Tim and his family are truly "Super" hosts. I found the unit to be very comfortable, and as quiet as I hoped it would be. The location is ideal, being only minutes to both Waterbury and Stowe villages. I'm already looking forward to my next stay at Hunger Mountain.

This is a wonderful rental for a couple or someone vacationing solo. It's a beautiful location, and the property is clean and has everything you need. The hosts are fantastic and communicated everything we'd need in advance of our arrival. I highly recommend staying here if you plan to spend time in the Waterbury/Stowe area.

A very nice one bedroom on an upper level. Beautiful views out each window. Comfortable mattress, quiet, clean and a nice kitchenette. WiFi works great and the décor is very comfortable. We were there during the busiest time for leaf peeping in the Stowe area. The location at 1,350 ft on the side of Mount Hunger Mountain allowed us to use the back roads to avoid the traffic jams on Vermont Route 100 as we headed to either Stowe or Waterbury. Our host, Tim, was absolutely gracious and generous on how to use the back roads and which restaurants to patronize. Would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay. Super comfortable place with large living room, Well stocked kitchen, convenient washer and dryer. Communication with hosts was excellent and they provided helpful recommendations for restaurants, hikes, and other activities. Location is about a 15 minute drive from Stowe through beautiful areas. We loved the serene location and thought this place was a great value.

This property was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed our stay, very comfortable, the host was most gracious, good communication, the property looked as in the pictures. It looks out on the beautiful mountain range. We really enjoyed the Beautiful fall foliage. Stowe is a gorgeous area and we would definitely stay again.

Anniversary Getaway

This was the perfect location for our anniversary celebration. We were able to enjoy the area during the day and come back to the apartment in the evening to enjoy the sunsets and quiet mountain setting. Tim checked in with us several times during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. Great place to stay!

In the “woods”

Off the beaten path surrounded by the colors of fall and peacefulness. We enjoyed being near many attractions and being able to escape and rest away from the crowds.

Nice private apartment!

The space was clean, well-kept and perfect for a little ski getaway for me and my husband. Tim was super easy to reach and very nice to work with.

Outstanding location and hosts. A serene, peaceful mountain location with incredible views and beauty everywhere you look. An easy 20-30 minute drive to Stowe depending on traffic. Abundant snow shoeing, cross country skiing and hiking literally at the end of the street. The apartment was very comfortable and everything you may need was available. Hosts provided us with sleds and snowshoes to use! Very accommodating. We can’t wait to visit again!

We loved the peaceful quiet of being out in the country yet reasonably close to town. The space was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The living area is bigger than it looks in the photos. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. Host was very responsive and super friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Property owners were very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful views of the mountains from the apartment. Close to all the towns we wanted to visit. Very quiet mountain side. It was perfect for our 10 year wedding anniversary.

OFF THE BEATEN PATH

Location is off back roads between Stowe and Waterbury, and away from crowds, traffic jams, etc. We found peace, quiet and relaxation only a short drive away from attractions and dining. The apartment facilities were immaculate, clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer!!!
