The AC was awesome. The beds were comfortable and the location was very convenient to the highway. The bathroom was very small. Had to sit on the toilet sideways and have never seen a smaller sink. All in all, it was okay.

Rehabbed unit in historic building. Very nice fixtures and furniture. Access was fine (if you don't mind climbing stairs) and parking was easy. Steps from the cider mill. Very convenient to Waterbury, Stowe, Montpelier and Burlington. Erin was very responsive and clear.

The photos posted online give a much better ‘picture’ of the property than encountered in person. For example, the bowl of the bathroom sink is the size of an iPad, with no counter space whatsoever. The toilet is small and there is so little space in front of it, that one must sit on the toilet at a canted angle. The stairs are quite steep, and the width of each step (not the stairway itself) is narrow and you will feel more sure of your footing by climbing up the staircase at a 45 degree angle. I would imagine that it could get pretty ‘toasty’ up there in the summer months.

Free parking, a great location for all the local activities we planned for the trip and steps away from a delicious Cider Mill. Some issues were the amount of spiders and bugs that were able to get in from I believe the windows due to the window AC units and some of the dishes/pots in the apartment were still dirty and needed rewashing prior to use. Anyone renting be mindful the bathroom sink, shower, and the toilet are in a tight fit. The area is very safe and people are pretty welcoming. Everything else was easy to figure out and handle ourselves. I would suggest a larger trash can in the apartment or access to a nearby dumpster for guests with longer stays. Would definitely rent again!

The loft was clean and ready for us. Great location for exploring the area. Shame on us for not thinking about the difficulty of carrying luggage up the 2 sets of narrow staircases shown in the pictures. Definitely challenging for older knees. And we should have read earlier reviews more closely. The closet sized bathroom is difficult to maneuver and you do have to sit sideways on the toilet or you'll bang your knees on the wall in front of you. Most disappointing though was the stuffiness of the loft since they had already removed the air conditioner despite the warmer temps we were having. Kitchen is well stocked if you want to cook. Bring your own sugar and cream for the coffee they provide.

This place is cute. The pictures the owner posts are accurate. Yes many stairs and no elevator but for those without issues walking, you’ll be fine. As on other reviews the bathroom is small and oddly set up but we had no issues. It is clean, close to everything, the beds are super comfortable. I like the charm the place has. The kitchen is very well equipped with pans and other kitchen items. Air conditioning was great and in 3 rooms. Area is also quiet at night and no concerns about rowdy neighbors. Overall this is good for a nice getaway. Ours was made up of my husband and adult son.

Well-equipped for a one-night stay, clean and centrally located in Stowe, Vt., area.Described as having two bathrooms, but it has a single tiny bathroom accessible from each bedroom.

We had a great day here the place was very clean great location close to basically everything! Me and my fiancé stayed here for three nights. We brought our two huskies and it was phenomenal. Check In check out with seamless no issues with Check In at all or check out five out of five for us. We will definitely be back when in town for STOWE MTN

We had a great stay. The apartment was exactly as advertised and VERY clean. Beds were cozy and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a weekend stay and hosts made it easy. Well priced. Air Conditioning worked very well and despite being an attic apartment it was cool and comfortable.

The apartment is very cute, the kitchen has everything you need, and the beds are very comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews the bathroom is extremely small with the toilet in an awkward position and a sink so small you will get more water on your feet when washing your face. The two sets of stairs are very, very steep and small, and there is nothing blocking the opening at the top so not the best for very young children. The location is great, very convenient for skiing at Stowe and we also took a ride down to Barre and Montpelier. There is another apartment and you can hear through the walls, we had neighbors that were singing loudly after 9pm unfortunately.

Spotless and smooth

The location was perfect. It was clean and well kept. Central location to all places we wanted to visit. Walked to delicious donuts. Our pup was comfortable. The kids and I slept well, cooked meals and hung out happily. We will definitely be back.

Erinn is a wonderful host. She's very responsive and accommodating. The space is clean and well appointed, especially considering it is an attic apartment. This is our first time staying here. The building was the original General Store in town. My Grammy grew up in this building and her father owned and operated the Store. It was such an amazing experience being able to stay in this space and having Erinn as our host made it all the more special. Grammy would be proud of the way it's being cared for.

This was a nice spot in the fall! Just a few short steps from a fantastic cider mill, short, easy drive to Stowe.The place was clean, bathroom recently updated, smart appliances, comfortable rooms and bedding. I will say, be sure to read the info about stairs. There are two flights of steep stairs and no elevator. The rooms are large and comfortable, it's the an attic loft so the roof line does come down over the sleeping space, but it didn't bother us. The ac units worked great during our stay.

Not good was not ready for rental

The host was not ready to rent this at time of arrival.Overall very hot its a 3rd floor unit and did not have AC working, the temp was 89 degrees upon arrival. The bedding was winter flannel and toilet was only 7 inches from the wall so you could not fit on it. We could not sleep opened windows but they only opened half way and did not cool anything much they were too low to the floor. The owner Erin told me I should install the AC if I want? ridiculous...We did not stay the 2nd night.

Just ok stay

Booked this for 1 night only for 4 adults. The property was clean and located centrally to lots to see/do along route 100 in VT. Very disappointed in the listing description versus the actual apartment. Listed as 2 bath but in fact there was 1 bathroom with an entry from either bedroom. The toilet faces so close to the wall that an adult could not sit straight on it but had to sit sideways. The place is sparsely furnished with a futon couch and no other living area seating. There are two small metal kitchen chairs and 4 bar stools to choose from. Not very comfy set up. The only light switch for the main space is at the top of the entry stairs so bring a flashlight if you need to get up in the middle of the night. The listing also showed 1 flight of stairs but I fact there are 2. This apartment is a converted attic space and I imagine would be extremely hot if temps rose above 75 even with the AC in the bedroom. I would not recommend for a stay longer than 1 or 2 nights. The price was a bit steep for what is offered.

We felt dooped when we saw the place in person. The pictures are not an accurate representation of the place. You not only have to ascend one flight of treacherous stairs but two into an attic. The stairs are so steep and shallow that I had to turn sideways to navigate them.When we arrived it was 80 degrees in there. There is a window air conditioner in each bedroom but neither one was on. Fortunately we needed to leave so we were able to turn them on so the place was somewhat cooled down when we got back.Very narrow, tiny kitchen that you pretty much have to walk sideways through and a decent living area but only a futon to sit on unless you pull the two small chairs in from the tiny kitchen table or sit on one of the uncomfortable bar stools.There are two small bedrooms that are made smaller by the slanted roof making it difficult to get into bed on the left side in one and the right side in the other.There is the tiniest bathroom between the two bedrooms with a door leading into it from either bedroom with no way to lock them from the inside. The front of the toilet is situated so close to the wall that you have to sit sideways to use it.It is definitely way over priced for what it is especially after paying an extra 50 for an earlier check in time of 1:00 instead of 4:00.
