on our boat tube. But that's our fault for not clarifying. Great house and will use again.

Perfect introduction to Kentucky

We stayed here for Eclipse 2024 from NC. The house was just as described, clean, well-furnished, tons of towels, a helpful welcome book, and amazing view of Kentucky Lake. It was perfect for our two-night stay and Allison was so responsive and helpful.

From check in to providing us easier access for charging our boats to the house and the beautiful view the whole group was impressed. No complaints an hopefully staying again next spring on our annual fishing trip

Great Location

We have stayed at these properties for the last 5 years and really like the location on the lake. It would be great to have hooks added to the bedrooms as one doesn't have a closet or dresser.

Just perfect!

We stay here & in the house next door every year with our huge family. It works absolutely perfectly! We love the house, the lake access, the docks, the cove, just wonderful! We will continue making staying here our summer tradition!

Loved the location and view. House was clean. Furniture is a little out dated and worn. The grill was still full of used charcoal. All in all I would not hesitate renting this property again. Satisfied customer.

Great holiday weekend with friends and family

The property was great and loved having easy access to the lake from the dock. Everything was as advertised. Allison was easy to work with and we had an issue with the stove and they immediately jumped on the problem and fixed the issue even on the 4th of July holiday. Would definitely stay here again

Annual family lake week

this is the best place we have ever rented at the lake. the location, dock and updated house really make it perfect. amazing view of the water, nice deck and grille. not too much to ask for. draffenville is about 15 min drive and moors marina about 2!

Perfect Family Lake Home Away from Home

We rented both sunrise and Sunset for a large family with little kids, teenagers, and adults, and it was perfect! We loved having our own private boat slip, and the location is perfect with a beautiful view, without being on the rougher main lake. The property manager was available over text message and very helpful when we needed her! We are only 15 minutes from a Walmart and 10 minutes from the grocery store. We loved the two refrigerators in Sunrise, the Washer and dryers, and both houses were well stocked. We have already booked a week for next year!

FAMILY VACATION

THE PROPERTY WAS NOT CLEAN WHEN WE CALLED THE PROPERTY MANAGER SHE SAID IT WAS BECAUSE WE ARRIVED EARLY CHECK IN IS 4PM WE ARRIVED AT 4:30 PM THIS PROPERTY HAS AN ANT PROBLEM THERE WERE ANTS ALL OVER THE OUTSIDE DECK AND WE WERE UNABLE TO SIT OUT THERE

The Perfect Location and Home-A+++

Our second stay at Sunset and we couldn't be happier with the house and location. We love it! Clean. Comfortable. Nice interior decor and flow of the home. Great view from the glass front living room/kitchen/dining space and a really nice deck to spend time and grill. The boat dock is nice and convenient also. This location is just a short distance to Moors Resort for boat rental, Ralphs restaurant, ice, etc. Everything is right around the corner and so convenient. Nice neighborhood and friendly neighbors. The perfect four bedroom house for our adult children and my husband and I. Allison (property manager) is sweet, professional and prompt, she makes reservations and stays so easy! Always there for my questions, inquiries, requests. We are already booking our next trip for 2024 because we will not be missing out on this house! Love SUNSET! See ya next summer if not before! Thanks again!

House was spotless and everything we needed was provided. The pictures of the views out of the huge front windows aren’t even close to being accurate. The view is way better in person! We hope to return someday.

Bait and switch -avoid

They switched us to another, lesser property (Sundaze on the Barefoot Properties site) that rented for $50 less/night) after it was not feasible to find an alternative. Strung along with story about “renovation” - which was minor kitchen refresh. Photos of that house did not match house (no fireplace), There was no handrail on steep front porch, uneven floors inside, garage has a broken window covered by a tarp. Home was clean, just not comparable to what we rented and paid for. Still no resolution on refunding the difference.

We are sorry you were unhappy with your stay. The property was rented all last year before remodel with not a single complaint and has been rented multiple times since your departure with nothing but raving reviews! You rented this also at a very discounted rated and was offered a refund to not stay, which is why no further monies was refunded. We are sorry again you are unhappy but we tried and did everything we could to assist you. The house had a complete remodel and looks so much better than you saw! The reason the house you originally rented was not available was because of the recent tornado in the area, so again a refund to not stay/move was offered and rejected. Thank you for your feedback.

Changes made the last few days.

This is the property we rented but was change by management on the Sunday before we were due to arrive on Friday. This was done when we could no longer get a refund from VRBO. The new place was not waterfront, did not have deep water access, and the dock was in poor shape. The place the property management place us in actually rented for $50 less per night than what we paid for. We were compensated with a deep water dock on a property that we needed to take a golf cart, which we did receive free. However, it wasn't convenient and this was a disappointment when what we rented was changed at the last minute. I feel the other people should have been switched and not us.

Just okay house, super nice boat dock

Property manager excellent to deal with. House was just okay clean. Windows have mold in the screen runners. House had a musty smell first day. Floor in kitchen not very clean. Beds are not comfortable. Boat dock was great. Location is great.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The location has so much to offer. Perfect for families.

We enjoyed the nice water view with easy access to the dock. Quiet cove. The house had everything you need and more. Great community with so much to do. Many shallow areas in the lake but excellent beach areas. Loved every minute.
