Check out our reviews and enjoy a great beach getaway in a clean family environment

Gulf Highlands is a family friendly gated community with security. The complex has 11 pools(4 heated and 1 beach side),tennis courts, shuffleboard and mini golf(directly across from unit).

No smoking or pets allowed inside unit.

The unit downstairs includes a living room with sleeper sofa, dinning room, half bath, laundry room, and a fully equipped kitchen. The outside patio faces a the canal has 6 chairs with a fire pit table, and a grill. The setting on the canal allows for nice quite mornings and evenings with out the beach crowd. 18 holes of putt-putt and 2 swimming pools are located just steps away from the front door.

Up stairs includes a two full baths and two bedrooms with king beds, one with a private balcony overlooking the canal. Unit also includes WIFI, cable, washer and dryer.

Park directly in front of your unit, no parking garages or slow elevators to contend with! Beach is just a short walk away.

Week in Paradise

We loved our time here. The condo was as pictured clean and close to one of the pools putt putt and a short walk to beach. We come to Gulf Highlands every October and will try to rent this condo again.

Nice place

Place was nice, clean. Apparently the cleaning lady didn't like baby powder on the floor in a restroom so we picked up a $20 charge when leaving. Oh well. Other than that... we'd go back

Our new vacation spot!

The host Bubba was the best host yet. He contacted me ahead of time to make sure I received check in information. Very easy to get ahold of if anything was needed. He even noticed us or a boil water advisory that he received the time of our stay. (This didn’t affect us at all) His place had everything you needed to cook a good home cooked meal. He even had a beach cart that wasn’t listed. We brought our own but now we know for future reference . I highly recommend staying here. The beds are super comfortable as well and that’s hard to find when staying on vacation. 20/10 recommend! :)

Summer vacay!

We loved our stay here at this cute little townhome. Buddy is a wonderful host and is always available to answer any questions or address any concerns. The home is in a perfect location and very quiet. This was our first time staying off the beach and we were not sure how we were going to like it but we LOVED it so much. We would def recommend staying here and we will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Buddy!

Short trip for a wedding

This property was perfect! The only problem was some dirt on the sheets of the pullout sofa bed but we changed them and things were great!! Would definitely recommend!

Long weekend over Columbus day

Very convenient and loved reserved parking in front of unit. Well stocked kitchen. Loved the comfortable beds. Owner was accessible immediately.

The best yet at Gulf highlands

This was the best townhouse we have stayed in on the property, and we have stayed many times. Buddy was absolutely the easiest person to deal with. I highly recommend and will keep this location for future visits. Thank you so much Buddy for working with us. We had the best weekend getaway.

Lovely home that made our vacation top notch!

We had the BEST vacation this year! Was super nervous about not staying right on the beach however Mr. Ivey’s condo made it totally worth it and it was only a very short walk over to the beach. Mr. Ivey has everything you could need at the condo and had the most comfortable beds we’ve ever had on vacation! My kids said this is our new vacation home!Community is quite and relaxing. Also only one small hiccup came up that was complete out of his co trip but Mr. Ivey was on it so fast and had it fixed immediately so was no inconvenience to us! Hospitality is great! Cannot say enough kind things about this unit and it’s owner! Must stay!

Buddy, the owner, was very informative. I liked that he contacted me a few hours after we checked in to make sure everything was ok. That was very classy. The condo was very clean and furnished. We enjoyed the stay and would definitely consider his condo on a future visit to PCB.

Wonderful Stay!

This condo and host were fantastic! The pictures don't do it justice! We knew it was going to be nice but were pleasantly surprised that it was even nicer than expected. Communication with the host, Buddy, was super simple and fast. The beds and linens were super comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathrooms were great. We were very appreciative of the washer and dryer on site as well. We also enjoyed being so close to putt putt and some pools. The lagoon view was gorgeous and opening the blinds to it each morning was an added perk. We enjoyed everything about our stay and you will too!

Great location & great communication!

Had some snags but overall an amazing experience and the owner was amazing to communicate with all around! I’ve rented from a lot of people before and this was by far the best communication experience I’ve had!

Gulf Highlands Beach Resort

We stayed in a nice townhouse in GHBR. We were close to multiple pools, putt putt golf, a gym and tennis courts. House overlooks a canal. We saw fish and turtles in the canal. A crane visited each morning. House was convenient to PCB attractions. Owner was very responsive.

Great place to stay in Panama City!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Gulf highlands resort! Mr Ivey really communicated well and made the whole process really easy for check-in, checkout, etc. The condo was really nice and not to far of a walk to putt-putt, pools, and the beach. Condo was fully furnished and as described. Look forward to staying there again sometime soon! Thanks Mr and Mrs Ivey!

Overall very good

There were a few glitches in the check in process (door code didn't work, parking passes weren't left) compared to what the instructions were, but these were quickly resolved by the owner via text. The unit was surface clean but could use a deep clean (cobwebs in corners, stains in fridge), but the owner did indicate his regular cleaning person had been unavailable. The unit is right down the street from one of the many pools and the "fitness center" (that's a term I'd use pretty loosely, not very much equipment, but it was enough to get by for a vacation anyway). Water takes a bit of time to get hot, but once it does it's fine. All appliances and equipment worked just fine. Overall it was a good stay and would choose again for another trip.

We are the Ivey family from McDonough, Ga. My father purchased this condo in 1986 and when the construction was completed in 1987 we moved in at Christmas for the first time. We have rented the condo out to family and friends at Delta Airlines just on a word on mouth basic and had many of the same family enjoy in the summer for 20 plus years. The unit has never been rented via a rental program. This is the first time we have ever put the unit on VRBO. The unit was total remodeled two years ago and we believe it to be one of the nicest units in Gulf Highlands. We have expanded cable and Wi-Fi in the unit. We would love to share our home away from home with you.

Close to all the action on PCB but able to retreat to very quite environment. Kids love playing the free putt putt in complex just 100 ft across the street from our front door or enjoy cooking out on the back porch along the quite canal

Even though condo was build in 1986 it has had several remodels over the years and is up to date with almost every thing you need. I you have to bring is you beach chairs. If you don't want to bring they can also be rented in front of the beach access by a local vendor
